Just moved in just last month and have loved it so far. Well kept apartment, wonderful pool, and easy drive to everything we need. LARGE closets are a lifesaver. Our kids love the plush carpets (and likely our downstairs neighbors do too ;) and are big fans of the playground right in the middle of the yard.We are lucky to have found a 3 bedroom place right in the area we plan to search for a new home. It was the perfect landing place for us.
Very nice place to live.. its near everything and the apartments have recently been all remodeled. The community is very nice and works hard at keeping its residents happy.
So how much do you pay people for a 5 star review?
Enjoyable environment-Lived at Forge Gate 2+ years and it was an enjoyable time. I had a 3 Bedroom/2 bathroom that my family and I felt at home. Maintenance guys were GREAT, they always took care of my work orders within 24 hrs or the same day, they were very professional and very nice! Barbara and Kate in the leasing office were very nice/friendly as well and all my issues were resolved in a timely manner! My family and I enjoyed living here, will miss seeing the deers outside. Wish the rent didnt go up so MUCH every year because I would of stayed. I would recommend Forge Gate to anyone looking for an apartment.
The management staff is very welcoming- the people in the community are friendly- I enjoy taking my walks in the morning in the neighborhood and waving hello.
Apartments are family friendly in a nice neighborhood. The apartments are safe and up to date. The amenities are nice for when you have friends over (pool/ gym). Large balconies. Plenty of storage. My friends and family love the place. I have a friend moving in now and others interested and looking.
I lived at Forge Gate for nearly two years and it was a very enjoyable time. Super close to the PA Turnpike and Septa Regional Rail Line. I had an upgraded 2/2 apartment that I really enjoyed. Barb and Katie in the leasing office were amazing and very accommodating if you ever had any issues. The maintenance guys were awesome at providing prompt service to my apartment. The apartment community is very diverse with people from all walks of life. I throughly enjoyed living here, the one thing I loved is that the entire staff made it a priority to know who I was, you don’t see that in too many places.
Queit neighborhood. Friendly neighbors, awesome staff, good amenities. Good school district. Plenty activities to do. Close by stores and restaurants. Great location!
I moved to Forge Gate in mid-November, and I have had nothing but a fantastic experience so far. We recently had a major snowstorm, and the property was excellent in terms of removing snow from pathways and parking lots, which was a great surprise.Maintenance has been incredibly responsive in the limited interactions I have had with them, and the property feels clean, safe, and friendly. The property staff have been nothing but friendly and accommodating, and they really have done a great job making Forge Gate feel like home.
I looked at a lot of different places to live and found this one to be Ideal for my needs. The staff has been very pleasant and Katie really helped me through my decision.
Living here has had its ups and downs. The apartments are large but out of date. Appliances are old and not efficient. Inefficient appliances = higher electric bills. Requests for things to be fixed go completely ignored or they are only temporarily fixed. The rent goes up each year, but the quality of the property does not. Lansdale is a nice place to live and I chose to stay in the apartment because North Penn School district is exemplary. Also, for those who care, Comcast only. No Verizon.
Avoid renting here at all costs. Well unless you like over paying, appliances that don’t work, and bees in your apartment without them doing anything to help. Worse mistake was moving in to this overpriced place. Has cheap appliances, cheap paint, outlets that don’t work, and next to no parking. Speaking of parking when you eventually find a spot don’t be surprised to get your car dinged up and have management not care. They also like to try to make up charges after you leave for damages either there when you moved in or to help pay for upgrades they want to make. You can find a lot nice for a better price than forgegate. AGAIN AVOID HERE, DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!!!
Consider yourself warned! Lived at Forge Gate for 2.5 years in two different units. We had RATs coming out of kitchen, Living BEEs coming out of AC vent almost every day in summer. Both HVAC systems make VERY LOUD CRACKING NOISE in the bedrooms, especially during winter time from early NOV until late MAR. It sounds like someone is constantly squeezing, bending and kicking the duct. The maintenance guys said the noises are caused by the expansion and contraction of the metal duct but they are not able to/plan to do anything to fix it. The LOUD noise goes on and off every 15 mins during night, and each time it takes 5-10 mins to totally cool down. I was told by the leasing office that almost every unit they have here has this problem, units on the third floor are in worst conditions. The noise wakes an adult up several times during night, but I can put myself back to sleep. However, we recently had a baby and the noise wakes her up multiple times during night, it takes me around 30 mins to put the baby back to sleep each time, in the end my baby has to sleep in the hallway out side of the bedroom. I contacted the leasing office multiple times, their answers are cold, standard and helpless, and they constantly remind me I need to pay one-month rent to move out early. I cannot leave my baby in such a living condition, after failed searching for a suitable leasing place to move to during this cold winter, we end up bought a home in 3 weeks. Based on the leasing agreement item #27, I argued we should move out without penalty, because apparently this unit is “inheritable” to my baby, the termination is not due to my fault. The manager does not agree because she said and I quote here “the noise is not a health hazard for the baby” “it is your own choice to put the baby in the hall way” “maybe you and your baby just need to get used to the noise”. Hard to believe the person who say things like this really has a heart. I asked if they would improve the HVAC for future residents, she said “will not make any improvement”. The staff here said no one else is complaining about the issue which is totally Bxxx, how do I know? because I talk to my neighbors. One neighbor told me he has to sleep with his sons in the living room when they visit every week. I have never dealt with any leasing office like this before, totally do not care about lives of their residents. Also, the toilet bowl ROCKS badly after once the maintenance people reinstalled it for fixing the leaking problems downstairs, we called them up to fix it, they said they cannot fix it unless to replace by a new one, then we never hear back from them. Apparently, things that do not kill you immediately are not considered problems! PLEASE DO AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. I AM RISKING MY DEPOSIT MONEY TO WARN YOU NOT TO MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I DID. I believe it is my right and obligation to post this review.
Nice size apartments, Good staff to deal with. Overall living in forge gate was a very good experience.
Nice area nice unit good staff
Horrible experience. Would not recommend this place at all. Property Mgt plus the maintenance team is awful. Experience was bad, along incompetent staff. A real poor 💩 👎👎 experience.
Staff is always friendly and welcoming
Poor management, rents increase every year by 15%, too many restriction, old apartments, less important for resident need,
