Got me in very quickly, and got me back on the road, Reasonably priced and even had a biscuit for my dog. Will definitely return and would most certainly recommend.

Norm, is honest and operates his auto repair business with the utmost integrity. I had a diagnostic issue 3 years ago that was preventing my car from passing inspection and after trying 4 different mechanics, i went to Norm and he had it fixed in a day. Since that day, I use Orange Dog Garage exclusively and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and fair mechanic.

I called Norm late Thursday afternoon told him what was wrong with my car. Normsaid he was swamped but he would fit me in on Friday, because he didnt want me driving on the 33, during rush hour with the condition the car was in. So Norm stayed after his closing hours ( on a Friday) to get the job done and my car back on the road.Thank you Orange Dog Garage.

Believe me this guy is a scam artist. After the third time going to him I finally realized he just cares about profit. Fyi he loves doing 4x4 work too.

If you want a fair, honest and dedicated, this place needs to be shop for your car.

Excellent service. I get updates on the work being done and called with a diagnosis before they go ahead with additional fixes. I get suggestions on upkeep, but never feel like Im trying to be cornered into something. I appreciate that kind of attention.

I took my car to Orange Dog because of a stabilizer warning. Norm called me the next morning and explained what was broken. He gave me 2 options to correct it and estimates. He had it fixed and ready within 2 hours. He and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Price was reasonable. Definitely going back for all of my auto repairs and maintenance.

My Dad always told me as a kid to find a mechanic you trust. Norm and the orange dog garage team are exactly what he was talking about.I like to keep my cars for a long time and expect the routine maintenance that comes with zero dollar car payments. I stumbled onto them when his shop was in Akron and I’ve followed him to his Lancaster location based on those great experiences.Norm will shoot straight and provide you with what you need repaired. I’ve had alternators, brakes, AC, and some other repairs done with this garage and every time I felt the job was done right and at a fair price. Norm has also recommended what additional services I might need to keep my car safely rolling down the road in the future; I’d consider these exchanges somewhat like he is my automobile consultant... “here are some of the things you can consider in the next 10,000, or 15,000 miles.” I can then budget appropriately before a failure and larger repair because of more damage done.I have recommended them to my friends and family and would encourage you to give them a call.Great job Orange Dog, please continue this type of service.

I went to Orange Dog Garage looking for a trustworthy and locally-owned shop for my Hyundai Accent. Originally, I took my car to a corporate chain brake & muffler shop, where they said I needed new oxygen sensors and a new catalytic converter (parts alone would have been $1,200). They couldnt explain exactly why those were necessary, so I went on the hunt for a better shop. Online reviews led me to Norm at Orange Dog Garage, and Im so glad I took my car there. He took his time in evaluating the problem, and found that there were NO new parts needed (just some disconnected wiring). He literally saved me from spending almost $2,000 in parts and labor. He did convince me that some brake work was needed (I have been putting it off for a while), so I had him do the work. Car is running smoothly. Only issue for me was the distance--hes pretty far out there in Clarence. But totally worth it.

500 for a tune up on a k1500 Chevy He couldnt figure out what was wrong with the truck.Idid . He Also put in wrong firing order . 2 yearslater it had Bad catilitic converter..lol thanks for the tune up .orange chooch garage .

My check engine light came on and I took it to Norm right away. He said there was three issues. Now any other mechanic would try to convince me to get all of the repairs fixed asap. However, he informed a couple of the problems could wait, and to not worry about it for the time being. Which I really appreciated. Ever since then I have been coming to him for all my repairs. He is definitely a trust worthy mechanic, and I highly recommend the Orange Dog Garage.

I had been having ignition problem with my 2007 Ford Explorer. I brought it to a local Ford dealer and they told me it was a bad coil and plug. Replaced both, warranty only covering the coil not plug and still had to pay a deductible. Still having the same problem after about a week, I brought it back to a different Ford dealer. They said they could not figure out the problem (“No Codes”) but recommended replacing all the coils. Warranty would not cover this because there was no definitive failure. I then brought the Explorer to The Orange Dog Garage. After explaining everything to Norm he spent about 15 minutes looking at my Explorer and found that I had a broken spark plug. He told me he could replace the plug while I waited. Since I already replaced one I had him replace them all, and even though he did not recommend replacing the remaining coils I had them replaced as well. The broken plug had broken in a way the Norm could not get it out by normal means. This was a Saturday morning, not having any way of getting the plug out Norm told me I may be without my vehicle until Monday or Tuesday. I told him that was going to be a problem. Norm then went to his office and five minutes later he was on his way to pick up the tool to remove my broken plug. He went out of his way to get me up and running. My total bill was about 75% less than what I was quoted at Ford to replace just the coils. The biggest expense was replacing the coils, which Norm did not try selling me. This is why I will continue to have The Orange Dog Garage service all my vehicles.
