Over the last 35 years I owned 6 Lexus models and had Pleasant experiences with service advisors and the salesmen of various dealerships till now. Donald Lash was my assigned service advisor was unfriendly and sounded rude when I took my LS 460 for 100,000 mile service which I scheduled on phone a week before. The agent who gave me appointment was nice and explained the details of service and the cost and promised me a loaner car as the service will take about 2.5 hours. Due to some mixup my car was not on the service appointment list for that day. Me Lash acted frustrated and questioned if I really made appointment and if yes to name the agent I talked to which I did not remember. When I suggested him to check and see if it was on some other day of the week. Then he said it was on following Thursday. I offered to come back if the technicians are busy ( I probably would have preferred to go to some other dealership ) he managed to get the service done. When I picked my car the other service manager who was very professional dealt with me as Mr Lash was on lunch break.This is the first time I had unpleasant experience with any Lexus dealerships. I will not go back in future to Lexus of Lansing if Donal Lash remains as service advisor.

Very poor customer service, service rep very rude and unresponsive to customer needs.I was not given a written estimate prior to starting repairs on wifes vehicle. Repairs were to take a hour or less and it ended up being closer to 2 hours. Cost of repairs was twice as high as what is normally charged. Our questions and concerns were dismissed out of hand. Terrible dealership to deal with. Well worth drive to find another authorized repair facility. Wife is very disappointed.

Got a little used BMW 2 weeks ago and I love it. Had a small issue with an oil leak (can happen when you buy used) these guys got me taken care of no problem. I will absolutely be back when Im ready to upgrade that that new Lexus lol. Everyone I worked with was fantastic!! Thanks guys!!!!

The only thing that was disappointing was the the tech person wasn’t there and we were unable to resolve an issue with our Bluetooth connection. We were pleased with everything else. However it is Labor Day weekend so it may have been an unusual circumstance.

I recently purchased a 21NX out of state and had a problem with some road vibration and the drivers side mirror vibrating. I called Lexus of Lansing as they are close for me. Don was super friendly from start to finish and assured me they would handle it. They did just that! Tested the car on the road and determined it had a faulty mirror! I dont feel like the service was up to the Lexus standard that I have grown to expect. I usually go to Mead Lexus in Utica, they are amazing; however, since I started working in Lansing (a couple of years ago) I have been taking my vehicle the Lansing dealership. I will not be going back. 1. They charge far more than the other dealerships for the same service. 2. They rotated my tires and told me they were fine BUT when I inspected my car, I see a bubble on the back right tire. 3. They inspected my brakes and told me they are good YET when I press the brakes the car shakes horribly. Needless to say, I have to wonder if they actually did any of the services they claim to have completed. It is sad day when you take your hard earned money to pay premium prices for premium services that you have to question if you received! That simply doesnt match what I think when I hear LEXUS.

After completing the service I requested. The technician took it upon them self to not just reset that maintenance reminder but all of them.Also it was released today Toyota is the number one contributor to the politician’s that refused to certify the US election. These contributions were made after the attempted insurrection. Not sure I will buy another Toyota.Disappointing

I have two contrasting experiences with Lexus of Lansing.The Good: Nick the salesperson was nice and no pressure. Misty the sales manager was quick and efficient. There was no slimy feeling to any of the transaction. When I took possession of my vehicle it was clean and ready to go. In essence, they got the job done in a quick and efficient manner...just like any good dealership should do.The Bad: I bought my last car from North Park Lexus of San Antonio. The difference between the two dealers is disappointing. North Park has excellent facilities and has the customer service experience down to a fine art. All of the staff were dressed exceedingly well and were obviously trained in the art of wowing a customer. In contrast, Lexus of Lansing was run-down both inside and out. Staff were nice but much more casual than I expected.I gave the dealership four stars because they did the basic job well. I feel like a 5-star rating for a luxury dealership should include a little bit of pop or wow. Hopefully the next time I need another vehicle they will have taken the next step.

2 great guys at the service center

Service writer was professional and courteous. Went in with an appointment and waited for almost an hour and forty minutes for an oil change and tire rotation. The waiting lounge needs updating. No beverages, no snacks. Looks like everything was ripped away. Not a pleasant experience for waiting.

They did great work on my car but I was under the impression that the whole total was going to be a set amount when in fact, it was the amount of one out of 3 issues they needed to fix! So my bill being double the amount I thought was partly on my misunderstanding but they should’ve called with a total and then the breakdown! Customer service was very friendly and courteous!I also wasn’t pleased coming out of a Lexus dealership of all places that they didn’t use a car protection sheet by the pedals so I have grease all over my driver side floor, nor did they complete a complimentary wash and vacuum like most dealerships do!

I worked mostly with Misty but also with Ron and Ashley. Misty provide level “10” presale services and the same at the time of sale. Ron and Ashley were knowledgeable and patient and took time to explain things (some things twice!) and answer my questions. Everyone at the dealership was clean and professional, including using personal protective supplies. I have not had such a positive car buying experience ever - until now.

After accident with our Lexus, we found the service in returning all electronics to be less than adequate. Waiting in Lexus of Lansing service waiting room for an hour only to be told you would do nothing. Then driving back to Saint Johns to body shop so they had to waste their time driving back to Lexus in Lansing was unnecessary for both of us and the Body shop and caused us to go without our car for the whole weekend. Will be looking for a new place for service from now on.

I negotiated the purchase of a new car for my father, over the phone, from out of state, with Misty Gautz. The day before he was supposed to pick up his car, Misty had to close the showroom down for disinfecting, due to possible Covid-19 exposure. Misty had to quarantine, so she made arrangements for an employee from a sister dealership, to step in and complete the transaction, in her absence. My dad picked up his car, and he just loves it. He said it was better than he expected. He arrived earlier than his scheduled appointment at noon, and he said Jim Keaton handled his transaction with no delay. Jim programmed my father’s home address in his navigation system, got Sirius started for him and gave him a quick tutorial of the car instruments. Jim handled all the paperwork through the car window, so there was limited risk of exposure to Covid-19. My father said Jim was very efficient and professional and assured him that he would be available to answer any questions, should the need arise. The experience so easy and pleasant!

I was visiting Lansing and my Lex began making strange noises. I drove to the dealership and was met by concerned, accommodating people who took care of me immediately. The service area was immaculate and convenient to use. Because the problem involved my muffler system, the cost was significant, the car is old, and Im considering a new one, I decided to postpone the repairs until I made several decisions. Caleb, the nice young man who dealt with me, was understanding and did not try to pressure me into committing to repairs at his department. Id deal with these people without a qualm.

I would very highly recommend Lexus of Lansing to anyone thinking about a Lexus vehicle. I recently contacted them about purchase of a new car and knew what pretty much what I was looking for. Misty gave me a straight up price over the phone and said a car like I wanted was scheduled to be delivered in a week.When the day came for the car to arrive the dealership was notified that there would be a delay in delivery for a few days. Apparently the logistics companies are running behind due to Covid.Misty and her sales team jumped into action and found me the same car at another dealership so that I wouldn’t have to wait.They picked up the car, prepped it and delivered it the same day.Fantastic service with extra effort made by everyone involved in order to be sure that I was happy with the transaction and I couldn’t be more glad to have dealt with them.
