Beyond Helpful! I took my truck with a small rear bumper problem (it was crushed and couldnt open the the tailgate on my P/U). I had gone to the usual suspects (Service King, Caliber), but found the folks at Whitackers with online google search. They were attentive, thorough, and concise. Brought my 2018 Suburban in for a deer strike with substantial damage to the front of the vehicle. It should have been a straightforward claim but let me tell you the insurance company was very difficult to deal with, and there is no way I would have had a successful outcome without having an advocate working for me. Jose M. kept constantly on top of things with excellent communication on where we stood at all times. I finally got the car back and coincidentally three days later had a transmission issue. Even though it did not appear related to the crash, Jose spent a lot of time arranging third party experts on electrical and transmission repair including personally taking it to another shop to look at it.. and eventually a tow to a Chevy dealer. And arranging another rental car. This is above and beyond.Oh and the body work was superb. I have my own shop and have done my fair share of aircraft repair and painting, so I know what to look for. I had some comments on a few things and they were taken care of immediately. The icing on the cake was the owner calling to thank me for being a customer, and did in no way, shape or form ask me to write this.

I first went to Whitakers after a young man hit me from behind in Alpine, TX. His insurance was covering the repair and Whitakers was on their list of approved body shops. From the initial estimate to the actual repair everything went smoothly. My questions were answered and my car was ready when they said it would be. Jose was the person who oversaw the repair which was flawlessly executed. My car also had a rather deep scratch that was not a result of the accident. When I pointed it out to Jose, he fixed it with some touch up paint. And did not charge me. He told me I could get the paint from Subaru and repair any scratches myself. Then a couple of days later I backed into my sons car and scrapped up the bumper. Back I went to Whitakers and Jose. He gave me a $1000.00 estimate. But then he cleaned the bumper, pulled out his paint again, and repaired the scratch. And again did not charge me. I now have my own Subaru touch up paint. But if I ever need body work done again, Im going straight to Whitakers.

All of their employees were very helpful and I appreciated that they exercised necessary health precautions proving a safe environment during the ongoing pandemic. I took my car into Whitakers after my son washed my car with a course sponge (trying to help). I was scared Id have to have the whole thing repainted but Carlos was able to buff the paint and made it look brand new. He wasnt able to do it on the first try but told me not to worry and that he would try again. Yay! They made a lifelong customer with their honesty and professionalism.

Just a quick note to say that Whitakers did a great job fixing our Traverse after extensive damage due to a rear end collision. Phone calls were always returned and all questions answered in a timely manner and the work was done on time. Once we got the car back we asked for some minor adjustments to which they quickly obliged. The bottom line is they are a quality shop and they do great work. Recommended without hesitation.

I have had two vehicles repaired at Whitakers. A 2013 GMC Dually Extended Cab - perfect repair, on time, on schedule. I can keep this truck forever, Whitaker’s created a classic for me. Next I had a 2019 Mercedes Airstream Sprinter that had some dents in the hood. Estimate included body work, paint. The Metal Artist that repaired the hood, was able to remove the dents without disturbing the paint. Whitakers removed the paint cost from my estimate. I really appreciate the integrity and professional of all the Mgmt and Team of Metallurgical Artists. Rare to find that honesty in today’s world. I would recommend them to anyone needing body work. My sprinter returned to its perfect condition.

I clipped a post at a gas station and wiped out the side of my truck. I was referred to Whitakers Auto Body and Paint. The work they did was amazing! I was super impressed with not only their work but how professional and helpful they were. They went above and beyond to keep me posted as to what they were fixing on my car. About two weeks after I got my truck back, I got a follow up call from the owner himself making sure that I was satisfied with the job they did. I told them I couldnt be happier. My truck is my baby and they fixed her perfectly. The truck looked almost brand new when I went to pick it up. I highly recommend using them if you have any body work that needs repair. Just used the suggestion of Whitakers for new front bumper I had crunched. They suggested a non-Honda model as car is 2006 and fine by me. Then they called and said they had tried two of them and they were not up to their standards and so they called a Honda dealer and were able to get one for a even smaller price. Brought car in Monday and took home Friday on time even with those issues. WOW!!!!

Really did a great dealing with my damage on my 2009 Mazda 3 Hatchback. They were able to repair the damage that it is completely unnoticeable. I requested an extra repair and now my 10+ year old car looks brand new. You can not even see where the damage was! Followed up with a good washing and polishing the car looks like it just came off the show room floor. My family has been using Whitakers for a few years now with no complaints. The work was done quickly, I was kept informed, and was more than happy to have taken my car there. I insure with USAA. Whitakers was not on the list sent to me. I found them when on Google Maps when checking out where the various shops on the list were. The others had a few reviews with mixed satisfaction. At the time that I found Whitakers, the shop had 85 reviews, most if not all highly rated. I found them to deserve at least my high evaluation.

Did a great job on my luxury cars body. One electronics malfunction that wasnt initially addressed was followed up with the garage paying for another rental car for me and doing everything as expeditiously as possible. I wish I could share the same experience as others and hoped that I would. I helped my girlfriend get her car repaired here. The fit and finish was what I would consider acceptable. I would not consider the work out of the ordinary or exceptional. When we pointed out a few issues they immediately became condescending and rude to her. Their attitude is they know better and you best accept the work as is. I wish I had chosen another place to have the repair work done.

I backed my wifes car into my truck in the driveway. The truck was fine but her vehicle was dented and scraped and needed some work. I took her car to Whitakers Auto Body & Paint and was blown away by the customer service and the quality of their work. Whitakers did a great job on my old 2004 530. It was lightly hit in the rear, minimal damage to the bumper cover. The estimates all recommended replacing the bumper cover. The offending insurance company of course paid for a repair. As it turned out I was glad that my original cover is still on the car as some of these after market parts are Chinese and inferior quality. Small job but they went to the trouble to do it right. Removed the cover, repaired & painted it off the car. They practically detailed the entire car, cleaning wheels and even polished the exhaust tips. The car looks better than new!

I wish there were more stars. My car was rear-ended. Whitakers called me the next morning to schedule appointment. They worked around my schedule and offered suggestions and alternatives. They called the car rental to be there to pick me up. They repaired my car to perfection and then a warranty on top of that. Each individual I had contact was beyond nice. Kind, helpful, polite just to name a few. I would highly recommend this company.

I have used Whitakers for repair to my 2001 Jeep, and my 2007 Tahoe and each time I was impressed with how quickly they prepared a bid, then completed my repairs on schedule with very satisfactory end results.
