I have called with several questions and needed things fixed in the past. Megan Kissinger has always been there to help me out. I was super impressed when I locked myself out of my place and called an automated number and left a message. I also emailed Megan and she responded to my email within a few minutes, even though she was off and it was a weekend. She helped me figure out a solution to that problem and has always been professional and happy to listen to my issues.

We moved in to our new place just over a week ago. We are very impressed and pleased with our experience so far. Any concerns or questions we have has been answered quickly. Nina Jones has been amazing!!!!! She makes us feel valued and appreciated. We are absolutely loving it here.

Weve had good experiences with our rental company, Mauzy. Most recently we requested a fix for a minor electrical issue in the house. Nina was quick to respond and scheduled a technician to come out within a day or two.Our technician was Carlos, who easily identified the issue with the outlet, and got it switched over to a new one, making sure the color matched (which I very much appreciated). He was very nice, quick, and efficient. Problem fixed.I also liked that I got a notification on my phone when Carlos was on his way, and it told me exactly how many minutes away he was. And he showed up exactly when my message said he would. Nice feature! The message also included a picture of Carlos, which was great thing so I know Im not letting a random person in my house. 🙂Nina checked in the next day to make sure everything is now working properly and to assure us that shes there to help should we need anything else.

Very bad experience with this rental services. I have a townhouse unit 1604 Liberty Cir. Shakopee next door managed by this Management. They do not check background and do not deal with problems. Smoking is A big ISSUE with this unit. They should live here and experience to smell cigarettes every single day until they get cancer before rent this unit to smokers. Units very close to each other and smoke gets inside of the other units. This managements do not care about neighbors all they care is money, money. They should get familiar with area and look at this as they will live here than probably think twice before bring smokers here. Disappointed.

I have been working with Mauzy Properties and specifically with Ethan to manage my two duplexes in Saint Paul. Ethan has done a phenomenal job taking over the management. I had two vacancies when he took over and Ethan was able to find two quality tenants in a very timely manner. He is always very responsive and will usually respond to any questions you may have within half an hour via email. He thinks long term and will give you his advice on what you should do to get the best tenants and also how to retain them for the long run. Mauzy Properties is a wonderful management company and Ethan is just one example of why I will be letting them keep my business for a very long time.

We were having our problems with getting things done right of the bat moving into our new rental with this company. But when our property manger changed it made all the difference. After 2 years of living in their property and now going on 3, I can safely say and update that out of my 15 years of renting experience. Mauzy has gone above and beyond. Communication in the beginning was difficult with our rental agent, mainly because he only would text one person in the house, and not respond in a timely manner. Aside from this, I would like to recognize Nina. After trying instead to reach out to someone else since we needed support, we connected with Nina. Rented a twin home in Eagan. The bedrooms and bathroom was downstairs. The basement started flooding, pipes were dripping. Carpets were soaked, doors were swelling. We contacted the on call emergency number they said it wasnt a emergency. We bought a mold kit and it proved to have mold. Plus since we moved in we had many other issues that things were broken like lights wouldnt turn on, stove electric cord would spark due to the plug in was fied, and other issues maintenance took over a month to fix it, we were told we could tare down old chicken wire and replace it with chain link and we proceeded then it all stopped due to they said no after they said yes just because our manager quit. Jill the head property manager is very rude, do we any reply to messages and doe not fix anything then turns around and blames you when you try to get things fixed and you stay on top of it. It takes a month to get your damage deposit back as they hold it for full 21 days. I would NEVER rent from this place again. Save yourself from hassel dont rent Thur them.

I am extremely disappointed with Mauzy properties. My roommates and I moved in to one of their properties in July and we have had several issues since. First, upon move in the house was clearly not properly cleaned. There was food on the floor in the kitchen, and dust covering all of the surfaces in the entire house. On top of that, there were multiple broken appliances that we gave notice about immediately, yet it took weeks upon months for mauzy to send anyone out to fix.Second, the ceiling in one of the bedrooms started dropping dry wall due to a not properly installed shower in the bathroom upstairs resulting in a leak. This caused damage to multiple pieces of furniture and caused us to have to frantically re-arrange the remaining items in that room. Despite this being a safety hazard and extremely inconvenient, it still took Mauzy over 1 month to resolve the issue. Now 2 months later, the same area in the ceiling is dripping large amounts of water, showing that the issue was not properly resolved. We put in the request for someone to come out almost 2 weeks ago, and have heard nothing since.Every communication we have had with anyone from Mauzy since moving in has made us feel disrespected and not valued as renters. Needless to say, we will not be re-signing our lease when it comes time and would not recommend anyone to work with or rent from this extremely unprofessional company.

Do not ever rent with them. They are terrible. Terrible communication, all work orders take at least 2 weeks and 3 requests to fix problem. They kick you out in the middle of a pandemic then they rack up a ton of charges when you move out even when you give them proof of cleaning. They also charge you for things they never had. Our place was a mess when we moved in and we cleaned everything when we moved out and they charged us for every possible thing they could. Very unprofessional and only care about getting as much money from you as they can.

If I could give these people 0 stars, I would. These people are a complete nightmare. RUN! Trust me. You will absolutely regret renting from Mauzy. The property management is incredibly unprofessional. I have never encountered anything like it. I mean, just take a look at the responses from the owner on the reviews. Absolutely unacceptable. Ironically enough, there is no ownership on issues from the owner himself—funny!ALSO, MOST OF THE POSITIVE REVIEWS LEFT ARE NOT REALSOME of The issues were:The place was not cleaned properly when we first arrived to the home upon renting. My own mother was appalled at the conditions of the home when she helped us move in.The dishwasher never worked, and we called management to fix, only for them to tell us there was no issue. It was filled with mold. We gave up after that and only hand washed dishes.Any and every interaction with the property management was beyond unprofessional. Truly. I couldn’t believe how this property management is being managed.One time, management came over to look at an appliance. The technician asked for my wi-fi password. YES REALLY.On another occasion, a technician was blasting music while working on our bathroom. Mind you, I was working from home in very important meetings.Upon ending our lease, I had a package delivered 2 days after I had moved out. No one has moved in. I asked the management people to please check with their employees to see if they took the package, as it was stolen. I received VERY hostile interactions from the owner. He tried manipulating me into NOT calling the police for an investigation, saying that they won’t help me. I have extensive proof that it was received and delivered at the home. I even tried explaining to the owner the contents of the package, but he said “you don’t need to tell me”. Very strange indeed.I could go on and on with issues.DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE. AGAIN, just take a moment to read the responses from the owner, and ask yourself: “is this the type of people I want to rent from”The answer is no.

Once I moved out the problems piled on. So, this rental company sends pictures of all of the problems (some of which they caused themselves) on the property. This includes taking out screws from light switches. Using the door lock to wedge a hole in the wall. All of which was paid for. All of which, was are overcharged for. Because in the end, they choose how much they will bill you for. If you rent from this company, dont leave as much as a smudge on a faucet or A FEW HAIRS in the carpet or they will charge you for cleaning. Make sure you make a list of everything wrong with the property. Because they wont remind you to do so. Overall terrible experience with this company. Will never use them again.
