I have has terrible luck with my computer for the year that I have had it, but Joe was able to diagnose everything for me and pointed me in the right direction on what to get to meet my needs. FORGET BEST BUY! I went to the geek squad for a minor repair. They wanted $100 to even look at the computer which was more than the cost of the repair. At Joes computer I received quality service and they repaired my computer for less than $100 based on their expertise. I brought in an old Surface for an upgrade, they did everything possible but it was not fixable. They did not charge me for all the time they put into it and I am grateful. They are very knowledgeable, down to earth and not out to take advantage of you. We need to take advantage of this kind of local shops and not the big box stores. Spilled coffee on my new laptop (Acer Nitro 5) and ended up calling on thanksgiving to leave a message for the next day. Joe answered the phone and said I could bring my laptop by, but when he found out that I was going to Uber there, (because my car broke down a few days before) he offered to come pickup my laptop that same day! Kiki found that I fried my motherboard, but they had the exact same laptop in store and were able to just switch my hard drive into that for a couple hundred bucks less than what I would’ve spent if I bought the laptop somewhere else. They let me arrange a payment plan too, which is awesome because I’m a college student with a broken car! Joe and Kiki were both super helpful, super knowledgeable and huge life savers :)

Joe and his partner fixed my Dell Laptop (with its serious malfunctioning monitor) in less than a day. They did a thorough inspection of hardware and software and made valuable suggestions. AND they were inexpensive. I highly recommend them if you need computer or computer peripheral help.

Incredible customer service. I built a new gaming rig last week and it got knocked over by my cat. Stopped turning on.Brought my tower in and expected the repair to be a few days, they called me in a few hours and said my cpu knocked out of socket. Not only did they fix it and add missing screws to my motherboard they also cleaned my very dusty video card. Price was more than reasonable, I will always bring my machine to this place. These guys are my go to for laptop repair! Ive been here two times for different laptop issues. Of course my laptop wouldnt do what I needed at the last critical moment for work needs. Joe will work diligently to complete the job and his pricing is very fair.I took my gaming PC to Joe to clone my 2TB HDD to a 4TB SSD. Some of my components are a little dated and the previous installation of my HDD complicated the installation of the new SSD. Even though the job turned out to be much more complicated than originally thought, Joe worked hard to get the job done while keeping me updated through the process. My PC was successfully upgraded and now runs beautifully. I highly recommend Joes Lakewood Computer and I plan on going to them with any future repairs.

Had strange problem with two towers/ moniters stopping on same day. Triple checked all, but no go. Thinking $$$$ to buy new. Then took both towers to Lakewood (from Mentor) bc saw Joes reviews. Amazing!!! Thoughtful, clear, patient people. Helped me on the spot, explained whats what..and cleaned up towers, even helped load car. But most of all BOTH TOWERS ARE WORKING AGAIN. Many thanks. I have had many computer technicians in the various other cities I have lived in, but he is far above any of them. On top of it, his prices are unbiievable. Just because it might be on the counter for several days our hours he only charges one for the time he spends working on it. He has a large selection of reconditioned equipment. I have worked with him dealing with my computer tower, my printer, and-virus, and malware. What more can I say about the finest computer technician in Lakewood. Joes Lakewood Computer did a great job installing a new operating system on my computer. I was very nervous making the switch from my old operating system which had been limping along, but they listened to my questions and concerns and had what seemed to be logical and experienced solutions. In addition to the new operating system I had them perform the additional services of transferring my files and reinstalling Microsoft Office using my original activation license. Joes Lakewood Computer owner and staff also set the computer up with an extra Internet browser that I had mentioned and with desktop shortcuts that I had on the old operating system, which saved me time. After I took my newly formatted computer home and had a problem with the way I was hooking my monitor and TV up to my computer, they helped me problem-solve and advised a solution that worked. Later I had a problem getting the computer to recognize my printer, and after several unsuccessful attempts to solve the problem myself, I called for advice. Joe himself bent over backwards to help me, and with patience and persistence helped me get my printer/scanner/copier working with the new operating system. My experiences with Joes Lakewood Computer have been great; and I loved the fact that they could help me to determine that my 6 1/2 year old computer would work perfectly well with a new operating system, instead of having to buy a new computer.

Life savers! My old laptop was dying and not charging at all. Down to 55% battery life. Joe and Kiki (sp?) were able to transfer all my files and documents and re-install all my Office applications seamlessly on a new (to me) PC. Brought the old laptop in at 6:30 on a Friday night and was able to pick up replacement laptop at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Stellar service and very detail oriented. I traded in my old laptop and recd $$ off on my purchase of the replacement PC. Highly recommend!
