I’m very glad to know that European Motors is right around the neighbor hood from my house here in Lakewood.Even though I had missed my original appointment by accident, they did take me in the fallowing morning and said they wood take care of it. I requested to have my steering fluid changed as a result of my power steering light coming on and power steering not working and scan the car for codes. Additionally, I asked them to check my brake fluid and coolant in case they were due to be changed. Left my car there all day, no call that my car was completed. I called and was told that I would be called back right away. Half an hour later I called back, because Im in Olympia and had to leave immediately to pick it up before they closed. They said it was done and nothing was found wrong and I could pick it up. I went to pick it up and they said all the fluids were fine and they didnt change the power steering fluid as requested. On my way home I lost power steering. I emailed them that night to reschedule the car to have the power steering fluid changed and address the light on the dash. Its been almost a week now and I still have not heard back from them.

European Motors has always been my go-to shop to service my Porsche. They are trustworthy and very reasonably priced. Don’t go to the dealership for services. There are places like European Motors that do a better job all around.

Recently went to European motors. Car wouldnt start and all signs were leading to something major like fuel pump or turbo failure. Turned out to be something very minor and easy to fix they were very honest and helpful overall had a great experience with them I would definetly recommend to anyone and I will also continue going to them for any future car problems.

My name is Larry Jones. Wonderful experience. Kraig and the team are always highly professional. I’ve been going to them over 4 plus years and never had a bad experience. They go over and beyond what’s expected. They replaced my ignition system and in addition to doing that, they heard a chirping sound, so they replaced a bad pulley. While on the test drive the tech heard water splashing under the floor board. He unplugged the drain plug and kept the car an additional 2 days to ensure it was completely dry. We are blessed to have them in our community.

European Motors did a fantastic job of getting my Mercedes in for a much needed oil change and diagnostic check. They are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and even offered advice for a future used Mercedes purchase. All in all great team to work with.

As long as I own a BMW (or Europeon vehicle) I am taking it here. I’ve already recommended this euro shop to all my friends and family. They are very professional and have good pricing. My car came in for many maintenance and engine problems. It was an absolute mess! I didn’t even know where to begin but I need a professional shop. My 2010 BMW 328i E90 had major oil problems I had a valve cover gasket leak and oil pan gasket leak. Kraig was very thorough and honest with me. This place knows their stuff and knew my car more than anyone else. I also came in with a leaking radiator. It was an absolute mystery where it was leaking from but they ended up figuring it out and recommending a new radiator. My car is running like a brand new car. I can’t thank you guys enough! They also offer SNAP financing which is an absolute blessing too. Thank you guys!

My dad had a Goodyear dealership for many years and I was a prior mechanic in the military. I prefer to do my own work but when I need to go to the shop I’m very picky on who works on my car.I’ve been to European Motors two times and they’ve been a life saver since I don’t have specialty tools. Both of my experience has been stellar and quite frankly better than the Mercedes dealership and at a discount to boot!

I used to go to Mouse Meat in tacoma for any service for to my Audi but not anymore. The staff here was punctual fair and very friendly. I would recommend this shop to everyone.

We bought an old Mercedes that was being repaired by European motors before we purchased it. This shop knows European vehicles well. They are quick, knowledgeable, friendly and most importantly... trustworthy. The repairs aren’t necessarily cheap... but that’s to be expected of an older vehicle needing specialized tools.

So far so good for the 08 GTI thermostat replacement- looking forward to summer months. With all my questions, Mr. Joe was a professional and had patience. Very particular about who and how much I spend on repairs for my car- cost was reasonable and warranty on their work exceeds the VW dealer. They also provide military discount.

I was really disappointed when I called to get some work done on my vehicle and they told me they didnt work on older vehicles. I guess I was confused by the older American vehicles in their showroom. I will never go or recommend anybody going there.

Great auto repair shop with experienced ASE certified technicians. The staff communicates pricing estimates, repair needs and suggested repairs effectively and repairs have actually come out to be cheaper than quoted. Nice to get discount coupons in my email as well, the 10% discounts are a nice savings especially for those higher ticket repair/service needs. I will have to agree with the previous comments about Craig/Kraig, I just spoke to him about a hood replacement on my Range Rover and had the same impression. My wife smelled burning oil coming from under the hood. Like most of us who learned to work on cars in the 50s it most certainly would be the valve cover gasket. My wifes car has two valve covers and so many scrunched in add-ons that I no longer have the tools or patience to tackle this one time simple task. Kevin and crew made the repairs much faster than I could have and Im sure with no expletives uttered. I highly recommend this shop.

I have only good words to say about the Staff at European Motors. in Lakewood. Wa. I have a 2005 Jaguar S-Type and they are the only shop in town that has worked on it, including service . I recommend them Highly . That also includes any domestic automobiles.

We havent had the need for the guys since we move to southern Idaho. My wife and son had to make a trip back to Puyallup last week everything was just fine and then steam everywhere I called European motors at 450 pm they close at 5 told them what was going on and said I was an old customer with the blue bmw 328ci. They said drop it off and well look at it first thing. They replaced the radiator all hoses cleaned her up and my wife picked it up before they closed. Promises kept, quality work, and a more than fair price! We only trust European motors in Lakewood! Our work in idaho just happens to have a similar name and they do good work. Best place I have ever been to, the guy Kraig is very honest and has a good heart, you can tell he cares about his customers. I brought in my Audi TT, that I purchased from an auction. He was able to find issues that no other mechanic had. He also took pictures to help me understand what exactly was wrong with the car and the options I had in regards to repair. If you want an honest and affordable mechanic, look no further, this place is about as good as it gets!

First time customer, had fantastic experience. They did new front rotors/pads w/ brake fluid flush, installed 4 x new tires w/ balance & alignment, replaced my TPMS sensors, an oil/filter change & new cabin/air filters on my 2010 Maserati GranTurismo S. I own two (2) import cars, and will be taking both of them to EMSC for service. Had a two-star experience at Rairdon Maserati for 30% more per hour for labor. Thanks guys!!!

I had a terrible experience. I came in asking for a quote on two specific things I already knew were wrong with my car. They told me to just leave the car and they’d check it out and call me with the quote.So they called me with an extremely over priced result, and I gladly declined. Then to find out they charged me 61$ Because they checked my car out, although I already told them exactly what needed to be fixed. ? They told me nothing about this fee. They are a rip off and they will nickel and dime you if you let them.

I have been doing business with European Motors Service Center for the past 22 + years and have really been satisfied with the quality of the work preformed as well as the cost. The crew is very professional and work extremely hard to get your repairs completed in a timely manner.

Brought my BMW in to get checked out due to a hard downshift on the transmission. After the company had it for a week I was told that solenoids were replaced as well as new seals put in. However after picking it up the vehicle was still having the same issue. I was told to bring it back in again and I left it for another 5 days for them to come back and tell me there was no issue. So I picked it up from the shop and begin my journey home on the transmission failed completely. At this point I didnt see any reason to contact European Motors service center as they werent able to figure it out in the first place. I took it to my own shop in Olympia Washington to find out that nothing was done to it and gear oil was placed in my transmission. Clearly the worst service I have ever experienced not only that but they ruined my car and which I had to pay out of pocket to get it repaired. After further inspection by my mechanic it was found out that some of the noise were not only not replaced but were never touched and the fluid in my transmission was indeed gear oil. I wouldnt take my sons tricycle to these guys much less a vehicle.

Wasnt real impressed with this place. Took my Mercedes in for a small repair, ended up paying much more because they broke the tensioning mechanism. Took our Volkswagon in for some work and got it back with a blown head gasket that they said they were not responsible for and still had a broken down car after a large repair job. Spent a lot of money there and still had no car to drive. Just my two cents worth

I was so nervous about finding a new mechanic since recently moving here from out of state. This place came highly recommended by a friend and Im glad I took his advice. The guys here are very knowledgeable, honest (do what they say they can do, and say upfront what can or cannot be done) and do excellent work. (In our experience, work got done much faster than expected too; that was a nice bonus.) Oh, theyre nice too: They took the time to explain what the issues were, discussed cost and options up front, and didnt treat us like idiots; my husband and I both have some auto/mech experience and these guys were my 2nd opinion. They are my new goto Jag mechanic! Yay!!!

WINDSHIELD CRACKED DURING REPAIR, NOT NOTICED BY MECHANIC, RETURNED TO CUSTOMER - THEN AFTER PICTURES WERE SUBMITTED ONLINE VIA EMAIL, DAMAGE ACKNOWLEGED AND REPLACEMENT WINDSHILED INSTALLED AT NO CHARGE. ENTIRE DAY REQUIRED BY SHOP FOR INSTALL WHEN ONLY 1/2 DAY PROMISED - NO LOANER VEHICLE OFFERED, ONLY A ONE-WAY RIDE TO AN APPOINTMENT ON JBLM - COULD HAVE AVOIDED ALL THE INCONVENIENCE AND HASSLE WITH MORE CAREFUL AND PROFESSIONAL REPAIR TO BEGIN WITH.2. several hoses replaced and an A/C component replaced. THE REPLACEMENT COMPONENT WAS LEFT RESTING UNATTECHED ON A FRAME MEMBER, ON TOP OF THE EXACT MOUNTING HOLES IN THE BRACKET OF THE REPLACEMENT PART. PERSONALLY POINTED THIS OUT TO SERVICE MANAGER WHO INSTALLED TWO SIMPLE BOLTS ON THE SPOT. DISAPPOINTED IN AN UNFINISHED JOB WITH SUCH A SIMPLE AND NECESSARY SOLUTION.3. rear brake rotors and pads replaced. IMMEDIATELY AFTER LEAVING THE SHOP, DROVE WITH A CONSISTENT SCREECH AND SQUEALING SOUND DURING FREE DRIVING, BRAKING, AND CORNERING. RETURNED TO SHOP AND MECHANIC CAME OUT TO PUT CAR BACK ON LIFT AND PUT THE DISC GUARD BACK IN PLACE - IT JUST SLIPPED OVER A LITTLE BIT SOMEHOW. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN A SLOPPY FINISH TO A VERY CRUCIAL COMPONENT.Car was given an appointment on Monday morning and left the shop on late Friday afternoon for the 3 service requests listed above.Service Manager mentioned a mechanic who was out sick and another who needed to be let go as part of the problem in taking 5 days to perform these services.So, make your own choice to have work done at this shop.
