Americas took over Pats Tax Services a few years ago, so I stayed on and havent been disappointed yet. They complete my taxes within 1-3 business days of my turning in all paperwork. Their fee is reasonable and Stephanie is an absolute gem and a light in that small office.

Paul & his company are honest & extremely friendly. I am so glad he did my taxes this year. I usually end up owing but he took the time to go through everything extensive and was able to explain in simple terms anything we were unsure of.Thanks so much I highly recommend their services and you know I will be back next year.

I have used Americas Tax & Accounting in Lakeland for two years and I never had a problem, until this year. I started working as a Real Estate agent in 2015 and prior to doing so I called Paul to find out how much money I would need to be setting aside for tax season because it was my first time that my taxes would not immediately be taken out of my paycheck and I did not want to end up in a mess come time to pay my taxes. Paul told me 15% should suffice. I repeated that amount to him at least 5 times throughout our conversation. He was sure that I just needed to set aside FIFTEEN PERCENT to cover my taxes for the year. I specifically confirmed that if I was sure to set aside the 15% that I would be completely fine come tax season, NO SURPRISES. After much consideration in January I decided to use a CPA that specializes in small businesses and Real Estate. My new CPA informed me that Paul left out the fact that I would have to come up with an EXTRA 15.3% to cover Social Security and Self Employment Tax! So thanks to Paul I am in a crunch to produce 15.3% MORE of last years income. I cant help but wonder how many other people have been put in this same situation because of Pauls lack of knowledge.
