I would recommend this place to anyone! My daughter is 5 years old and she attends the kids Kickboxing/Martial Arts class twice a week. She loves going to class and gets excited every time she learns new techniques! The staff here is amazing and will help your child learn how to defend themselves in real-world scenarios. Attending these classes has taught my daughter the importance of focus and discipline as well. I am proud of what she has accomplished and am looking forward to what she can learn from her coaches as time goes on!

This location is very thorough with their customer orientation. They carefully walk you through orientation, leaving no question unturned. Tim is possibly the coolest human being Ive ever met. He has an impeccably positive attitude, which I believe is crucial when working closely with other human beings. The staff here is nothing short of professional. When Me and my husband were looking for a place to enroll our daughter into there were so many places to choose from but this one stood out to me. Now that she’s enrolled and just attended her second class I can see why it’s so recommended. Within the first week she is already so motivated to do more chores. She’s a bit clumsy but the instructor Liz is so patient and kind and can get the kids focus and get them to listen. I can’t wait to see the improvements in her! It feels great to finally get back in to practicing martial arts! I have practiced traditional Japanese karate my entire life but I have always had a fascination for Chinese Kung Fu. The moment I walked through Sifu Ochs doors, I was immediately welcomed! The coaches are great and very knowledgeable. Trying to break the muscle memory of traditional karate has definitely been a challenge but Sifu Och and his coaches have been very patient in ensuring that we learn and retain everything correctly. Definitely great conditioning as well! I will continue my training here for as long as life allows me!

My son Maverick just started here a few weeks ago. I finally found something that he is excited to do! He loves the Coaches here and his new friends. He has learned so much so far and is progressing tremendously. The Coaches make it a very fun and exciting class every time. My 8 and 11 year old are taking the kids class here. Besides just teaching self defense, they are learning discipline, respect and focus. It is also a good workout and way to get their energy out. All of the coaches are awesome. Very friendly and engaging.

My sister attends the kids martial arts class twice a week and been going now for a month or so and she absolutely loves it, looks forward to going and learning and I am amazed how far she has come in a short amount of time. The coaches are very attentive with all the kids and with every technique they learn they demonstrate every step along the way and they know how to communicate well for the kids to understand. I have been training here since 2007 and the quality of this martial arts school has consistently improved over the years. Sifu Och provides effective techniques and a family-like environment to learn them. Everything taught in class is encouraged to be tested under pressure. Karate was recommended to me for my son who is a little on the stubborn side. It has been 6 months since we started here and the progress is amazing. I was a student at Sifu Oct Wing Chun 5 yrs ago then my wife and I welcomed a beautiful baby girl. We subsequently moved 40 minutes away and became busy raising our baby. I knew, however, that when she turned 5 we were going to enroll her in the best martial arts school in central Florida and we didnt care how long we would have to drive. Shes been going every Saturday for the last 2 months and she absolutely loves it. As a matter of fact, shes ready to go to bed early on on Friday nights just to get up early on Saturday mornings. Cant say enough good things about this school and its instructors.

We absolutely LOVE Sifu Och Wing Chun Kung Fu. In the short amount of time that my son has been attending the Saturday morning classes I have seen such an improvement in him. The lessons they teach and how they teach them are just amazing and it really sticks with them, I would highly recommend. Since coming to Sifu Och Wing Chun, I have been given purpose, direction, and motivation! Sifu Och and his instructors not only help me improve daily but, they are very supportive. You may not know what you’re doing when you first start however; they offer guidance, private sessions and as well as they interact with you one on one vs other martial arts where they teach you the basics. They also do realistic scenario based training that prepares you for anything outside of the studio, as well as they are well known in the central Florida area. As an army veteran I would recommend if your looking for something to do that can help with PTSD, anxiety, or depression this would be a great martial art to take up. Lastly, they have affordable prices and they not only offer for adults but, they have classes for children with a great promotional system that really translates to responsibilities in and out the classroom.

Its been a LONG time since Ive worked out and I recently joined the kickboxing classes here. Im pretty fluffy so I was a little embarrassed to go at first but I know I needed to. The instructors and my classmates have made me feel so accepted and are all so encouraging! This is a great place to go no matter where you are starting from. I truly feel accepted here!

We have been coming here for the kids classes for my 5 year old and he loves it! It’s a hard workout but they are constantly moving and learning. The instructors are wonderful with kids, we have had a great experience and highly recommend it!

As a new student I enjoy the focus upon practicality that is taught. From the moment I started there was a practicality in function presented. This is a basic defensive block and strike counter,. Once that basic is understood and practiced forms and complexity follow.

At first this was a “too good to be true” just from everything online. Of course everyone has their own opinions. After seeing it for myself Sifu Och really is everything you see online. He has a genuine love for this art and goes above and beyond to teach literally every student everything he knows. He not only has a desire to teach but knows “how to teach” and it shows. Instructor Tim is also great to work with. He shows he also understands what he teaches and is very receptive to any questions you have. From lessons to enrollment to understanding the history of this school he knows it. I would encourage any one even thinking about coming out to at least try it. I drive over an hour and it’s by far worth the cost to get out there.

Sifu Ochs Wing Chun is a great program everyone is helpful and professional. Ive taken Wing Tsun before under a different lineage and am learning how to blend and also new things I havent before. We get in depth explanation of what we are doing and plenty of practice. The main goal is how to avoid getting punched in the face. I highly recommended that you drop by and get some lessons.

Great place for children of all ages to learn self-defense kickboxing and kung fu. My children age 6 and 13 are in class with Mr. Tim. I have never seen someone keep so many young children involved while learning and having fun. Every week my children are excited to go and be in class. I give this awesome place a 10 out of 10!

I have had nothing short of an amazing experience. I have had 3 children attend classes at Sifu och Wing Chen. The instructors knew each kid by name and they gave each kid their attention. My first time visiting this location was this past weekend for a self defense workshop, and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. My daughter is 4yrs old and a part of the Little Lions Saturday morning class. My daughter tends to put herself in a shell in front of others especially those she doesn’t know. I have been trying to get her involved in activities such as these to help break her out of her shell. The instructors are very patient with her, and take the time to help her feel comfortable and they help encourage her to get involve in the class. I have tried to involve her in other activities before and they will just ignore my daughter and let her sit in the corner crying, and just give up on her or not even want to deal with her. So I appreciate Sifu Och Wing Chun for standing out and being exactly what my daughter needs. They have even helped me because when I felt like giving up and not coming back they encouraged me and helped me in any way they could to help my daughter break out of her shell. It took my daughter about 3 months but I am glad I stuck it out with her and had the Sifu Och Wing Chun team helping me through. My daughter has improved tremendously. She no longer cry’s all class, she talks to the other students, she’s comfortable with each instructor and now participates fully in the class. Her confidence has improved, and she is learning to no longer be afraid of being in front of others. Needless to say mommy is now having a blast in the class as well. All the instructors are great, and very friendly. It’s has been an all around fantastic experience for both my daughter and me. Thanks Sifu Och Wing Chun staff for all you do!

This place is amazing. I used to go to Tigers World in the Winter Haven area, but it pales in comparison to this place. I learn something new every time I come, I feel my reflexes enhancing gradually, and the staff are always kind.
