I’ve lived in an HOA managed by Horst for five years. It was a little rough in the beginning with a new HOA, but our property manager, Nancy Miller, is fantastic. She knows our community and is responsive, attentive and professional. Excellent! Remember, your board makes decisions, not Horst.

Wish I could give zero stars. CHRISTI NEAL needs to be fired. She won’t help when I’m trying to pay. Left her multiple voicemails and she just hung up on me. They harass you through mail but won’t answer the phone when you try to understand. Went to court once against them. Need to speak someone is charge of this terrible operation but it’s impossible.

Great to work with. Have not had any issues. They have been very responsive.

Our Association has utilized Horst Property Management as its property manager for over 7 years. As a condominium association, we are responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of more infrastructure than a typical HOA, including the exterior components of all residential units, streets, sewer systems, etc. This necessarily gives rise to a significant number of maintenance and other requests being received by Horst. Horst staff always does their best to respond and manage these work requests as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our property manager, in particular, has been invaluable to us newbie Board members as we work through the problems and affairs of the association. A recent portal upgrade is particularly helpful to Board members in monitoring and managing delinquencies, invoices, maintenance, architectural and landscape requests. Overall, as a current Board member I am very happy with the service and support provided by Horst.

In response to the comment below: I actually felt the need to leave a review due to a lack of consistent enforcement of the guidelines as well as less than professional communication.

I have filed numerous complaints at my apartment office and one of their representatives happened to be there the last time and said they would take care of the problem personally. The problem persists!

As a pressure washing contractor, working with Stephanie P., is always a pleasure. She is extremely professional and cares deeply about the properties she manages and the people that live there.

A completely thoughtless group with no real concern for the welfare of the community. It focuses its time on the smallest things while glaring issues in the communities remain. Also instances of bigotry and favoritism I’ve seen firsthand.

Constantly charge late fees despite proof that payments were post marked well before they were due. (I provided numerous receipts from the Post Office) They claim that payments only post when theyre received which means if they forget to check the mail for a week, youre paying the late fees.

Everyone Ive dealt with at Horst has always been very responsive, professional, and friendly. Highly recommended.

They run and idiot operation managing Homewood Suites at Grainte Run Lancaster that a bad case of bed bugs threw out the Hotel over charge customers for their rooms also have a General Manger who has know idea what he is doing also ran by a bunch Spanish Home Boys taking care of the Hotel

Paying HOA fees to this crappy company...Last yr it took 3 days for them to have the snow removed for us to get out of the neighborhood...and they still havent sent anybody out to plow today, while the other half of the neighborhood which is rentals run by another property mgmt group has been plowed out already...

They dont bother to call back when you leave a voicemail.

Who ever run this place its horrible including there secretaries they never return calls or even bother calling you back smh.

Impossible to get a hold of and never follow through.

This company is horrible!!!!!!
