Love coming here to see the cats and dogs. Wish i could take them home but i have a household full of pets already. Kittens are usually 2 for 1 adoption fee (check with associates). They also do grooming, clipping, microchipping,etc. Check them out for prices.

I just came by the shop to look at the kittens and ended up adopting two fur babies! The staff was friendly, patient, helpful and provided a lot of useful information during the adoption process. I recommend this Adopt & Shop for your new fur babies and pet food & services. I’m so happy with my two fur babies to be apart of our home.

Its a wonderful place. Its gets great foot traffic from the mall so all the animals are regularly seen. All the workers and volunteers are very sweet. I have been going daily while I wait for one of the dogs health to improve before I can bring my pet in for a visit but I plan to adopt from them soon.

They are the best. Thank you Katrina Cecilia Shauna and all other employees and volunteers for helping us to adopt our first fur baby kamille and taking such a good care of all the animals in the shelter. It is a no-kill shelter and people who works there really friendly knowledgeable hard-working with good heart who really care about their animals.

Small location, needs a second cashier. There was an over 30 minute wait in line while the person in front of me was adopting a cat. I was the next in line, even though I was just purchasing a collar, leash, and name tag. I was offered to be checked out first, but couldnt since I was purchasing a name tag. I was happy that a cat was being adopted, but there needs to be a second cash register made available.

I have adopted both my cats from Adopt & Shop. They take really good care of all the animals. The staff have always been really nice and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend if you are looking to add a new fur baby to your family.

We adopted the cutest kitten ever. They were so nice here and so thorough with the information they gave about and for the cat. Patient and clean store. I would use them again in a minute!

My fiancé and I have passed through this adoption center many times. After months we finally decided to give a new Baby a forever home. Andrea or Andria was the young girl that helped us(sorry I forgot the spelling). She was very welcoming when we walked in and when we showed interest in our little Penny she gave us some of her back story. We have adopted cats from other adoption centers in the past, so knew what to expect. We filled out the quick application and got to play with our soon to be new daughter.When we finally decided to take her, Andria went through the paperwork and took her time going over our babys vaccines and what is left to still get vaccinated. This place took care of so much before we got her. We were so happy about that. The process was easy and went by without a problem. They even helped us with the remaining meds for her kitty cold! We absolutely love how thoughtful the staff is here! We were so happy that we bought everything that we needed there. A large carrier, litter box, and food. Anything that out little baby needs we will buy from here. Thank You Andrea!

I made mistake about parking, I left a review message for another business. I visited pet shelter speak LA Pitchfork companion animal village to donate my dogs medication. I looked around, all animals in very good conditions. I didnt visit Adopt and shop Lakewood center. Before I was on Lakewood ctr.mall, good area

I already adopted 4 cats from here. I love all of them. If you adopt older cats be sure to read about how to treat cats properly and give them plenty of indoor exercise. Same goes for kitties. Older ones need to adapt to a new home they really miss their older owners.

Adopted my kitten Bella from here yesterday. The process was super easy, it was my first time adopting a pet and I loved how helpful the staff was. They keep the animals clean and in great condition. My Bella is doing great in her new home and my husband and I are so happy with her.

Looks like a nice little (Emphasis on little. Dont expect petsmart.) shop. I browsed the merchandise and it all looked like nice, high end product with a high focus on pet health... no Pedigree dog chow here I imagine. I like that their adoptable animals are all rescues, and they offer some great promotions for health/safety procedures for your dog such as chipping. The only reason I mark them down a bit is that their selection is significantly limited by their size. This wont be your one stop shop for all your pet needs, its more of a place to grab a few specialty items and go.

Great pet shop, full of rescues! They save animals from local shelters to help them find a forever home. They are honestly the sweetest people. They care for each pet, I highly reccomend.

My dog came to get a groom and she looked so cut after and they even put little bows in her hair. The workers are very nice and my sisters friend works here and said she loves it

This place is amazing. The staff are kind, very knowledgeable, and obviously love their work and the animals in their care.I adopted a 3 year old male cat, named Ghost, today and my entire experience was awesome. They gave me his entire medical history from birth and knew so much about him. I was also given a voucher for a free exam at my local vet as well as a lot of coupons and discounts on all of his future needs. Plus, all money spent here goes back to the Adopt and Shop charity. Ill definitely be buying everything for him here.*Ive read some negative reviews about this place and yes, the place gets really crowded; you may have to wait; and the adoption fees are NOT refundable (The money goes to charity). Remember that this is a small adoption charity shop that also provides services and pet supplies, not Petsmart, so be patient. If youre in a hurry, go in during the week in the middle of the day. This mall is crowded and people, with kids or not, want to stop in and look at the dogs and cats.

I adopted a puppy, from Adopt and Shop, in July. I was looking for a dog that was about 4 or 5 years old. I really didnt want a puppy, but when I saw Faline, now Bailey, I knew she was the one for me. She looked a lot like my dog, of 12 years, that had just passed away. The person, that helped me, was verify nice and helpful. She told me all about the puppy and helped us get to know each other. Bailey was a very shy scared little girl. She has come a long way with training and more exposure to people and places. She is my buddy and I take her everywhere with me that dogs are welcome.I recommend you check out this shop. The staff is great and the fur babies are adorable.

I appreciate that this store attempts to help find forever homes for these animals, but the kittens being displayed smelled foul and they were stepping all over heavily soiled litter that very obviously hadnt been changed that day. Animals from the animal shelter are also less expensive and adequately taken care of.

Goodness! I admit, Ive never been here, but the photos are gorgeous, and what a brilliant idea to get rescue dogs adopted. They get two thumbs up and five stars from me. And that one photo of the tiny scruffy dog with the big ears just melts my heart. I currently have three dogs in my little apartment, one foster and a hospice dog as well as my personal dog, or Id go get that little cutie in a heartbeat! I personally know from experience how hard it is to find homes for rescue dogs. These people have come up with a beautiful alternative to the evil pet stores that sell puppy mill dogs. Keep rockin hard, yall. And thank you for what youre doing. Peace, Love, and WOOF!

All was okay, and they let me play with the kittens; but the kittens were on sale for $25. I had my heart set on purchasing one (because when will you catch a deal like that again?); but on the signs, and when I went to go see them the first time with my brother, never did I see the signs mention that you are required to buy the food there. Bringing the carrier and a collar isnt a big deal, because whos going to walk down the street with a cat in their hands? But I bought everything for him at home. Food, litter, a bed, an assortment of toys, a food and water bowl, etc, and I came there today with the carrier ready. I planned to buy the collar after I got him so I could choose an adjustable one thats suited for him. Two different ladies than the last time. They mentioned to me about having the food, and I was a bit confused because this wasnt mentioned before. So I asked for the price and came to find out that it was more expensive than that kitten itself; which made me a tad disappointed. Especially for the size of the food. $29.99? Really? Its not a total big deal, but the part I felt upset about is that the lady whom I was talking to the most wasnt being compassionate or empatheitc. She continued to tell me, Well next time you should be better prepared for when you get a cat. over and over, and it was rude. I was not acknowledged about the food requirement, and if I had known properly, I wouldve been better financially; instead of being made a fool out of. I was prepared already. But the requirement should be a mandatory thing to tell someone when theyre interested in a kitten, before they think about adoption.Need to work on their empathetic skills; but overall, I felt like a fool. Buying cat food, or they stay and get sent to a kill shelter? What a bazaar option.

My boyfriend adopted a dog from here a few months ago and he is the best dog ever! They set us up with everything we needed, the dog was fixed, microchipped, had his puppy boosters up to date, and they gave us some medicine for a little kennel cough that he had. Great place overall and I recommend it to anyone looking to adopt a dog or cat (or puppy or kitten!)

Just left the shop tried to get my dog microchipped, my eight-month-old puppy and they could not do it because she was too hyper but got all of her nails trimmed the day before and she did fine but was unsuccessful today! Im sorry its that youre not professional at all or trained right! But youve been microchip being for six years yeah right!!

Want to come in and meet pets and animals who need new homes? This is the place. Its a little tricky because you dont have much time to see how your animal is going to get along with another animal in there and the adoption fees are a little hefty for not being refundable even if the animal doesnt work out for your home (which does happen sometimes- just because two animals get along in a store doesnt mean they will once theyre home even with work). I wish there was a trial period, but I understand theyre trying to either fund their service or get the animals a home so Im not even mad about it. Everyone there is really caring and they seem like they take care of the animals much better than a shelter. My dogs favorite treats are also sold here for cheaper than I can get them on Amazon! Yay!

They have the cutest little kittens. If you go when they are having an adoption special you can get a fixed and chipped pet for a great price.

I have only walked in and looked around, the animals look clean and healthy, there seems to be an abundance of things pet owners may want to keep their newly adopted family members happy & healthy. The employees seem to be very concerned about animals in general.

Are first time take baby get his nail clips. They where good . But my poor baby he meow usually he doesnt.

So many problems with this place. They had informed me that my puppy was healthy and over her cold and had all her medications for her cold, well they were wrong, my vet told me they didnt give her as much antibiotics that a puppy would require to rid of a kennel cough so that is why my puppy has had it and never got over it. The adopt and shop had informed me that she had all of her shots, again theyre wrong, she needs a booster shot for the vaccine for her kennel cough called bordatella. Turns out she cant get that booster shot with actually being sick with kennel cough which is why she never got the booster cause she was never fully healthy enough for it. I love this puppy very much, I have to force feed her a pill once a day and a syrup based antibiotic every 4 to 6 hours to help reduce her coughing and rid of this horrible kennel cough that she hasnt gotten over. Thanks to this kennel cough she hasnt had any want to eat food,nor play and has been very lethargic. Thankfully to my vet and her antibiotics shes looking a lot better, eating continuously and will be healthy in no time. If I would have been informed that she didnt get her full antibiotic set for her kennel cough I would have started her on it right away.not only have I had the misinformation from these untrained people that shouldnt be handling animals but yet they also took my personal info, address, info on the fact we have adopted sandy the puppy, and a new little kitten and said sandy was malnourished and wasnt being taken care ofand reported us to seacca. They informed seacca that we have a new puppy and adopted a kitten recently which they are the only ones who know that we have a kitten and puppy. No one else knows whatsoever. Seacca was polite enough to inform us on a brief description on the call after seeing our pets happy,well fed and relaxed on the couch.he also informed us that we never once ever got a call on mistreating our animals and is shocked that we did after seeing our pets healthy and happy.Thanks adopt and shop for harassing me, my family and our animals for no reason. I will be handling this with the help of witnesses who were involved when seacca approached us thinking we werent caring for our pets. Dont trust adopt and shop with your personal info!!and dont trust the information they give on the animals that you adopt.

My parents dog passed away and they wanted another dog so we went to Adopt and shop. We were originally went to look for a beagle and since they did not have one they told us that SEACCA had one. They picked one out not the beagle, and took her home. She passed away after a week from kennel cough. They were so heart broken that when I went back to Adopt and shop and they suggested the cutest little maltepoo and I brought my parents back and they fell in love! She has been with them a year in July and she is the cutest thing with the best personality. She was named Quinn but now Ruby and she has learned to sit up and ask for her cookieEveryone at A & S was so kind and they seem to really enjoy the work they are doing. But we have to spread the word that the rescues make the best pets!
