DO NOT COME HERE!!! unless you want the interior of your car to be doodled on with sharpie and left with fat dirty handprints all over the interior. The carelessness and lack of respect for my vehicle that like any other vehicle have paid thousands for to have it to be left in such a disgusting state is unacceptable.

These guys stay busy. They have proven to be knowledgeable, reliable, and reasonably priced. I do recommend them, they answered questions, and made recommendations I trusted. However, you will pay the vendors card fee if you dont use cash.

Nice place great people great service.

My Mom has been using them for years and I was having a problem with a check engine light and engine shuttering on my sons car. One dealer misdiagnosed it and gave the car back with the exact same problem. Another dealer diagnosed it correctly (stretched timing chain) but wanted almost as much as the car was worth to fix it. Bragg diagnosed the problem, gave me upfront, affordable pricing (thanks Nurleen) did the work correctly and finished it early. Cant ask for more than that. I dont usually even do reviews but they earned it.

Worst experience ever and would not recommend this place to anyone. Took my car in for a repair and they called me back saying it was ready, so I came and picked it up and when I drove it home the car began smoking so I called back and they tried to blame it on us so we have to get the car towed back to the shop where they claimed they would fix it since it was never fixed before and they did the same thing. The car began smoking after an hour of driving the second time I came to pick it up and they charged me for everything when they didn’t fix a thing, if anything made the problems on my car worse. Definitely poor service and would not recommend. Horrible management.

My vehicle broke down on the highway. I was over an hour away from home. My insurance would only tow my vehicle 13 miles. I ended up getting it towed to a Chevy dealer and was quoted an outrageous price. So I began to look at other shops and found Bragg’s Automotive, they gave me a quote over the phone and went to pick my vehicle up and fixed with for 3xs less then what the dealer was trying to charge. My vehicle was ready with in less than a few hours. I wasn’t sure if I could make it in before they closed. They stood ready to accommodate me. Their customer service was excellent, and the service was impressive. If I lived closer this would definitely be my go to shop. Highly recommend Bragg’s automotive.

I was referred to Bragg by a co-worker some months ago. Boy do I wish I wouldve listened to him initially because it wouldve saved me a LOT of money. The issue I was having with my vehicle (oil leaking) was supposedly fixed by another shop. However, the work was NOT done correctly and had to be TOTALLY redone by Bragg. Also, they caught a broken fuel line issue that I didnt know I had which may have been inadvertently damaged by the other shop; we dont know. Im just very grateful that they did b/c they said it could have caused a fire or worse. They were VERY thorough and fair in the pricing considering the work that was done. I officially have a new shop! Lastly, Nurlean (I hope I spelled that right) and Grace in the front office were so pleasant to work with on the business side of it. Thank you.

I’ve been coming to Bragg’s since I was 16 and have always had a great experience. Being a person who isn’t entirely familiar with cars, I feel comfortable coming to this repair shop. They are great at explaining whats wrong with my car at a level that is easy to understand. Recently I came here at a really busy hour and they were still quick to get me in and out within 30 minutes. A special thanks to Charlie for being kind and dependable.

Great service, not the typical BS other shops give you where they try to sell you what you dont need. Randall went into every detail and broke it down so I knew exactly what was done. Definitely the most honest shop Ive gone to. Quick turn around time, had my truck back in less than 48 hours.

I was recommended by a friend to talk to Randall on my search for a used car. He and Grace were incredibly helpful, kind, and informative throughout the entire process- Randall found me a used car that ended up being less than my price point and exceeded my expectations! In addition, Randall and Grace stayed late on a Friday for me and were incredibly understanding about it. Randall went through every little detail of the car with me and explained exactly what he replaced and why, and Grace went through the paperwork with me and explained what it all meant. They also gave me coupons for two free oil changes! When my friend recommended Randall and said her family goes to him whenever theyre looking for a car, I soon understood why.

I am so thankful for Braggs. They always do an excellent job at very reasonable prices. They are honest and trustworthy. I have been a happy customer for almost fifteen years and wont go anywhere else.

So I bought a car 2003 grand am for 1600 dollars. Plus the 450 for registration. The car did not last a week. I drove the car a few days and had to put 4 bottles of engine oil so then it started to leak antifreeze. I took it in to them. They knew this was a problem prior to selling it to me but did not communicate that. I communicated that I need my car as soon as possible because I work in Evanston. It took them two days just to diagnose my car...once they did that they communicated that I needed a whole new engine. He is charging 1500 for a used engine claiming that he is giving a deal...900 for the engine and 600 for labor so in total I would be paying 3100 for a 2003 grand am with 138,000 miles on it which is a rip off. Also I dropped my car off Tuesday...I won’t be getting my car until Monday...if then. They were not the least bit empathetic about the horrible car that they sold me. The shop has took advantage of me. I find it odd that this shop has good reviews.

My daughter bought a car from here and she was well taken care of. Even a month after the purchase, the trunk stopped staying shut. She called and they fixed it labor free. She just had to buy the part. You dont get service like that anymore.

Braggs Automotive is a fantastic shop. Extremely honest. We brought our 2014 Toyota Sienna in for a no start condition and were told that it could be the alternator. I knew about Braggs for many years through a cousin just never got out there way until the 5.4 motor in our 2007 FORD f 150 died with 105,000 miles on it the day before thanksgiving after a good conversation and advice with Charlie he gave us some options as to rebuild or replace which we chose for a remanufactured engine from FORD with a 3 yr unlimited mile warranty Braggs installed it and we had it back in 5 days everything was as new we were told up front that if an additional bolt or gasket would be needed they would contact us first as this was a 10 yr old vehicle THEY ARE VERY COURTEOUS AND DONT TRY SELLING YOU SOMETHING YOU DONT NEED ITS A GOOD FEELING WHEN YOU WALK IN THERE DOOR i just stopped there for my first oil change on the newly installed motor they did and that was free RANDALL inspected my brakes which i figured were due last done 3 years ago and he said i still had plenty life on all 4 wheels even reassuring me when he heard me talking to another customer i would be doing alot of summer driving to baseball tournaments with my son i since have taken another vehicle to them and had a friend stop there and buy a truck from them GIVE THEM A TRY I WILL BE BACK

Ive purchased 3 cars from Braggs. A Grand Prix and an Acura and an Oldsmobile. Every car ive got has given me at least 120,000 miles before any major issue. They really take the time to make sure the cars are clean before they leave the lot. Repairs are done well and timely. I would recommend this shop to anyone.
