This review is long overdue.I have a 1967 Mustang that had a two barrel carburetor that I wanted to upgrade. Shawn looked over the car and figured out exactly what was wrong and what needed to be replaced. He was very quick and professional with his work.He installed a new manifold. A brand new four barrel carburetor. He cleaned up the engine, changed and painted a new power steering pump. He did a lot to the car to make it look amazing.I will only be using this place for now on! Shawn was very patient and explained what needed to be done in a way I could understand. I highly recommend Shawn if you need any help with your car! He is the guy!

So Ive known Shawn for many years and have brought him a lot of business. So recently I had taken my vehicle in to get the timing chain replaced spent 2000 or more on parts and labor. Its been about 90 days since the work was done and now my timing chain cover is spewing oil lost all my oil. I took it back to him after getting a diagnosis he said well its been 90 days so there is no warranty told me he doesnt know if its the cover and basically I would have to pay for repairs. That being said everything Ive heard bad about him is finally true. This guy will rip you off charges way to much and doesnt do a good job probably because he has to many of his own projects going to truly take care of his customers. Thank you for ripping me off and leaving my vehicle not drivable right when my son is born.

Shawn is very knowledgeable and Very Honest..I will take my vehicles to him only now .His honesty has saved money, that other repair facilities could have easily charged me 3 times as much for, and have in the past.Gods people are hard to find. Be CAREFUL! I took my vehicle here for a diagnosis. We agreed on a price, which I agreed to, just for diagnosis and then we would proceed accordingly. I get a call back from the owner and he tells me the laundry list of problems that the vehicle has. I did not agree as some of the parts had already been recently replaced or rebuilt. Not an issue that we did not see eye-to-eye, so I told him I would be down to get the vehicle. He then told me the vehicle no longer would start and that he blew up my muffler. WHAT? The car would start no problem before, and my muffler was 100% intact and fine when I took it there. He made no effort to apologize for killing my battery or ruining my muffler. He then tried to charge me full price for his diagnostic work. What a joke this place is, and I would keep my distance from this place. The owner takes no responsibility for his actions and did not even want to help fix the problems he created. I just took my vehicle and got out of there ASAP.

I would highly recommend anybody to go to this repair center. Shawn was more than willing to go out of his way to help me out with my issues with my truck, and willing to work with me on the price. He talked to me and treated me with respect. He’s not like these other big corporation auto shops where they take advantage of you and try to goige your pockets. He’ll let you know before hand if there’s anything that needs to be done to the car. He also let’s you know of other things that he sees, he doesn’t surprise you with all these extra charges at the end either.

My nephew was ripped off by this guy! This guy replaced a flue pump told my nephew it had a warnety so the truck broke down 3 times and left my nephew stranded and charged him more more to fix it! Very unprofessional I dont recommend going here .

This place is very unprofessional and not very trustworthy i wouldn’t recommend going here.i went across the street two winter gardens smog and they helped me a lot more and was more reasonable!!

Went to get a smog he was not able to help me becuase my car at the time needed a star smog place but miguel gave me coupons to a place where i could take it becuse he was not able to do it. I later took my 98 VW Golf to socal Auto for repairs. I was expecting to have to deal with the typical machanic .You know they give you a price and then two days later change it and then bump up the price substantially. When i talked to miguel he was very informative and gave me lots of options. He even has a night drop off for those people that work late. He did a car inspection for me and gave me a quote and he stuck to it. Very professional and tons of knowledge got me driving my VW out of of his shop in less than 5 business days and it only took that long because he was waiting for the parts to come in. Excelent service and i will be returning in the future if i need more work done.

I am most grateful to Mr OBryan for his honesty and expertise in the repair of my van. I have been having smog issues with my van that other numerous well known auto repair shops could not remedy. Mr. OBryan did what no other shop did, he was the only one to check my fuses, he even showed me what fused were spent that worked directly with the smog sensors.Another shop told me that I would have to replace all three sensors at the cost of over$600.00, upon his very detailed diagnostic Inspection of my van, it was concluded that I only needed to replace one sensor saving me hundreds of dollars.I drove my van for a few miles at his request and took it back to his shop to insure the the replaced sensor was working and that everything was clear so that I could take my van to get it smogged.I am so happy to say that it passed with flying colors. I recommend So Cal Auto Repair to everyone who is looking for a mechanic that is very Fair and equitable.
