Spectrum internet is the WORST internet service provider in the Antelope Valley. Their customer service representatives are misleading and deceptive. The internet service is subpar—they had the gall to cut off my connection at 10:30 pm EVERY night. I will take my complaint further and inform the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) about their fraudulent nature. Spectrum violated my consumer rights. I am happy I immediately switched to AT&T internet service.
I’m at the store to swap a modem that’s failing. The wait time is killing me. I don’t see Spectrum mobile taking off with the poor costumer service. We are about 12 people waiting and only three employees are working. The employees seem stressed and unhappy. I feel bad for the poor workers here. They are sure unhappy with the way the company has them working under this poor service conditions. There are are 8 stations for costumer service and only three are working. Bad bad bad. Sad sad sad.
I owned my own modem and my service was interrupted until a new modem they sent was installed for their faster service. So I asked them aboutiut their faster service and theres a 200$ initial charge on top of the extra 65$/month for the privilege of access to 1GB service.The only reason people use this service up here is there arent other options.
After 20 years Im free!You change your name yet, your businesspractices are the same.I was hoping prices would get better yet,unknown charges every month still incurred.Ive grown old with you guys yet, acknowledge you dont care about good loyal customers.My zip code says you can charge me any amount you want.Whos going to say anything?Not nice!Do better, people are hurting out here.
Spectrum closed their location on other locations to make everyone use their newer Spectrum Mobile locations. Each customer takes about 20 minutes and while I was waiting only 3 people were helping customers, 1 signed people in and the other 2 just stood around. Scanning equipment barcodes and printing a receipt should be fast but they try to sell mobile service to everyone. 45 minutes to return equipment on a Monday morning is absurd. They have the monopoly on internet in my area but thankfully not mobile service. Avoid if possible.
Their sales rep snuck a landline that I have been paying for and not using for over a year ! And when I call em to resolve this the first thing they try to do is sell me a mobile phone plan ! Screw spectrum theyre out to screw the people all trust has been completely lost at this point ...

BeWare!!! This company will steal from you! If you make a return and your device is in perfect condition, (you can have evidence showing the perfect condition of your device just before you sent it to spectrum it will not matter) spectrum will charge you the full price of the device! they will not send it back to you. In short Spectrum needs absolutely no proof to their claims they will simply claim that you had damage to your product and will steal the full price from your bank account and leave you stressed anxiety-ridden and screwed over. Also when I was on the phone trying to get this issue resolved as soon as they took me off hold I was hung up on by Representatives twice and had to call back twice so you can expect that to happen as well. Now to be clear I never make reviews because Im easily satisfiable and dont like to complain. But I was so wronged by this crimnal company that I have to make it known so hopefully spectrum wont be able to do this to someone else who really cant afford it even more than me. Dont use Spectrums Mobile options!!! And dont expect this company to do the right thing
