Im not sure what the one person with the negative remarks is talking about. There are two HUGE rooms with wall to wall windows where parents can watch and all the kids hang out. Every child I saw was happy, laughing and smiling. Im a Mom of four children and I have seen the not so desirable places where money comes first and you are inundated with emails and texts and fake caring individuals who just want your money. This place is AMAZING and my daughter was blown away by CA. She loved it so much we signed up for more classes. Its a really well thought out gym and I would highly recommend CA Austin/Lakeway to anyone! Here are some photos I took...There are two parents/cheer waiting rooms and lots of windows. I witnessed many coaches supporting their students and other students cheering them on.The last photo is my daughter. Such a FUN place!!!

We have been to several cheer gyms. This one is by far our favorite. There is enough room for the parents to watch and communication has been excellent. My daughter loves it. It is extremely challenging though.

Great staff..beautiful facility...sucessful program at the national level...

I pay them to teach my daughter to do flippy things. Shes happy so I guess Im happy.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews.. CA is the best place ever! the coaches are super nice and fun. they work you hard but it’s all worth it. if you’re thinking about coming to CA, do it!

Really because my daughter has been cheering there for 2 years now and she absolutly loves it . From the moment she walk in the gym she was welcomed. My daughter has improved so move in these last year and i cant imangine her never going to Cheer Athletics Austin

Stay away. Definitely not representative of the CA brand. Owners do not care about your children, it’s all about money and trophies. Coaches verbally abuse children and they try to hide it by not allowing parents to hear or watch practices. Parents and children walk around on eggshells scared to speak up. The new warehouse building is an oven. Cheap AC with no insulation that can’t keep up with Texas 100+. Any other gym in town is better if you care about your children.

Some of these reviews shock me honestly...My daughter has been in competitive cheer for 5 years and we have been at CA Austin for 2 of those years...first at the previous gym and now at the new location in Lakeway. I am one of those parents that is there for every practice because we live in Dripping Springs so thankfully we go to a gym where they have plenty of space for parents and allow us to watch all the practices!!! I see nothing but happy athletes, parents and employees in that building and we truly are blessed to be part of something so great! The coaches are THE BEST...yes they are tough and make you work hard but that’s what it takes to win...my daughter has had some of the best memories of her life at this gym WE LOVE IT!And yes the gym is still making many improvements since relocating, it’s not an overnight process but we definitely do have cold air and the gym is amazing I can’t wait to see the many new things to come!

If youre interested in submitting your children to abusive staff and playing politics with coaches in order for your child to succeed, this is the place for you. If youre interested in your child excelling and succeeding based on their competency and capabilities, you should look elsewhere.

This cheer gym is amazing! The coaching staff really care about the athletes on and off the mat. They push and help you reach your goals. If youre looking for a great cheer gym its totally worth the time. We drive from South Austin a couple if times a week just to be able to work with them.

My 8 year old daughter was so excited to try out for Prep Team at Cheer Athletics. She practiced daily and did her very best at tryouts. The coach said he was excited about her and that she made the team. We were told we would hear something in a couple weeks to find out what team she would be on and her schedule. Two weeks passed and nothing. I called at least 4 times over the next month and never received a returned call. My daughters feelings were hurt and I was completely disappointed. We have now moved on and are looking for another gym with more love and passion for the kids.

My cousin said it was the best cheer gym she ever went. We went 3 hours and a half just for the cheer. Amazing gym.

We are going on our 4th season here in Austin. We love this gym and the director. Being apart of a large world known gym isnt for everyone. This gym requires dedication and alot of your time, which is why I wont go anywhere else. Please consider that when bringing your child. This isnt Pop Warner cheerleading.

This Cheerleading Gym is the Worst in Austin. It is definitely the Worst of the Cheer Athletics. If you want to be another check bring your child here. If you want your child to hate cheerleading after one season bring them here. They can not teach and they simply put kids in to try a spot and if they dont get it the first try they switch them for another athlete because the coaches dont now how to teach. If you care about your childs progression and want them to keep their passion please avoid this toxic environment at all costs.
