We got the Pontoon for $60 for 4 hours it was fun. Extra gas helpful good service kind and friendly definitely would do it again!

Went to Bill’s a couple of days ago. Boats are there at the marina but looks like nothing else is there. I spoke to a local near the dock and said that the place was closed and hadn’t seen anyone there during the Covid times

Still looks the same they had snacks and worms at a great price

Love going here the prices are high but Ive been going here since Ive been a little child. Its really nice to see it still going strong. Even if we dont catch fish I still come back 🙃Would come out more often but their boats are sometimes broke down. We use the platoons but theyre not often running if they are there is only one. Its about 100+ for a few hours. It used to be you could rent it all day. Now its cut into two different time frames with a raised price. You can still get your fishing license there. They still have the trout that they raise. They also still have the old school cars 😍 so not much has changed since Bill has passed. His kids are good at keeping his legends 😁 going.❣️ Fishing off the dock is also fun. And its not too expensive. So if you want to have fun grab a picnic basket in your fishing poles.

Please never close down!Anyone visiting... dont be put off by the broken-down docks, or debris. Its not a country club, and the prices are so reasonable, and the lake so beautiful... nothing else will matter.The small 4-person pontoon boat seemed in need of attention, such as peeling paint, bare wood flooring and rusty deck chairs... we did hesitate a moment, wondering if it was seaworthy. We said, What the hey! Its a beautiful day! Lets go for it! So glad we did.The motor was strong, and we tooled around the little island, stopped and caught a couple little fish (so colorful==admired for a moment, and tossed back in the lake.)WE HAD A TOTAL BLAST! Please never close down, Bill and David, and please, people. give them your patronage to ensure this diamond-in-the-rough sticks around!!!

Amazing experience. My son and I agreed it was the best day ever! The Fishing was amazing. We got the large pontoon. Way affordable and David was great. My Girlfriend said hes the kind of person that reminds you there is still good in the world. Highly recommend.

Fun place for trout fishing. They have a great fishing dock with provided tables and chairs. They also have a cool little shop with all sorts of snacks and fishing items. It does look a little rough, but it really is a good spot to fish. Have not rented a boat from them yet, but thats next on the list.

Referred to the boathouse from McCords military information center. I wanted to fish at American Lake and was told McChord occupied the entire lake and Bills boathouse was the only entrance to the lake for a fee of 2.00. The boathouse had a very narrow road, no parking and a crowded clustered dock. I didnt get out of the car. Did not like what I saw.😧

People there are very nice. The lake is beautiful, Oh the houses are speechless but lol in my opinion Im not a big fan of expensive properties. I look more what GOD has given us! Nature!Amen!Good Bless!

Not a single bite let alone fish. And I catch fish out of this lake(American) all the time. Also, theyre not open until 10am and there is no apparent place to pay when the attendant/owner is not apparent. And the docks felt soggy. Not what Id expect for $4.25 per person. Ive read all kinds of great reviews, but I was not too impressed when I went out.

Quiet location for family fishing. Bring a cooler. Few amenities.

David was very helpful, it was my 1st time there row boat rentals were priced good if you have your own motor. $20/ all day BUT $75 / 4HRS FOR THE BOATS WITH MOTORS OR MORE FOR PONTOON BOATS.. GREAT BIG LAKE CLEAR WATER.

You can rent boats farley cheap for the day. They provide life vest for everyone or bring your own and provide gas. You can fish right off the docks with your own fishing pole or they will provide you with it and its farley cheap. Inside of the boat house is a lot of history of how it got started(amazing). They have a little store inside the boat house prices are very reasonable.

Great little dock to catch rockbass, perch and even trout when the sun starts to go down. Never seems over crowded.

Awfully sad that the owner is using the profits of a fun, family friendly service to contribute to the anti-disability and anti-LGBTQ group JWP. Ill head elsewhere, especially if I want to be able to assist my grampy in the bathroom!
