Always a good atmosphere and Cheyenne, one of the barbers, is dope. However, since COVID, they stopped doing beard and facial hair trims. Thats why I only gave them 4 stars.

Highly recommend the Judes cut. Love the special treatment around the haircut. I always call ahead and I never have to wait longer than 5 mins. Jack (a female) has cut my hair twice & did a spectacular job both times.

If you want a killer hair cut and some good conversation Cheyenne is the person to go see. She always does an excellent job.

They will cut gals hair. Cheyenne does a fantastic job. She listens to what you want, or dont want, before she starts cutting your hair. Shes very good at it. Im sure the other stylists are great too. The app to schedule appointments is really handy!

I have been getting my haircut here since I started living in Lansing about 2 and a half years ago, and I have only had Jack cut my hair. Hands down the best haircuts I have ever had. Jack does a great job listening to you but also adding her own artistic spin. Always a pleasure speaking with the staff there as well. Jack deserves a raise with the kind of work she does on peoples hair ;) Thank you for finally being the place I can go get my haircut at!

The interior has a very interesting and comfortable design thats fun to look at. I asked for a recommendation on my haircut and ended up with something new that I really like. Elizabeth was very nice. I would definitely recommend coming here.

I have been coming to this store for a number of years now, but Ive finally settled on Samantha. She has never given be a bad cut and she always gives me the perfect fade. Shes good with a beard trim and really has an eye for style.Samantha is always down for a good conversation. Just dont hit on the poor girl.

Hair stylist talked too much.

I was visiting Lansing and in need of a fade. I walked into the shop, asked them if they could do a low fade, they said “Yes, for sure.” they got me an appointment for 45 minutes later. I had a margarita down the street, came back and the girl just took clippers to the sides and back. I asked for low fade skin. Nope! If you can’t do a men’s fade don’t say you can! It’s not just one clipper setting! I gave 3 stars and a good tip for the conversation. Haircut sucked.

I was able to find a stylist here who could regularly satisfy my extremely picky haircut demands. Would give five stars if the phone system werent centralized (which makes it impossible to directly dial a specific location--you have to go through a branded call center to schedule ahead).

Shout out to Jessica. Shes very knowledgeable about maintaining a good beard. Fantastic job on my hair and beard and thanks for the info. This brittle beard is brittle no more. Lol.

Good haircut and conversation. My suggestion would be to combine some of the things you offer to do instead of tacking on; like, instead of $52 bucks for your shave and Judes cut separately, make it perhaps $32 w/ a discount for the two things. In that way, things would be reasonable.

I usually always have a good experiences at Judes. This was my first time at the downtown location. Only reason Im giving it 3 stars is because there was some bad smell going on like sewage.I prefer the Okemos or Frandor locations.

Sent my boyfriend here because i heard it was a good place. He sat for over 25 minutes waiting while 3 barbers were standing around doing nothing. Was told they had appts coming in at 11. But by 11:15 they were all still standing there. So if appts are late they just wait instead of helping paying customers who are right in front of their faces waiting. Wont be back again thats ridiculous.

Great place to get your hair cut and receive a little extra pampering. We men like that stuff too ya know?

Service was great, prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. But the environment felt excessively marketed to men, in almost a pandering way... oh, youre male, you must need metal & concrete everywhere in your salon to feel comfortable.In fact I felt quite uncomfortable, due to the numerous pictures of scantily-clad women plastering the walls. I really dont see why thats necessary. It seems condescending to men and dehumanizing to women. Will not return, for that reason.

Ive always had friendly service here. Book online or with their app before going and you wont have to wait. Try to go early in the morning or after work since they are usually busy with government employees during the day.

Don’t get FOOLed by the ambience, lighting and setting. They are not stylist, they are not barbershop this are typical lawn mowing company. All that they ask you is how many inches on top how many inches on side. They will cut down a lot in very first cut and then try to adjust the mistake and finally say your hair doesn’t fit this style.If you are good barbershop you don’t require anything else extra like fancy things washer massager etcIf a pen is flexible glittering non breakable Sensor enabled but if you just can’t write properly then what’s the use of calling it as a pen.Similarly this management should understand that their core business in hair cut if they are not good in that what’s use of other services.DONT waste your money guys goto a better barber shopUnfortunately I’m give one star because I cannot give zero star.Let me see if the management reaches out to me or their customer service is also horrible.

Kinda disappointed with the price of a 5yr old hair cut, $18 + $2 tip????? After checking this place out online I was skeptical and called to verify if this place was indeed a barber shop, woman in the phone replied with yes. We schedule a appointment to have his hair cut, after his hair was close to being finished, I could tell his hair was subpar compared to the barber shop we normally go to. I noticed that the female had a certificate in her craftsman tool box, and after taking a closer look at it, her license said she was a cosmetologist. Not only was the hair cut expensive, and not up to barber standards, I was blatantly lied to over the phone. I would discourage anyone of going here.

Ive left disappointed way too many times to give Judes another chance. It didnt matter which one I went to, or which barber I seen, Ive been consistently let down by their lack of skills cutting and sylting black hair. Today, was especially abysmal though, I asked for a fade and was completely disgusted by the results. It looked like I had been shaved by a weed wacker. I made sure to show the barber a refrence picture of what i wanted, its up to the barbers expertise to deliver, not the other way around. So, for the barber to ask me which length should her guards be is complete B.S. Its a shame really that Judes barbers arent more versatile.Please do better, thanks.

Have had 8 haircuts there, all excellent from multiple staff members. I always take advantage of the free (I always tip though) neck cleanup 3-4 weeks into a haircut. Worried they dont charge enough.

They do decent work like most Judes, but they close fairly early and are often understaffed. If you dont mind going to Okemos or East Lansing they are available until 9 p.m.

The worst costumer service experience and the hair cut is like worst then a blind trying to do a hair cut, my husband ask for a trim and the barber (Jacqueline) royally mess up his hair, left about 4 different layers and on top its longer and uneven from side to side, we call their central office # and all they could say is sorry someone will call you and nobody has call, we are super super frustrated, and will never go there or will recommend to anyone
