Rented two snowmobiles from them, website says equipment is replaced every two years. One sled had over 5,000 miles on it, didnt run that great compared to the other identical machine, third year in the fleet (owner admitted they held it over waiting on new arrivals / brand switch and it would be sold soon). Ended up breaking down about 8 miles deep in the forest at Vails pass. Turned out starter gear wedged very tight into fly wheel after they helped me troubleshoot over the phone. Lucky I had tools on in my truck and am fairly mechanical, so 17 miles round trip to my truck and back while my wife and 9 year old daughter were stranded I got it running again. Lucky the weather was nice and it happened mid day so I could get it fixed and back to the truck before dark. Understood equipment breaks down, this would have been a 5 star rating, but it took a good bit of negotiating to get the owner to give any equitable adjustment for me fixing their rental equipment and the downtime caused due to no fault of my own. Ill rent again from them, but Id highly recommend to carry a variety of tools with you (we packed a backpack and strapped it on) and a tow strap just in case. If you are not somewhat handy at fixing things, Id recommend renting where you plan to enjoy a rental toy so help is nearby in case an issue comes up although the rates are higher.Other than the break down, guys were helpful loading, explaining the operation and things to do and not to do with the machines.All in all, had a blast riding snow mobiles, cant wait to ride again.

Extreme rentals provides a great service and the machines they have are in good condition and feel very safe. They also do their best to provide excellent customer service even in not ideal situations like late returns or damage to the rented equipment. Also their prices are very reasonable for the fun experience you get. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for some outdoor motor powered fun.

Drove from Wisconsin with 3 buddies rented 2-Summits 1-Alpha & 1-Snowpro. The Alpha happen to have a track issue day 2. That wasn’t a problem for these guys. They personal had another sled driven to our Air b&b in Silverthorne. That’s 64miles to make sure we didn’t skip a beat. I recommend this company to anyone ever trying to find a good deal & good sleds.

Definitely call Lucas for all your off-road needs. We rented 3 utv’s 2 4-wheelers and a dirtbike. All equipment ran flawless. He’s a really good guy and very thorough in the rental process. What a splendid experience we had renting a jet ski from Extreme Rentals to take on our Lake Powell vacay! The ski was in top-notch condition and completely won us over to Seadoos. We formerly owned Kawasaki and Yamaha skis, but this Seadoo was stable in all water conditions with plenty of power.The staff at Extreme Rentals are pleasant and knowledgeable, and Lucas was especially helpful with his advice. We did experience a damaged wear ring on the last day from debris in the water at the marina, but had a full week of fun in the sun. As an added bonus when we returned the rental we are met by what looked like a NASCAR pit crew. They were polite, efficient and easy to work with.We will definitely recommend this business to all our friends.

Rented 2 sleds and a trailer (and avalanche packs due to the extreme snow conditions) for the day on Friday. I cant imagine the experience going more smoothly, from reservation to pickup to drop off! Both machines were in tip-top condition and performed flawlessly, the guys there were friendly and knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had everything we needed to have a great day. Highly recommended and Ill be back for sure!

This poor rating is mainly due to the post riding experience. We had a great time on their snowmobiles and it was worth the daily rental price. However, their website says specifically we do not nitpick regarding damages, which as a customer I liked to hear. While riding the machines, they slowly tipped over and the side panel plastic had a couple cracks and one of them had a cracked windshield. Even though it did not affect the machines operations and barely hindered the cosmetic appearance, they deemed those cracks worthy of a FULL panel and windshield replacements costing us more in damages than the rental cost. In my opinion, this was nitpicky and turned a $350 two day rental into a $850 headache expense. It is also frustrating the damage waiver they offer is $35 but still has a massive $1000 deductible. At least glad I didnt purchase that. They also purchase their replacement parts directly from the manufacturer which comes at a premium. I found the same parts on a credible website for 20% less. As the consumer of these parts, this was very frustrating to see when they could have saved me a couple hundred dollars from the other site. You will have a lot of fun on these machines and it is probably more fun than doing a guided tour, but be EXTREMELY careful or youll find yourself reaching for your savings account when the fun is over.

These guys came highly recommended and they didnt fail to impress. They were friendly, professional and helpful. Everything from the phone call to reserve the 2 UTVs we rented to pick up to drop off was smooth. The machines ran well and they gave us advice on where to ride. They are a great group of guys!

These guys are the best! I picked them out based on their reviews and they are no joke. We rented 3 dirt bikes, 2 atvs, and a diesel truck for a VERY reasonable price. We caused some minor damage to one of the ATVs but they were very fair and transparent in the repair process. We will be back!

Rented two Trail Sleds and a trailer from ER. They were there ready when I picked up the sleds and the process was super fast and simple. We rented three snowmobiles for five days. We did not have any problems with them. They were comfortable and plenty fast! The heated grips were a nice touch! The guys at the shop were friendly and helpful. The snowsuits and boots they rented to us were great. We never got cold even in 9 degree temperatures! They dont rent gloves so be sure and take your own if you are snowmobiling! We dont have any complaints with Extreme Rentals. In fact, we hope to get to use them again next year.

Rented 6 ATVs with a group of friends for a bachelor party. The staff was excellent to work with throughout the entire process. One ATV had a very rare clutch malfunction on a trail 40min away from extreme rentals. I called the extreme rentals and told them what happened and they immediately had employee drive out a replacement ATV. I was able to continue my 2 days of riding with the bachelor party. Their responsiveness and excellent customer service is why I give them four stars and plan to do all my future renting with them.

We live in Kansas and my family and I have been Colorado mountain ATV riders for a few years. First time to ride in the Denver area. Price was the best we found. (As low as we found anywhere we have ridden in Colorado.) Took only 20 minutes to get 5 ATVs rented. Very pleased that they took pictures as we rented, so there would be no questions about damage when we got back. (We also always take pictures.) All the ATVs were clean and worked perfect on the mountain trails. Took 20 minutes to turn the ATVs in. Four people helped us check them back in! If we ever are in the Denver area we will be back.

Rented a jet ski to take to Lake Powell. The ski was modern, well maintained and ran like a champ! The price for the week was extremely fair compared to other rental places and less than half the price of rentals at the lake. We ended up putting a couple chips on the ski and the guys were graciously fair in the cost to repair them. I go to Lake Powell just about every year and will be renting skis from these guys every time.

I rented a Ranger at for a camping trip in 2016. The staff was super helpful! Made us feel like a VIP. We are going camping again 2017, we are definitely renting for Extreme again! Great equipment, great rates!

My girlfriend and I rented an ATV for the weekend an extreme sports rental made the process real easy. The pricing was great! Pete and the guys there were real helpful. They provided friendly fast and Speedy Service as soon as I arrive to return the ATV they were already outside unloading it off of my truck before I could get out I really enjoyed the process with them and look forward to renting from them again.

The customer service was great. Pete did a good job of explaining the rental process and made some suggestions about the best equipment to do the job we needed. The Ranger we rented was in great shape and performed like a new vehicle. I noticed that they give each customer their undivided attention!

WOW! This is the third year in a row we have rented jet skis from Extreme Rentals and there is nowhere else we would ever rent from! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and since we were traveling quite a way with the jet skis, they even called us the night before pick up to tell us they would be ready first thing in the AM so we could get on our way early! The pricing is considerably less when compared to the pricing at our destination rental shop. That combined with the top notch service from the employees, Extreme Rentals has our business for life!(and, I sadly don’t have a Google account so I am writing this from my son’s account) :-)

Both tires on my 1 day dirt bike rental were embarrassingly worn. The back tire considerably affected uphill performance. I complained and was told the [bikes with] better tires go to multi-day rentals. Would have refused it upon pickup but a buddy handled the pickup. Shame on me

We had a two day rental that we took out Friday morning at 9:00. I got called into work and couldnt ride Saturday so we returned the two bikes Saturday at 9:30. They charged us the full two days because it wasnt in at 9:00 AM. The 30 minutes late ended up costing us $250. Never go hear. They tried telling us if we wrote a good google review they would give us $60 bucks off our next rental. Hell no, stay away.

We showed up for our ATVs expecting to get 400s but ended up upgrading to 500s which was definitely worth it. They showed us how to use the ATVs which came in handy when some of us didnt know how to put them in reverse. We werent able to turn them in on time but after calling them they told us it would not be a problem that someone would be there for us when we showed up. Overall good service... thumbs up.

Great place to rent dirt bikes and side-by-side s near Denver. Fair prices, good service and solid machines.

Rented 2 Quads and a Side by Side for 1 day. Their pricing was competitive until they nickel and dimed for every scratch and ding. We ended up paying over $700 for less than 10 hours of having the ATVs. We went out on a trail THEY recommended and returned the ATVs that night which cost another $50 and there was no broken, cracked or non-working piece of any of the ATVs yet they decided to charge an additional $200 for minor wear and tear. They acted like the vehicle was a brand new Ferrari that was for road use only instead they are renting out used ATVs that have already been rolled and scratched numerous times but still charge you for them. I would recommend going with one of their competitors who some of us have used in the past unlike these guys your price upfront is what you pay for unless you break something.

Extreme Rentals has a very friendly and knowledgeable staff, and is likewise well stocked on equipment and complimentary gear such as free helmets, gas cans, and we were even given a trailer to haul them around on. The two CRF 230s we rented were very clearly well maintained, and performed exceptionally on the trails out at Rampart Range. Great machines and a staff that is willing to work with you makes Extreme Rentals the go-to-place when it comes to off-road equipment. I was glad to give them my business and will surely be a repeat customer on my next visit to Colorado.

I just rented for the second time from Extreme Rentals for the Labor Day weekend. This time I rented two units with a trailer. My second experience with the staff from Extreme was just as pleasant and easy as the first on Memorial day weekend. The return of the units and trailer was just as fast and smooth as the day of the rental. I read many of reviews speaking about time for rental and return but wonder if these individuals are just complaining becasue they showed up at the same time as several others did and had to wait. Anyways I would highly recommend Extreme Rentals to anyone who asks. Unless I purchase a couple of units myself I will be doing business again with them.Alan

I have rented from these guys 3 times know and have had great experiences each time. I am wanting to buy a set of ATVs in the near future and have been trying out different types each time we rent. Daniel has been very patient with us and has given us recommendations on what to try and each time weve learned the capability of each bike. They have been very clear about specific damage responsibilities from the start and I wouldnt expect any less. Just like if you go rent a car - if you break it you buy it! DUH!I gave their service a 2 simply because it seems that this is a small family business with a couple guys helping out and the times we have rented are always on holiday weekends and they are usually slammed trying to get everyone packed and on their way. I cant fault them for that as I appreciate and try to stay away from Corporate BS as much as possible! The only thing I would say is try to get a part time greeter/organizer for those days?This last time I rented 8/1-4/12 (labor day weekend) the bike I had reserved came back from the previous renter damaged. Daniel gave me a call the day before I was to pick up to let me know they might not get the parts to repair in time and what did I prefer as a back up plan. Well, long story short they were not able to get that bike repaired (holiday weekend) so they gave me my second choice bike plus a free day AND a discount for the next time we rent! I have rented from Daniel many times. Every time I picked up a snowmobile it has been in excellent shape, rides flawlessly. Always fair on prices and makes sure you have the gear you need to have a safe trip. Yes, the customer service on the phone and at the shop is short and limited but when you deal with what they do on a daily its understandable. Just keep doing what you do Daniel! And I will be in soo for anot her sled!

Rented a polaris 900 side by side atv from extreme rentals for one week to take along on our trip to moab. When we showed up to load it up they rolled out a beautiful brand new machine with 2 miles on it! Had a blast driving it for a week. Returned it needing a wash no problems. Great staff and machines. Business needs more signage on the frontage road, hard to locate the first time.

Friendly staff helped me load and unload the ATV. Easy rental process and the ATV ran great.

I have rented from Extreme Rentals 3 times, and I feel like they do a good job in the rental business. Their machines have always been in good shape and weve loved the fun we have had.On our 3rd time renting from Extreme Rentals, two of our snowmobiles got in a collision and caused $1600 of damage.The insurance has a $1000 deductible, so it only kicks in if you do some serious damage. If you total a rental without insurance, just know that you can be on the hook for the retail price of what you rented.We also got stuck in traffic coming back on I-70, so we paid a hefty $250 late fee for being 45 minutes late with our 4 snowmobiles.I still might rent from Extreme Rentals, but Ill be more cautious about the equipment and arriving back on time.I think my next rental will probably be on location so I dont have to deal with towing, loading trailer, and late fees.
