Honestly worst place i have ever been to. The customer service was so rude i didnt even continue to have my vehicle serviced here. When i asked for specific answers all i was getting excuses and told we just dont want to work on american cars!!!

Popped a tire just off the overpass on the highway. They were closed but I left my car there briefly to get the tire replacement and my car and I were on our way an hour later. The lot was clean and I appreciate that I wasnt immediately towed haha

Have used these guys multiple times for both my and my wifes cars. Honest, fairly priced, and pretty quick. When my wifes car started leaking oil they told me they could fix it for a big price. Or they proposed I have the timing belt changed (the car was just about due for it) and they could fix it while they were doing that. Saved me a ton of money and earned themselves a loyal customer.

These guys worked on my Chevy Pickup and Suburban last year and I couldnt be any happier. I was able to leave the vehicle with them and swap it out when they were done with the first one. I was thinking about purchasing a new car at the time but now Im back enjoying driving around with two good vehicles having spent a lot less money than a new car would have set me back.

My car broke down right in front of the shop and the guys helped me bring it into their lot, diagnosed the problem the next day, and when I decided to tow the car home instead of using their services, (even though the quote was a fair price) they helped us get it onto a trailer and wouldnt take any payment for anything. Awesome people.

Had a wheel bearing replaced, and brakes and rotors replaced here. Price was fair and work send to have been done well. Way to work with, I dropped my truck off the day I called and it was done 2 days later.

I have always had fair, honest and reasonably priced service from Applewood. Ive had several vehicles repaired here over the years and have always found their work to be tops!

I had another shop try to tell me my transmission bearing was bad, and I needed to spend $2k to rebuild my transmission. I took it here for a 2nd opinion and they diagnosed cupped tires, a much more affordable fix.

Applewood has been around forever. The owner Steve is fair and honest. Appointments a must. The place is crazy busy.

My family had been taking our cars here for years, but stopped when they overpriced us on repairing one of them, and the repairs they did do failed. Ive had bad luck with mechanics lately so I figured its been almost 10 years, why not give Applewood another chance? My Xterra has been having issues shifting when Im at highway speeds and generally running rougher for some reason, so I asked for an oil change and for them to look into whats wrong with the transmission. They did the oil change but, near as I can tell, they drove it and then said they had no idea whats going on with the transmission and to take it somewhere else. Was not helpful, at all. I will, again, no longer be bringing my vehicles here.

Got me in asap for a gas leak was very honest and they stand by there work. The pricing was extremely fare and got me fixed up and driving same day. I will certainly be back for any future issues and will continue to recommend this mechanic.

Great service but took a few days because they were so busy. Other places do just as good but they arent so crowded.

I was referred to Applewood Automotive by an associated parts shop owner in Golden while shopping with a friend. This business owner was being flirty and promised to contact the manager at Applewood to ensure a discount. I did not appreciate the the flirting, but did appreciate the effort, and was just looking for reliable repairs. I dropped my car off and signed a waiver for an estimate of repairs and was assurred I would hear something by the next day. I hadnt received word by late the following afternoon, so called for an update. I was told an employee would call me back. The next day came and I still had no word about my car. By the appearance of the shop, employees and general attitude of excellent customer service, I was starting to wonder what was going on and explained to the receptionist that I would appreciate a response after two days of having my car and several check-ins. An employee finally called me back apologetically telling me they were busy and hadnt gotten to my car, that he would get to it ASAP that day. On the third day, I got a call from the shop manager saying my car was done and informing me of the total cost. I had not been given an estimate, nor authorized any work and was shocked that it was done and at the cost, considering another estimate from a different shop for the same job. My car engine was most likely ruined and I brought it to Applewood Automotive on the off chance that they might be able to salvage it. I had made it very clear that I did not want to waste the money to do a temporary fix just to get some remaining use out of the vehicle. I was astounded at the outcome and asked the manager why they had worked on my car after leaving me hanging and uninformed and without my permission. He actually said the parts shop owner in Golden who had referred me had been keeping in touch with him about the progress and outcome of my car repair and they both decided together and without including me and I now had a bill to pay. WHAT??? I called the shop owner in Golden and after interrogating him for some time, he sheepishly admitted that he had told his associate that manages/owns Applewood Automotive that I was his girlfriend! He said he was trying to make himself look good. WHAT???I called the manager at Applewood and reamed him. It was ME who dropped off MY car. It was ME who signed the waiver authorizing an ESTIMATE. It was ME that should have been communicating about MY car and it was ME who should have authorized any repairs. However, two days late I was expected to pay Applewood Automotive $400.00 for unauthorized repairs while being told my car might not make the drive home and most likely wouldnt last a month. I dont care if I really was personally associated with someone who was representing me - Applewood Automotive was illegal as far as Im concerned. Can you say misogyny??? The manager was unapologetic and yelled at me. He responded to me as if I had no right to be absolutely flabbergasted and if he hadnt waived the bill shearly out of annoyance that I had the nerve to react to such a ridiculous senario I would have surely brought them to court. He had nothing to say about bypassing my rights and handling me behind my back with the scumbag in Golden.100% unsatisfied with my uncivilzed experience with Applewood Automotive!
