I like Gordons a lot. Good staff, really good prices on most things and a selection of stuff you cant get at Publix, etc.However.Dont buy eggs there. I bought some Extra Large. I checked the carton before buying. Next morning: very few were extra large and 8 out of 18 were broken on the bottom. I would have returned it but I live 35 miles away.

Great place to find restaurant items as well as bulk items without a membership to a club. Staff very helpful and friendly. Watch prices if you do have a club membership maybe cheaper.. they do have good selection on many items. Check them out if planning a party.

I wanted to give raving reviews on store 1935 in Lakeland FL. Managers and personnel, namely Joshua. I absolutely love shopping here and my experience is largely due to the staff. All three of these individuals have always been highly helpful and their customer service and care is impeccable. Its a pity Im just completing review. They even stop and talk to us (Im a business owner) offering suggestions and talking through scenarios offering to help. The manager(Randy) promised to help me navigate the website when I returned to help me better use their online services. I cant say enough about the experience I always have in this store. Also, the music is always on point! You guys rock!

The food and prices are good. Service is not. One rep was being nasty because someone forgot to wear a mask. She called them entitled and disgusting. I wont shop where someone is spiteful. I believe this woman was a manager at the lakeland store. I dont tolerate someone who speaks behind another persons back.

I love this little store, it has some unique and hard-to-find items that you won’t find in other stores nearby. For example, if you’re a pizza enthusiast then you, my friend, are in luck. Neapolitan style? They got 00 flour. NY style? They got all trumps flour! Not to mention the wide variety of canned tomatoes.Store is clean, the people are friendly. I recommend checking this place out!

Wife, and I stopped in here to pick up some groceries and were delighted to find the laid out Applewood smoked bacon, and fresh meats that we buy in bulk and freeze. Prices are great on most items, and the people are very helpful, and friendly!

The employees that iv met so far were really cool, clean store also. There is no real difference in price compared to Walmart pubilx and Winn-Dixie if not sometimes more expensive than them. I did find bacon was cheaper but after cooking on a electric griddle the whole stove was flooded with grease so much that my stomach went from happy to really sad. 4 stars for the price of items, not judging based on greasy bacon. Just put that in there for a FYI moment. Just because the bacon wasnt very appetizing, the other food could be higher price for a reason, could be delicious.

They have excellent customer service! Store is usually not busy and wait in line is usually very, if any. They have interesting products you cant find together in one place anywhere else, such as French fry baskets in every possible size (think Doritos, popcorn, hot dogs, etc.) and to go packages in all different varieties and sizes with lids too. Also professional chef supplies. There is no membership fee - its open to the public. But dont be fooled by bulk food atmosphere. Many grocery items are more expensive than Publix, so make no assumptions. Bulk spices are awesome and cheap by the pound.

Rather disappointed in pricing; they are not competitive with Sams, Costco or even Publix. Likely will not shop at Gordons again.

Great place for large quanties of items, great selection of everything from spices to paper goods to fresh and frozen foods. They will slice meat and cheese for you. Very clean and neat place and very friendly folks .

Great staff there. They are always really nice and happy to help you find what your looking for. Ive had some great suggestions from the staff also.Try the buffallo chicken cheese (frozen package, around 10 bucks), its delicious!

Gordon is a small grocery facility. However it is well stocked and super clean. Meat prices I felt were very fair. Lots of seasonal items to choose from.

Everything (almost) any baker or chef could want. Really like their products and often find items we cant find else where. Manager is awesome and happy to have us visit his store. Customers are usually very pleasant & happy!!! Would be great to have a GFS store closer to Ocala.

Josh provided excellent customer service in providing helpful telephone service the day before and personalized service when I came to pick up the items needed. I brought a friend with me who had never been to GFS and they are going to use them for the next benefit because they were impressed.

The manager goes above, making sure the customers know he wants us there. ( unlike Sams Club).Last Saturday, September 9,2017 we had to hurry up and finish stocking up for Hurricane Irma. We knew we could grab the rest to of what we needed. Little chafing dish oil lights ( I highly recommend them for emergency lighing.), snacks, you know. On our way to the check out, the manager was marking down baked goods. Because our son is a human vacuum, we grabbed some. At a dollar a package, we grabbed lots. I was looking at a package of yummy looking Danish. Your manager said...its yours, no charge. I almost cried. With the stress of what was coming, his,to him,act of kindness meant more than words. I just him and his employees to get a pat on the back. And a job well done. I will be a life long customer!!By the way, we made it through.
