I love this shop. The team is super friendly and truly care about their customers. They’ve helped me every step of the way with this pesky two month long issue that would come and go with my car. The team worked with me so that we could catch the issue while it was happening and finally get to the bottom of it. Thank you to everyone at the shop for giving me my sanity back :)
Took my truck in for a 200k mile $79 “vehicle health inspection” specifically to answer whether I could expect another 100k miles, have the oil changed and fix an oil leak, see what repairs they recommend and to assess the suspension because my ride got a bounce in it all of a sudden. They were too busy to return a phone call and text, so I stopped in in person and they couldn’t see me for another two days. No problem. They had the truck for 3-4 hours and texted a report recommending way more work than was necessary…Oil leak was from the rear main seal - no fix so deal with it.Oil change is going to cost $84 just for the oil, before filter and labor fees - no thanks! Can’t expect this truck to last another 100k miles, but here’s $5k worth of work we recommend - no thanks! They also didn’t even have an explanation as to why. They said that my brakes were 1mm in the rear and 4mm in the front. Well I replaced the rears today and the rears measured 4, 3, 3, 4. Fronts all measured over 10mm so I didn’t replace them - crooks. Also recommended power steering, brake and transfer case flushes. Well they’ve all been serviced recently and all fluids still looked brand new honestly.Recommended a fuel filter, new exhaust system and that I have a 4x4 shop replace the suspension all around.I won’t trust this shop again, and wish I could have gotten a refund - they didn’t fix my oil leak, change my oil or solve my bouncy ride issue. They essentially reminded me to change my fuel filter and that rear brakes were due to replace soon - on top of some expensive unnecessary work on a truck that is on its last leg (in their opinion). Weak!
I had an amazing experience the team at Pickering was super professional, communicated timely and did great work. I am so impressed, this was my first experience and I won’t take my cars anywhere else. I glad they are part of Itrade Colorado.
Quality work, very convenient location, and soul-saving technology (I only had to talk to someone on the phone one time during my extensive week long repair; everything else was text and/or email, hallelujah!). The employee I dealt with was quite jovial which I hope means that employees are treated well. If my car wasnt a hybrid I would have gone somewhere cheaper but if you can afford it or you also have a hybrid then go here.
Perfection from start to finish! Professional & intelligent service. The manager is very smart & able to explain everything well. The waiting room is a delight! Icey cold water, comfy chairs & plenty of table space, plus very clean! Cant say enough positives. Ill return & highly recommend Pickerings!
I love the professionalism and knowledge the entire staff demonstrates. Jessica as always helped create such an easy going and pleasant experience. I would never take my well loved 1995 Toyota Tercel any other place for service.Pickering is TOP-NOTCH!!!
Pickering’s has been my go to car shop for years and they always have good service and do quality work. I highly recommend them!
Pickerings is an amazing and friendly auto service center who genuinely cares for their customers. I took my car into the Lakewood shop for an oil change and some wheel services and it was a job well done. I appreciate the call to keep me updated on the status of my vehicle and an overview of all services, both those requested as well as additional services found. Any additional services were clearly explained with a description of what was needed and how necessary the service was. The offer allowed me to feel in control of the work done on my car. This place has great communication and service and I am certain I will bring my car back in the future!
Pickerings is efficient and keeps track of needed repairs or maintenance.
I took my Lexus in for A/C repair or Check why my car blows Hot air and Agreed to a $100 inspection fee well they said it can be a Number of things so they had a Minimum 4 hour fee to look at it so Now Im $500 in and they recommend a New Condenser pump but if I bought that it would bring my bill to $1100 and they Did NOT Guarantee that would be the issue..my Complaint is why Guess we as the Public have no money to Spare to Buy this and that and yet that isnt the Problem I took my Car somewhere else I feel there Rates are Very Exspensive and Parts as well I called around and got a Better parts rate and Hourly rate at another Shop ! If you have money to toss away well this is the place for you. THANKS for nothing I am $500 down and still have Hot air blowing when the A/C is turned on its a Very Exspensive Lesson and Review..Recent Update 3 days Later Im having problems Now with my Charging system something totally different so whatever they Checked damaged my Charging system stalled out in the middle of the Road twice now dead battery and now the battery dont Charge!!!!!
Arrived at 8:00am, customers were lined up. Friendly Service Reps moved the line through fast. They got my truck in right away, I had a estimate to replace my Alternator in 20 minutes.
Pickering is the place to go for all your automotive needs. Mallory is very helpful, professional and super friendly and nice! Thank you for taking care of Jeeps you have a customer for life!
Pickering’s was very organized, friendly, on time, and thorough with my 2005 Hyundai. There was a transmission issue that they took care of for me at a great price and I’m so grateful! They also called a Lyft for me to and from the shop back to my house for free! I will absolutely be returning!!
Pickerings is the best. Family owned business only use premium parts and the do the job tiny snd right
I had taken my car to an auto body shop to get some work done after an accident. When I brought it to them there were no warning lights on but while they had it suddenly one of the warning lights for the seat belt system came on. They had my car for almost 2 weeks and for about a week the auto body shop was trying to figure out why the warning light was on. After a couple of weeks the light came back on. I was determined not to return my car to the auto body shop and so I had heard good things about Pickerings and decided to take my car there. It was the best decision that I could have made for this situation. They thoroughly checked the electrical system and found that a repair that I had done at a dealership was the source of the problem in quickly fixed it in the warning light issue was resolved in the car seems to be working perfectly since then. They made accommodations for me when I had to do something for work where I needed a vehicle and went above and beyond to try to make sure that my employment wasnt affected as a result of the car repair. I highly recommend Pickerings as I had heard good things before i had them do work on my car. Now I am convinced after having been a customer that they are the best. I recommend them without reservation.
Pickerings Auto took such excellent care of me and my car (Audi) today - I have had my car repaired at this location before and it was a great experience, but today was above and beyond. They provided a rental, finished my car quickly, gave very friendly and professional service, and best of all... I had lost my wedding ring in my car and they found/returned it! I am so grateful to all of the Pickerings staff - highly recommend, they are wonderful and a place you can trust in and rely on!
Had a great experience with Jessica. Very understanding and friendly. Had my timing belt replacement. Also a water pump. Thank you
My car broke down and Pickerings was right down the road, so I had it towed to them. Wow...they are super expensive compared to other garages. I ended up moving the car to another garage after calling around for a second estimate. Even after paying Pickerings $100 estimate fee and a second tow, I still saved hundreds of dollars by moving the car for work elsewhere. ( IT was a hassle!) I hear Pickerings does really good work with a good warranty.... So Ill give them 3 stars for that. My beef is that I didnt want to pay almost 50% more on an already expensive auto repair. Money is tight for most of us these days and I need quality work with a competitive price which I found elsewhere. Taking your car to Pickerings is great if you want to overpay for labor, parts and shop fees.
I have brought cars to this shop several times over the last 20-ish years. Theyre always polite and helpful, theyll give a thorough explanation of what needs to be done, and they do good work. They originally won me over with their honesty--my car was there for an engine rebuild and after the mechanic got in there and checked things out they called and said, Turns out the engines just dirty. Well clean it up & youre good to go. Integrity matters.
Pickering is my lifeline. They took care of me and my old Chrysler (RIP) and now they’re helping me get work done on my Subaru. I really appreciate how thorough they are, and how easy the process always is. Always a very helpful staff, friendly from the first phone call to picking up your vehicle. I honestly have never gotten a second opinion on any repairs they’ve recommended to me so I don’t know how their prices compare to others. But for me, it’s worth it to go to a trustworthy business and pay more than have to deal with a shop that isn’t as clean, isn’t as friendly, and isn’t as easy to communicate with. But you may want to shop around on prices. They always run a full diagnostic free of charge and provide an excellent over view of what needs attention and how much it’s going to cost. Nothing shady, and no surprises. My only complaint is that they’re not open on the weekends! For those of us that work business hours Monday-Friday, it’s really tough to arrange an appointment. Opening for a few hours on just Saturday would help SO MANY people! I would hate to go somewhere else because I can’t get my car in on a weekday. Besides that, this place is amazing. So professional and always excellent work. Thanks for everything!
Great customer service. They answered all my questions and finished the car quickly.
Great staff, quick service. In and out on a holiday weekend.
Great service. Prompt and friendly! Easy to communicate with and very responsive. Already have an appt to take our other car.
My catalytic converter was stolen and Mallory and the mechanics at Pickering went above and beyond to explain the circumstances and provide me options for what to do next. They did everything they could to make a tough situation easier for me. I highly recommend!
The appointment was fast and straightforward the people are friendly and repairs were done on time and seem great so far!
Went to go get a coolant leak checked out. Diag came back that I needed brand new radiator. Estimate was overtly high. Even with labor it was too ridiculous. Have to have some honesty. Not only is my radiator not leaking it is in great working order. Got a second opinion. They said radiator was in good health. Fixed the hoses and was good to go. Paid what the job was actually worth. Pretty upset about what I was told at Pickerings. Not sure who owner is. Need to revalue the customer and not be greedy. Parents did business with Pickerings for years. Extremely disappointed, not in the service but the recommended repairs. Lost my business because of astronomical repair prices.
I’m from Michigan and I broke down out there and had to get home. I called all over and this was the only shop that could get me in same day and they did everything they could to get me out of there the next day and they kept their promise!
This company is great. Very good communication and very fast at repairs. They did a great job and im impressed at how they do business. The price was good too. Highly recommended !!
I would recommend Pickerings Auto Service - they did great work on my car and were excellent with communication and service.
To the Mechanic that worked on my vehicle. I sincerely thank you. Excellent work. Done right hands down. Taking a vehicle to an auto shop can be like going to the dentist, except even more uncomfortable. Pickering was great. Everything was really straight forward. Their system is designed to remove any chance of hidden costs. The quote was exactly what I paid, tax included.
Loved working with everyone at Pickerings. It was easier to get in to see them than it was to the Jeep dealership. I compared prices with them and the Jeep dealership and they (Pickerings) were much less expensive for many, if not all, of the repairs.Everything was explained to me in detail, I was treated with respect, and I was allowed to make all the decisions for my car without any pressure. We interacted through a mobile website where I was able to pick and choose what services I wanted to have serviced on that day (oil change, new tires, flush steering column fluid, etc). I chose about 75% of what they recommended. They were cool with it.They definitely earned their 5 stars! If youre on the fence about taking your car there, I say go for it!
UPDATE:I was contacted on Friday by Brandon Pickering, the owner of Pickerings Auto Service. He said he wanted to reach out to me to let me know how things should have happened with Repair Pal. What had happened is that the crew at Pickerings was able to assess that based upon the information I provided, that car would be better serviced by a Subaru dealer than by his establishment. For some reason, the email I should have received informing me that they had recommended going to the dealer was lost. Its not every day that the owner of the company will take the time to contact you, apologize, and explain what happened. I would be more than happy to give Pickerings another try for servicing my car (but, obviously, for a different service). For this reason, I am changing my rating from two stars to five stars. Thank you, Mr. Pickering, for your prompt reply and attention to my situation.***************************************************************************ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was referred to Pickering Auto Service through CarMaxs MaxCare service called Repair Pal. I was impressed with the reviews and chose them to service my vehicle.I filled out the online form on a Monday requesting the earliest opening they had, which was Wednesday. I supplied my name, phone number, and email address.I called Wednesday in the mid afternoon, reaching Jessica. I explained who I was, the information for my car, and was about to ask for a status update when I was interrupted. Jessica let me know she refused to service my car. She also stated someone should have called me to let me know. She wasnt necessarily rude, but she was curt.Jessica didnt offer any explanation or information as to why they were denying to work on my vehicle.I know everyone has a bad day. I my experience with Jessica can be chalked up to that. However, it seems a little less than professional to neglect following up with someone about the status of their vehicle. This is why I am giving them a rating of 2 stars. My interaction with them wasnt the best, but it wasnt the worst, either.
The staff was friendly and communicated well with updates. The service was professional and my car rides much better than before - the day rental was convenient and only 20$! Ill be back here the next time my car needs some attention.
Amazing quality of care! My car had a unique and frustrating problem and Pickering went above and beyond to help fix the issue. They continued to take in my car until the problem was resolved, providing educated guidance along every step of the way. Pickering’s came personally recommended and I’m glad for it - I feel very well taken care of here
Came in for an oil change and ended up with a thorough vehicle inspection, complete with notes and questions. So grateful for the communicative experience. Will definitely be back!
Took four days to fix my fuel pump starter and six fuses, a front desk lady hung up on me, didnt answer my calls when called back, another gentleman was paying for the repairs and they stayed more in touch with our vehicle than us as if it wasnt our vehicle at all anymore once it hit the grounds by them, tow truck guy was very unfriendly, just a plain nightmare. It was scary, uncertain and anxiety riddin. But they did fix my vehicle after all said and done. God bless the man who helped us. But Ill pray for the shop.
Overall acceptable experience.Labor cost = goodPart cost = bad (easily found much cheaper options)Customer Service = mixed. Jessica is a bit crass but everybody else I spoke to was very nice.
The place is spotless, that tells me something. They were polite & friendly called me right away with aquote. And services was fast. I have already recommend them.
Had a brand new transmission installed 4 years ago by a different shop. My vehicles stopped driving and I ended up scanning the system codes. It came up with a transmission sensor that needed to be replaced. A $200 job at most. After charging me $100 to diagnose my vehicle, they had recommended I spend over $4k for them to put in a[nother] new transmission.Needless to say, I got my vehicle out of there fast. The new shop I’m working with is taking care of the actual issue.
Still being communist about masks for over 400 days! Bummer!
Very nice staff and very clean facility
These guys are fast, honest, and competent. It’s not like going to the dealership where you go in for one small thing and they tell you that you really need to spend $2500 to get your car up to par. The address the issues that need addressed and don’t try to grab hold of every penny of your dispensable income.
These guys where awesome was visiting from MO almost 800 miles away had a mystery leak that was actually due to the fact we drove in extreme cold during our trip out and had stopped they checked it out pressure tested the system and didn’t charge me a dime just good wishes on a safe trip home this all after Ford screwed me around great people
Called about an inspection for a new resident getting tags, they pointed me in the right direction in a very courteous, professional manner. Plus, they do Toys for Tots, youve got a customer!!
Fantastic place! Great customer service and fast turn around. They had my car back to me in less than a day. They were very quick to diagnose the issue and call me to let me know what was going on and the cost of the repairs. They stayed in touch with me often throughout the whole process. Will definitely take my car back here the next time I am in need of service.
Pickering’s auto is fantastic and always very clear about work and pricing!!!! Would not take my car anywhere else.
They are so pleasant and professional at the same time. They’re not going to cut corners and they take time to explain findings and reasonings for fixes. In addition, they aren’t trying to take advantage of you and have you fix things that aren’t broken! And they aren’t pushy to get repairs done that can wait a little bit of time! Very very accommodating.
We have done lots of work with Pickerings Auto, Brandon has always been helpful and polite. We enjoy working with him and his staff.
2 for 2 on getting my car worked on here..... Ill definitely be back for more visits when my car needs work
As a first-time car buyer, I really didnt know what I was doing when I purchased an aftermarket warranty along with my vehicle. After getting a health inspection from Pickerings (not my first time doing that, and they do a thorough and complete job of assessing vehicle health), which indicated the need for some expensive work to my cars suspension and engine, I was facing anxiety due to the fact I had no idea how to utilize my warranty. I contacted Pickerings and not only did they let me know that I did not need to contact my warranty company, they informed me that they would handle the entire process for me (re-assessing the vehicle, seeing if I was eligible to be covered by the warranty, contacting the warranty company, handling the payment, and handling the paperwork). The fact that they did that not only surprised me to be quite honest, but it took so much stress away and saved me soooooo much money as opposed to just panicking and paying for everything myself. This is probably my tenth or eleventh time having Pickerings do work on my vehicles, and every time it is phenomenal.
Beware of what they told you. After drop off, it not truth. I have to walk back to get my car to somewhere more honest. BECAREFULL PEOPLE ! WE ARE IN CRISIS, WE DONT NEED WORSE CRISIS AND DISHONEST PEOPLE AT THIS SHOP!!!!
I first gave this place 5 stars they finish my truck when they said they were and the price was ok. But then I picked up my truck took it home and right next morning my truck didnt want to start check engine back on with the same codes they supposedly fixed. Took the truck back to them they kept it for a week charged me 100 more dollars for a wire they said it was bad, pick up the truck and even before I left their shop check engine was still on with the same codes they charged me when it was diagnosed, lady said she was going to delete it and told me to leave the truck again, now they thought it was something else, I didnt agree cause I have paid them 800 dollars already, so I took my truck straight home and the very next morning my truck didnt start, its been broken since I got it out off their shop. What a disappointement I thought this people were professionals.
I took my car in because it would not crank. Not only did they get the car running (starter), but they also noticed that I was missing an engine mount. They ordered the part and installed the mount the next day. All of this was done without hassle from my end as they updated me along the process. I see myself coming back in the future.
I was very impressed with the organization and punctuality demonstrated by Pickerings during this crazy time with social distancing and various businesses limiting their hours or straight up closing! I requested my appointment online after hours (and on the weekend) and received a confirmation next day. Their website and front door both had clear instructions for dropping off your keys to help with social distancing. Less than 10 minutes after drop off, I received a call with an initial estimate. Maybe an hour or so later I received another call with findings and the estimate. They even looked up the available service history on my car to help determine the last time I had certain items replaced, etc. Even though I declined these maintenance interval recommendations, they included them as FYIs on my invoice so I would have that information. Bottom line: super friendly, very quick, and honest. Will definitely be making Pickerings my car place!
I had a good experience when they fixed my starter.
Pickerings made my auto repair experience easy and comprehensive. They have figured out an easy way to get your car and deliver the diagnosis with options to authorize or not; without having to have face to face contact. Thier professionalism and direct pricing make this an establishment I reccommend. When in doubt call them. Trent and Mallory are very nice and informative.
They went above and beyond to help me out. Fixing my vehicle and making sure I was happy was their #1 priority, not making money. Communication was great and they knew what they were doing. I used to work as a mechanic and can definitely say this is my new favorite shop. 10/10 recommend.
Just went in for a simple diagnosis and the whole team from the front desk to the mechanics were super helpful and timely. They did not find anything apparently wrong with my car and therefore did not do any work. They recommended I come back when the problem comes up again or gets worse. I really like that no one pushed me to get services that I may not have needed. You gals and guys just kept it real thanks so much.
Bought a 94 suburban from a non emission county, then i took for emissions and it failed, so i was given a booklet with trusted emissions service providers, with Pickerings close by. So decided to go there to have them do a diagnostic to figure out what needs to be replaced, $400 later they told me the cat was bad and to replace it, it would be $2400. For a cat replacement job... on a 94 suburban, needless to say i was quite taken a back by the prices on that and the diagnostic so i asked where the $2400 comes from, where i was told Colorado was moving to CARB standard and we need a CARB approved cat and they told me they HAD to do OEM and that was somehow $1200. No negotiation. A cursory glance online for CARB approved cats brought up prefab CARB assemblies for $800 even less for just the cat. Being a company for 30+ years id imagine they could get parts supplied even cheaper, so in other words they just didnt want to work on my ****box suburban gave me an egregious quote so id walk, and now Ive been fleeced out of $400 by these scumbag price gougers, what a joke of a company id at least have had some respect for them if they were straight up with me and said they just didnt want to work on it.
Seems over priced. The front end of a 98 odyssey checked for noise. diagnosed as a left upper control arm problem. $50.00 for diagnosis very fair. However wanted $ 500 to replace the part. the part was $75. at auto zone and only took me 49 minutes to replace.they where nice and professional.
Very fast and great service. Had a list of things either needing repair or routine maintenance, and a budget. Malory was very helpful in locking down the best path to take on my budget. Excellent.
Excellent auto shop! I’ve been bringing both of my vehicles here for 6 years and counting. They are very attentive, make my vehicle reliable, can fit me in when needed, and make me feel safe on the roads. They have excellent customer service and emit their family atmosphere to all of their customers. I will continue bringing my vehicles here for years to come. Thank you Pickerings!
Super nice people very nice and helpful, they give really advice instead of trying to take all your money. I went in with a gas tank issue that couldve cost a few grand and they were able to help me get this fixed up for super cheap. they got my car checked out and fixed with all fluid and factory recommend repairs topped off. plus i love the checkered floor and vintage decor
I had a really good experience with this company. Customer service was very friendly and the price was reasonable. All information was given clearly and there are no hidden costs or expenses without my permission. Would recommend to a friend.
Please read this before you decide to hire Pickerings for any automotive service. When I called to book an appointment, the owner and manager spent 30 minutes trying to convince me that what my truck needed was something very small and simple. They quoted me a price of $150-200 to diagnose and fix it. They had my truck for less than 3 hours and called me claiming it needs A BRAND NEW ENGINE. The woman that called me claimed that they were 100% certain that the engine was destroyed, but, for some reason, she could not explain to me how they came to that conclusion. She kept repeating, “I can get you a quote on what it would take for us to do it” and, any time I asked a question, she would tell me, “idk I’ll have the mechanic call you.” Finally I asked if they had checked on what I brought it in there to get diagnosed (broken valve spring on cylinder 5) and she said again “idk the mechanic just determined it needs an engine” and then quoted me $400 to remove the valve cover (6 bolts) to see if I was right....I said I would talk to my personal mechanic (who was out of town) and see what he thinks. I also decided to talk to another 10+ mechanics and local shops just to see if they had any opinions on a verbal diagnosis and they ALL agreed with my presumption. To condense the story (there are many more shady tactics that I’m leaving out), 2 days of researching later, I called to see if I could talk to the owner about the situation. They denied that request and very disrespectfully told me they were closing early for Labor Day weekend and that I needed to come get my truck as soon as possible. I drove an hour out of my way to talk to them and to get my truck. When I got there a manager basically told me I had to pay them $200, because I verbally agreed to that price for a diagnosis (they never even did the cam scope I asked for initially). He proceeded to pretend that they spent FIVE hours on my truck when they didn’t even have it for three hours. The mechanic who stated that the engine was blown came out from the back and got incredibly angry with me and tried to say that he never told me it needed an engine. I spent another 10 minutes asking the manager to provide me proof the engine was damaged, and she kept saying “they aren’t sure, and it needs more diagnosis which could cost as much as an engine so I might as well just replace the engine” (!!!) Obviously I was just laughing at this buffoonery at this point so I payed my $200 fee for nothing and asked for the tests they ran to be emailed to me (of course that never happened) AND THEN THEY DROVE MY TRUCK TO THE FRONT!!! A TRUCK WITH A BLOWN ENGINE JUST MIRACULOUSLY STARTED AND DROVE!! Low and behold I took my truck to the Ford dealer, they immediately agreed with my original diagnosis of broken valve spring on cylinder 5, they easily fixed it in about an hour FOR $326 AND threw in a complementary oil change for my hassle AT PICKERINGS!! So for $75 less than Pickerings generous offer to remove 6 bolts... you can get a full valve spring replacement (pretty complicated fix) at the dealer aka highest standard of mechanical work. I guess they saw an expensive truck and thought I was ignorant to how it operates, but even if I was, I could tell what was wrong just by the first videos that populate off an internet search. The biggest issue of all of this is how many people are they able to pull this game on that are not diligent enough to catch it. How is even possible that a company is still trying to get away with “bait and switch” tactics in 2020? I hope this novel saves another person’s bank account, and I hope that Pickerings figures out how to do credible honest business ASAP.
Brought my Ram 1500 in for 100K service. It was a good amount of work and was not cheap. I got the quote from Pickerings then called 2 other shops to compare and they were comparable. But Pickerings was a very professional shop and communicated well and quick with me so I felt goi g with them was the best choice. My truck was done quick and they gave me a discount because it was a lot of stuff. Very happy and will be back for all my service needs.
They took care of my needs and did a good job when I was along way from home.
My experience with Pickering was amazing! Brandon was especially helpful. We needed a major repair in a timely manner due to deadlines on the road, and Pickering absolutely delivered. Not only was the repair done in just a couple of days, but they even saved us a little money because some of the parts came in a kit and they passed the savings onto us. Loved our experience, I would definitely make this my go-to mechanical place!
Great service, great staff. Repairs are done right the first time. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else!
Over priced. Just to run tests on codes, I was charged $150 per code. Nothing to do with actual work labor. Most places in the area barely charge that much to run tests on unlimited codes. Premium, warrantee, doesn’t matter. Over priced no matter what.
James is the best mechanic at Pickerings. I always know hes going to do the right thing.
I have never been there before. Now this is my place to go for all my jeep needs. Fast service, Reasonable rates.
My truck would not start this morning on a business trip. They arranged for towing and were quick to provide updates. Their prices are very fair and honest. I highly recommend them to anyone. It is too bad I live in Loveland, CO. Thanks!
Jessica took the time to listen to me explain my concerns. She then took it to the Audi special mechanic who did the necessary research on my particular make and model. Jessica called me with the results of his findings. A great experience!
They took their time and did it right the first time! Great customer service, going the extra mile to help me with transportation while they had my car! Came recommended by another shop. Well worth it!
I am 76 years young and have been to MANY auto repair shops in my days. I have been going to Pickerings for several years and they are by far the Politest, most Family friendly automotive shop while providing excellent and professional service at reasonable prices.
Very fast service, very helpful and kind staff. Completely contactless and efficient service which is helpful during COVID-19. A good value for time and service!
Great automotive service
Great people nice and helpful thank you
We were charged 350 just to diagnosis a fule pupm, then quoted over 1700 for repairs. We were told it needed 2 part replaced in the fule system, which only just needed a fule pump replacement. The other part didnt exist. Quoted us 750 for a fule pump when the most expensive one we could fine was 340. Took it to a different shop and was charged 650 for a fule pump replacement. This place is a rip off, they should be ashamed of taking advantage of people. Over 2100 dollars for a job that should coast no more than 700. Thank you Quality Auto Service, in arvada, Mechanic Ez. Truly honest and fair. Boooo Pickering.
Wonderful service and staff. They always explain to me what exactly they’re doing to my car and make it a learning experience when I ask. Fair prices and superb customer service. Keep it up!
They found that the reductant pump had failed, they advised me it was considered a “ critical” repair. I was traveling and I am an out of towner! Pickerings did the repair in less than a day, and advised me that there was a warranty on the part and who to contact if something went wrong especially while I was on the road. My experience is “job well done”!!
I have used Pickering’s for multiple years now. I have been very satisfied with my service. I think the most important thing about them is that I can trust them and their recommendations for my car which is often hard to find in an auto shop. I would recommend any family member or friend to go here.
I would say that every time I go to this auto place I always get great service was able to get my car taken care of as well as a rental if needed. So just want to say Thank You picketing auto for taking care of my car every time
After dealing with many other shops, I’ve finally found a competent and friendly staff. Jessica was kind enough help me with questions and Trent went out of his way to make sure I was all taken care of. This is what all automotive service shops should should strive to be. Thanks Pickering’s.
So happy with my experience. The primary reason for my positive experience is the excellent communication, notification and transparency. These aspects were WAY beyond the norm!! So fantastic.I know nothing about cars so I can’t address whether the work was done perfectly. I am thinking they have great attention to detail in this area since they were superlative in other areas.I wish I had known to ask for the full car checkup, but I am confident I will return here for anything I need done going forward.I appreciate their willingness to prioritize the work that needs to be done because I couldn’t afford everything that needed to be done this month. I was not made to feel like a bad “car parent” because of this. They made it clear what was a safety concern & what could wait a bit.Shout outs to Brandon, Jessica & I think Matt and/or Grant. (Sorry for not paying attention guys.)I will sing their praise every chance I get.I cannot believe I didn’t post this. Since the above review I have been back to Pickering’s for more work. (130,000 miles)I LOVE this place! Thanks to Mallory & all the staff.
Went in for the first time to get help with a cabin air filter. I had been to the dealership 4 times to get this issue resolved, no success. Jessie was able to diagnose, fix the problem and send me on my way in about 30 min.Definitely earned my business and will pass on my positive experience!
People were rude and acted as if they were not interested in my business. Which i gladly took to my friends at Albas Auto. Hes a better mechanic and a better person.
At first, I was hesitated about my “very first” used car to be repaired at the auto shop because it’s a bit pricey. But I was wrong, it is really worth your money and energy. I feel like they have doctoral mechanics. Afterward, my face got hurt because I smile so hard while heading off to my home! Go there and see yourself! No joke. Thanks, Brandon and Pickering team and crew!
I had such a great experience at Pickering’s! They were friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make my experience flawless. I love being able to support a local family business too! Thank you guys so much!
I took my Toyota in for an oil change and also had the tires rotated. First glaring problem was the price, nearly $100 for both services which is ludicrous. The second problem was how long it took, 2 hours and 45 minutes to get my car back. The whole experience was beyond frustrating. I have had some work done there in the past, but after this experience I will mever spend another penny there. Save your money and blood pressure by going anywhere else.
Quick, to the point and honest. What more can you ask from a shop? Highly recommend if your in the Lakewood area.
I tell everyone about Pickering. I am very pleased with them! They are honest and work hard to take care of their customers.
I took my car in the other week for an oil changed and to have a few other things checked out. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and did everything I asked and then some. The prices were very fair and they were honest about what needed to be done and not done. They werent after my wallet like so many other mechanics are. I really appreciated that.
These guys are awesome had my diesel checked out and fixed in 2 days the was fair and the customer service was excellent tent was knowledgeable and friendly I would recommend these guys to anyone
I took an older vehicle in for diagnosis before spending any more money on it. The employees at Pickerings were kind and efficient on the telephone and in person seemed to be helpful and thorough. I paid a very fair price for their information and received a full report of recommendations of work to be done. Ultimately we decided to donate the car and buy a newer used vehicle for our son. We will be taking the new car to them and our other vehicles!
I am a single mother with a career and dont have a ton of time to waste. I took my car in... the building is clean and inviting, the gal at the desk was very professional and knowledgeable, I knew my car was in good hands. I had the work done and it was the easiest transaction which I appreciate.they even arranged transportation for me. I probably could have found a cheaper mechanic but you get what you pay for... and Pickerings is quality.
Big thank you to the folks at Pickering’s. Last week my 24-year old car would not start after shopping (tried jumping the battery with a kind passer-by, but that did not work) and called Pickering’s for help. They were very understanding of my situation; arranged to have my car towed to their shop and provided a rental. My car was in their shop for a couple days; they diagnosed the problem and installed a new starter. Through this entire process, Pickering’s communicated very clearly what their services would be and the estimated costs. Pickering’s has been servicing my car since 2012 and I’m a very happy customer.
Had my car towed at around 10 am and I was picking it up by 5 pm. Insanely fast service, and I also felt their prices were fair =) It was recommended to me and I would definitely go back.
Great place to take your car in for any reason. I have had several vehicles serviced here over the last twenty years, and recommend this place for anything you need.
