Had an appointment at 11am got there at 10:30 just so the door can be lock knocking on the door for 15 minutes and no one answer the door and the phone when u call really unprofessional. And they open up at 9am so idk what they are doing horrible service wasted time and money I dont have to come here for no reason

Nothing u read online is correct make sure you call them and email them extensively to make sure they offer what you are looking for because this whole thing seems like no one actually cares to help in the slightest.

How this agency stays in business, I have no idea. It is virtually impossible to get a real person on the phone. And the robot phone menu options take you to no one either. Always voicemails or dead ends. One time I got to speak to a very sweet receptionist who gave me the correct number for my needs and when I called it, no one would answer there either. Shocker! I literally dread having to call this place.

I’ve been going to Merakey for a year first here and then they switched the adult outpatient to Colmar and it’s very unprofessional and not worth your time. No one ever keeps in contact with you and there is always problems with the insurance especially if you have Medicaid and it’s impossible to get appointments because when you do have them they always cancel. I’ve tried to work with the staff there but they either ignore you and never return your call or aren’t very helpful and don’t know what to do. They discharge you when you can’t get through to them even if you try to reach them and I mean calling everyday and the people that work the office aren’t very considerate. The only good thing I can say about this place is I had a very good Thearipsit her name was Meghan (for the adult program) and she really did try to help and fix the problems Merakey couldn’t solve. However all and all it was a waste of time for a year and not worth it in the end, and I totally don’t recommend this establishment if you have Medicaid.

Great place with many services to offer. Some of the desk help could use some therapy of their own. I realize this is a job where you must be challenged on a daily basis but you are a place of providing services for people that may be challenged with multiple setbacks and problems they are being faced with. I’m not a client but have sat in the waiting room observing multiple situations that could have been dealt with in a professional manor rather than that of what I had witnessed. A fly on the wall so to speak.

Horrible practice. The location is absolutely dirty, dingy and disgusting. The person that did my sons intake was 45 minutes late. After the intake that took almost 2 hours the woman told me they didnt have the therapists schedules together and would call me in a day or two. They did however set up an appointment for a psychiatrist. A week later I receive a phone call telling me that the psychiatrist, Dr. Boswell, has decided to take a vacation and they need to reschedule our appointment - for over a month later!! Also, I never received a call to tell me when my son could see the therapist that I was supposed to receive. Absolute lack of professionalism! I called and filed a complaint for whatever good its worth. I will be seeking services elsewhere.

I dont even know where to start. They constantly cancel and reschedule appointments on you and then tell you if you reschedule or cancel one more time you wont be able to be seen anymore when THEY reschedule and cancel CONSTANTLY but they punish you! And the adolescent psychiatrist needs his license revoked bc he he is verbally abusive and completely inappropriate where adolescent females are concerned!

My therapist Lana at Merakey was great, she really took the time to listen and was friendly and helpful. Dr. Shan, the psychiatrist was not very attentive and was sometimes even on his phone during appointments. I didnt get the feeling that he really cared probably because he has his own private clinic. Some of the front desk people were nice enough, but others seemed like they didnt really want to be there. Also, when I was having a hard time with anxiety I called to make an appointment on March 7th and they told me the soonest appointment they had was April 25th forcing me to look elsewhere for services. Not a good provider in my opinion.

Great counselors recommend Olga or Tim. Front office needs help needs to be more caring to needs of patients. Have a little more heart more docter staff

I can only speak from my experiences this is a state funded place and all they want to do is bill the state insurance the first two ladies were very nice then I was done then I kept getting calls and letters but I would call and get voice mails and I keep getting messages and not nice ones that I need to come in for a session to get my meds strait lol! Im not on any meds never have been I got a dui 11 years ago and just got busted for driving while suspended and judge ordered a psych evaluation thats it. If u really need help really try to get private care not public this is basically insurance fraud imop.

*sigh* I really, really, really want to give this place 5 stars. The DBT program is one of the best there is. Some of the therapists are absolutely amazing and have helped me so much. HOWEVER, since Merakey took over management, there have been MAJOR PROBLEMS. Id give one star if it werent for the help I received when it was still called NHS. My new doctor (whose name I wont mention for legal reasons) has:1. Prescribed me a new medicine and forgot to refill it. Three times.2. Verbally advised me to increase my dose but did not write the actual dose in my chart3. As a result of #1 & 2, I have run out of medicine three times in the 3 months Ive been seeing her.4. Called out of *every* appointment weve had so far, forcing me to reschedule and be without meds for even longer.5. Not seemed in any way receptive to my politely voiced concerns.Now, I understand that new management can mean a bit of a rocky transition. I completely understand that. And theres one woman who works at the front desk who I consider to be a superhero. She has gone above and beyond to help deal with all the madness that has been happening to all the clients. I feel awful giving this place 2 stars because it used to be a good place to go. I have faith that it will soon be a good place to go again, but currently, I would not recommend going to Merakey unless you are a very squeaky wheel with incredible diplomatic skills. Thank heck I learned such wonderful interpersonal skills in their DBT program prior to the management change!

People are very nice and considering of you needs even thoe the name changed but not the people.

Great front desk workers who are personable and helpful. NHS provides vital mental health services to the community including dual diagnosis services.

The front desk people are nice. The place is a hole in the wall, They could definitely do better with the building the rooms ect... The psychiatrist Dr Collin the worst! My therapist is okay, who dont rush me. Allot of therapist care more about money and rush you out the minute your hour is over but she dont.This place is straight unprofessional!!! I only come here for my therapist! I dont even feel like going into details about all the BS this place has put me through SmhhJust go else where!

Peer specialist and employment specialist really suck at their jobs.Never call or text you back. They shouldnt even be in their positions.Why does Merakey keep bad employees? Not a very good organization.

If I could go lower I would-- finally got a hold of someone after months to get an appointment for our son.Got in for our appointment we had to move a lot of things around for, including taking the kid out of school early!Got there and filled out the papers and releases which could have been sent to us weeks ago.Then was told he intake appointment we were there for would take over 90 minutes- this was after sitting and waiting OVER AN HOUR!Thats okay not like we had other appointments or plans that evening.Then they tell us suddenly that because were receiving a service elsewhere that they offer, we may not be able to receive services there.Horrible horrible will never go there
