I am a female... 60 years old. I have to drive across the country from Washington State to Ohio. I asked Joe to make my 20-year-old Ford F-250 super duty truck roadworthy. I said I want you to look at everything like it was your sister who was driving. I want you to check everything out. His prices were the best in town. I trust him to do work on my vehicles. I had absolutely no worries that I would be taken to the cleaners. Whats more, is he never tried to upsell me. I never write reviews, so its saying a lot that I have taken the time to write this one. My truck runs beautifully. If you take your vehicle to Joe or his son John, you will be treated fairly
They were able to take me in the next morning on rather late notice after my car started overheating on the way home from work. Had my car back the same day after the fix. Seems like a well run shop.
Months ago, I had my oil changed there,, and I also recieved a printed quote on costs to do oil change, tune up, and some other various repairs on my vehicle. I waited until I got my taxes in, called and made an appointment for some of these very same services I had already gotten a quote on. I told them what services I wanted completed, and that if any additional services might be recommended we could discuss it at pick up. I called and verified twice, let them know I was leaving town and would be back to pay/pick up after I returned. Dropped off my car on a Friday, it was scheduled for repairs on Saturday. I even filled out paperwork once again letting then know exactly what work I was dropping the car off for.I stopped in after they opened Monday morning and they had done NONE of the work. They said they called, I had no service where I was at, so they decided not to do any work at all. Told me they wanted to give me costs of the oil change and tune up, etc and because they didnt talk to me they didnt do them. What!? How many quotes do I need really? I had been there 2 times and called 2 times prior to my appointment. I had already been given a quote, how many do I need? Ive never been to an establishment where you drop you car off, tell them exactly what you want done, and they do nothing because they couldnt call and talk me into MORE WORK? NO. I found someone else, equally qualified,, to do the work for less.
Great place for auto repairs, Joe is a very nice man.
They are awesome fast and the price ended up lower than I was quoted thank you
Not sure if the price for work was lower than any others, but they fixed my car and I was able to pick back up in about 3 hours.
Joe and his team have been helping me out for a few years now on my 1979 Chevrolet Camaro z28 and many cars before and there no words that can express how good of a job they do and such a good price. Would highly recommend!!
Joe helped me with my windshield washer problem. ❤️
Made me stand out side in the ice cold weather. Ive done an oil change. Who can screw that up? Took in a vehicle for a pre purchase inspection. 2 men 20 minutes. The form was So Generic that it was basically a check list. No detailed info written. Was told all was great. Although i seen cracks in the bushings. Never got an idea of what may need to be in mind for future care. 130$ i felt jipped.
Best brake job yet👍🏼
The best sushi anywhere. No kidding, they have the best sushi period. And I know sushi, have eaten it in about two dozen aces around Western Washington, does not come close to Sushidos. Try it, you know what I mean, shushido!!!!
Very friendly staff, good work and fair pricing
The Supervisor worked on my truck immediately. So I could get back to work.
Excellent and quick service. Took my car in for a tune up and serpentine belt change.. It was done in less than 2 hrs. Cant be happier!
Service are the best I gotten.
They do good work when they actually get to your vehicle but I just got turned away because it was too busy. Its 30 minutes after opening and you dont take appointments apparently, so getting too busy to take in an oil change due to the four cars in the parking lot is pretty ridiculous. They arent bad but arent reliable either. Lost my business.
Went in for a very simple exhaust repair with a broken heat shield that recently began to rattle daily. The staff was super friendly and professional and was able to get me in for service super quickly! I was even more at surprise when the simple service I needed repaired was made mention to me that I would not be charged for this repair! I was so grateful for this!Thank you so much for this pleasant experience and more so that this was my first time as a customer at this business! I will definitely return again for any further needs and I highly recommend this location! Thank you again Bucky’s Lakewood!
They are great and super friendly, they were able to fix my exhaust leak at a very reasonable price and explained all my options going forward
Brought my Nissan Titan to Buckys to have the brakes done On my way down to work My rear tire came off Had to get towed back to Buckys $580 they put all the same stuff that was messed up from the tire coming off back on and tried to sell sell me that it was OK Force them to put it back together right Lost 4 days of work 3 car swerved to miss my tire rolling down the freeway at 70 miles an hour 26 miles from Oregon border Still have not received any reimbursement Do not suggest that anyone goes to them for car repairsAnd their company does not Ram burst for towing as their manager says they willOut of pocket loss And work time lossOver $2000 If I could give them less than one star I would
Can u say quick?? Lol these guys had my vehicle in and out of there in 40 minutes, didnt try to sell me anything else or offer other services on my car.... Just quality service done in a very timely manner, very much appreciate.
Pretty good, knowledgeable guys!
Very helpful in getting my exhaust repair done and getting me back on the road. I walked in around 4pm, and was on my way home around 5pm without an appointment.
Great service, friendly and reasonable.
Great service, great price. Had an oil change and asked if they would check out a sound my car was making. It was an incredibly minor issue that involved no mechanical work, but they put me at ease. Thank you!
Couldnt help me said they were booked up all week with work. So i went elsewhere.
Absolutely great service. They took care of my needs. It was a pretty small job to them. But a huge relief to me. A+ customer service, and knowledge.
I mean... they do get the job done.. But it seems like theres more problems afterwards coincidentally... Perhaps idk? Just sayin..
The staff were not friendly
Very great service. had a hard time understanding a few things that were going wrong with my car, they explained it to me the best way a few times! fast, good price and nice people. will go back for future car things.
This is the best buckys out of all the Buckys Ive been too. Definitely great and speedy customer service.
Well youre talking about a very successful dynamic shop Buckys is the place to go
These guys are awesome.I tried to replace my own taillight assembly. Two screws & a plug, sounds easy right? Wrong! I couldn’t get one of the screws out. I called Bucky’s (after 4pm) for help, he said to come on by. They took the screw off, & replaced my taillight for me. Get this....all out of the kindness of their hearts. I offered to pay but they wouldn’t take my money, said to come back when I needed an oil change. So guess where I’m going for my next oil change? Yup, Bucky’s. Again, thank you guys so much for your generosity & kindness.
Great place very helpful got the job done quwik
Buckys stores making automotive issues resolved.Professionals for customers.
Polite helpful and got the job done
Top notch ace technicians
This place offers good service but I dont like any Buckys after one Bad experience with the one on 6th Ave
They take too long and they dont have good experience
Great service, reasonable charges & friendly staff.
I think theyre okay but I am not going back again anytime soon if I dont have to.
I really enjoy the mechanical service they provide, the work is good, and there prices are reasonable.
Good service
My husband and I just moved to the Lakewood area and needed to have some work done on our truck. Luck would have us pick Buckys in Lakewood to go to. Joe was so very helpful from the start and helped us decide the best course of action to take with our repairs. Although it was extensive we felt this crew had our best interests in mind. Joe and Miguel, as well as the rest of the staff, were so very courteous and extremely helpful. We will continue to frequent them any time we need mechanical assistance.
That really got over on me 350 for them not to even fix the problem
I used to live in Lakewood, WA, Imoved to Maple Valley, wa in Feb. Joe the manager is awesome. He is honest, he lets you know exactly what is going on with your vehicle. He visually shows you, which I really like. Because I trust this Buckys I travel about 40 miles one way!
I brought in my Cadi for my turn signals that didnt work but Joe helped me out with ease an not to high of a cost for it so I would require this spot.
Best price and super fast friendly service. They were on top of everything. I came in to have cars replaced on my car and it 3x less them the other shop and I came in again to have headlights replaced on my moms car and they had it in and out right away. The manager Joe at the counter greeted me right away and was on top of everything
I went for an oil change and asked them if they can show me where the coolant goes I was going to do it myself but the employee showed me where it went and put some in for me . It was super kind of him !!
We went late in afternoon with a sound our truck was making and the serviceman named Joe checked out the noise and right away told us what he thought it was and we left it there. Two hours later he called that our truck was fixed and ready to be picked up. Now, thats fast, reliable and good service. Even the price was right!! Thanks Buckeys and Joe for your good service!! We will surely return 💝
Great place awesome people 100% recommend them
Get there early, Joe was very helpful and didnt make me feel out of my comfort zone concerning cars in general. Found a good deal on a part that could have ended up being 2 parts . Even have a 90 day same as cash payment plan for your repair bill. I try to stay with the family owned places, next time I need service Ill be returning.
Was very accurate in assessing the damage. To my vehicle and had minimum charge for the service they provided. Would recommend any time going back.
They have good service and very affordable
There in house financing is sketchy. You better read the whole contract and dont listen to the employee! Hes gonna say whatever to make you do it but the actual terms are totally different
I had a bad experience with buckys from a different location and have not used them till recently. I have been using another mechanic shop for years but because they dont do certain svcs i took my sons titan and my Ford to this buckys in Lakewood...Joe, the guy that manages this shop is very good people...I believe good managers make great workers... after getting the work done and driving these bad boys (trucks) around...u could definitely feel the difference..I havent had greater quality work done since I left Hawaii..chee pono..much mahalos to Joe!!!
Excellent customer service.
Cost to dam much i got a friend tht can do it for 1/3 of the cost its hard timrs right now drop the cost wow $600. I payed 250 and got it done . No thanks to them. Yall crazy.
They did a great job on my car. I would recommend
Weve been lucky to have this team there to affordably maintain our vehicles. They are honest, upfront, and do their best to never to talk down to their customers.
Phenomenal brake service for an awesome price! Thanks guys! #Joe is awesome
We went to Buckys to have a pre-inspection on a vehicle we were considering purchasing. They were able to quickly squeeze us in and identified a major problem saving us the headache of purchasing a lemon. They were very kind and personable. They gave us a few names of other places to look for used vehicles that they trust after decades of experience. Needless to say we did not purchase the vehicle, but will be sure to return for future pre-inspections.
Brought in my NissianQuick in and quick outVery thankfulGreat friendly service !!!Will return for future needsRecommend Highly
I had a great experience here. Finally a place that doesnt BS... The manager was very honest and patient with me- I called several times with pricing and other general questions and he was still great. They got all the work done in a very timely manner and were very courteous. I highly recommend these guys.
Great service and detailed break down of what was completed and what needs attention.
Great service
My Grandma passed away last year & we needed to get my car an oil change/check-up before driving to California. The manager at the time, (I apologize, I forgot his name but Ill try to update this later with it if I can) saw how heartbroken & low my mother was & told her not to worry about the fee. My mom broke into tears, hugged him & thanked him from the bottom of her heart & we traveled safely to spread my Grandmas ashes 💖My mom called me crying in the car. After I heard what he did, I started crying too. Well always be grateful for the kindness we received in such a dark time. Great customer service goes such a long way.*Sorry it took so long to leave this review, guys.
Great place for service.
Strait talk ..honest work !
Tried to charge for $1100 in repairs that did not need to be done. The engine in our car stopped running on the freeway, so we took it here. Their mechanic looked at it for 15 minutes and said that they had run diagnostics and both catalytic converters and both O2 sensors needed to be replaced. He refused to explain any of this himself, making the guy at the counter do it. My husband asked them how the sensor could be broken if it properly sensed that the catalytic converter was malfunctioning, and he was blown off. He also asked why both sets needed to be changed, and the guy at the counter gave an answer that was clearly made up on the spot.We took the car straight to the Toyota dealership, who informed us that it would have been impossible for Buckys to have run diagnostic codes when we didnt have a check engine light on. Eventually, we were able to have the real problem fixed by a good mechanic - for only $200! It took several weeks to actually diagnose, but it was just a broken fuel injector. We called the location to demand our $120 diagnostic fee back, and at first they pretended not to have any record of us in their system, then they refused to return the money. This place scams their customers.
I asked miguel if he could fix it and he said hes a mexi-can not a mexi-cant. The best guy there hands down. Definitely going back.
Fast and honest service. No upselling and super friendly people.
Best place in Lakewood; have certified mechanics that can do the job. Let them know what is wrong with your vehicle. They will find a best solution with a Great price to afford.
Waited 15 minutes and none came to assist at the front desk.
Good and fast
The manager was friendly and the staff was efficient and timely.
Always a great experience with this shop. Outstanding service and quality work. I’ve been a customer for years. Exhaust work is top notch
Went in to have brake pads changed because I heard squeaks when I used my brakes. Turned out that they were only glazed over so they shaved off the glaze put some coating on and called it good. I havent heard a squeak yet. So all in all I saved money by not having to change out my pads and the service was done in about an hour and a half.
I took my car in to have an exhaust gasket changed. They told me the two bolts were too rusted and that it would be easier to just chop the flange off and weld the exhaust together. So they did, and they did a good job of it too. The best part is that they didnt even charge me to do it. They also found another exhaust leak which will require a bit more work done to it. I didnt have time that day to do it, but I will for sure be going back to get it done.
Work quickly, good prices
Highly recommended
Awesome
Very unprofessional came in for a oil change, had to sit and listen to cussing employees personal conversations that were not work appropriate. This whole time I was never assisted. I grabbed my keys and left. I expected better from buckys and heard a lot of great things about the company. This was a huge disappointment.
Came in at 8am told them I wanted my car fixed they waited 40 mins to offer diagnostics then took until 1 oclock to finish
Fast and professional services, wait time wasnt too bad considering the repair. Most likely will return for other fleet truck repairs.
They fixed my windshield wiper assembly for no charge even though the parts and labor were past their warranty period. Joe at the counter was friendly and helpful and I would definitely recommend their services.
Ive been receiving services for over 5 yrs here. Everytime I come Im treated with the upmost respect and quality service. I cant say enough about this place! Except I really do miss my Doug...
Dougs team is the best. Been going to these guys for a little over a year now.
I’m not a certified mechanic but it seems like diagnosing what’s wrong is the first step in fixing a car. The Buckey’s model skips that step and just replaces random parts. These one star reviews are on point. Stay clear from this one!
They did amazing work and their prices were amazing too!!!!
Im going to have to give Buckeys a big thumbs up! These guys slaved over my SUV to determine what was wrong with it. They kept an upbeat and positive attitude while I was nearly about to have a panic attack. They found the problem and fixed it for me. No other mechanic could ever figure out the problem and Ive been trying to find the culprit for over a month. I was very happy with the price and their morals. They knew what they were doing and took care of me. I left there HAPPY...I would recommend them to others....BTW, they offered me donuts while I waited!
I would not recommend ever going here their customer service is horrible.I have been there several times and they have not been very nice and I even had to bring the vehicle back to have them fix their low quality parts. The employees are not friendly especially the one that works the counter most of the time. Find another shop i recommend Villa transmission down the road much better customer service.
Friendly helpful place. Ask for miguel hes the man for the job!!!
I brought my car in because I was throwing codes for spark plugs and engine coils, said that I wanted an evaluation because I recently replaced both and paid around $130 for that only to have them run my codes and tell me what I told them. Thanks. So I had one spark plug that was loose and one bad coil. Fixed my self.
If I could rate zero I would. Lost parts. Took 4 1/2 hours for a two hour job. Scratched our car and grease printed it up. Way to treat a disabled couple!!! Left the door lock wires in the door!!! Lied about lost parts... They threw them away! Oh forgot to mention the spare parts on the floor.... They didnt see them. All this for a window motor replacement.
Did and amazing job on my husbands truck but theyre the priciest place Ive ever had a vehicle worked on at.
Bad customer service, went there for a catalytic converter replacement, and had go back there multiple times for the same thing. Asian working front desk counter is horrible and needs a class on customer service. Spent alot wasted time and effort dealing with this shop will never go there again. Hope this help others when you are deciding to spend your dollar there. Although the manager Doug did his best to fix there issues, he wasnt there initially when started this job.
Great service and fast! Thank you!!!
