The worst service. Never follow through with what they say they are going to do I lived in 5 different states and this is the worst waste management Ive seen. Someone there is way overpaid

I called to cancel my account in the beginning of August, 2020, as I sold my property. Not only did I not get the refund for the rest of August (because I paid the bill for August in advance), I also kept getting bills until the end of the year. All of this was despite me calling and e-mailing them, notifying them that I did not own the property. Extremely unprofessional!Edit: My balance has been brought to $0 as of January 30th 2021.

This place is a joke their employees are awful. I went to pick up a load there for a customer. And the people in shipping and receiving are a joke. They are awful. The lady got mad at me because I was not parked and faced In the right Direction and threw her hands up and walked back in. That was 45 mins ago and she has yet to come out and get my pick up number for the load. I do not I say again do not recommend this place to anyone. Stay clear of it!!!!!

I picked up a trailer full of cardboard bales, they got me in right away and loaded me very quickly, the people were very nice and it was the cleanest recycling place Ive ever been to.

I called to sign up as a vendor and spoke with the operator from corporate. Instead of providing the right information on how to sign up as a vendor, the operator gave me their snail mail address in Phoenix, so I can send them my information, then said and someone will be in contact with you. No website, no email, no phone number... to send a snail mail like we were in the early 1900s. Their lack of professionalism shows.

Dont use this company. Read the fine print. The amount they quote well add $100 on top of that. By the way watch out for the double bill when you have any overage. IT goes from $192 to $400 to $500 on 1 bill. Oh and when you get tired of such crazy rates and want to cancel they will charge you 6X your last bill when you cancel. Watch out. So now I will have to pay them over $1200.00 to cancel my service. Id rather cancel

Showed up at 0735 for a 0730 appointment. Couple of minutes late but went directly into a dock. Roach Coach rolled in right after I docked so I guess I hit them right at break time. When all was said and done I was there 1 hour 45 minutes. Anytime I can get live loaded under 2 hours I am happy. Everyone was very polite also. I read a lot of bad reviews before I went, so I ended up quite happy with my experience there.

Trust the reviews. These people switch rates on you with every bill. They pick up certain things sometimes and then charge you additional fees for the SAME things at other times. They also charge overage fees for containers that are NOT even remotely full. They are only pleasant to deal with around the time youre scheduled to resign your contract! SHADY business! You will be sorry if you chose them. We are happy to be leaving them for a higher rated trash service. EDIT* They are now harassing us to pay a bill for services we didnt have. Contract ended and containers were removed 7/31/19 and they sent us a bill for services dated 8/1- 8/31 even though we already had a new trash service in place at that time. We sent them proof of our proper cancellation and they even said over the phone that we dont owe the bill yet they keep contacting us via email and threatening to send us to collections. These people are scam artists. *

They only pick up our tiny dumpster for trash, and recycling dumpster. When they pick it up with their hydraulic arm, anything that hits the ground they drive off and the homeowner has to pick it up.

I am so frustated now -i got the bill way higher price than i normally pays -i been calling -carmen and supervisor frank -no response -i send them email multiple times -no response -all they want to do is just add up the bill -i have contract says my bill would be $156 all the time -i understand some fees change -but it can not be $202 -thats what they are asking me now -in my contract it says if my bill is more than $156 -then i keep right to opt out of the contract -but here no response at all from them -i wish i never have done any kind of business with them -i will post this on all social media now and will discuss this matter in our franchise meeting -pretty sure they will loose quite a bit business -this is for subway on recker highwayafter 6 months -same issue again -send them email -no reply -call them -no response -they just dont care about your business -so be careful before signing any contract with this people.

Aug 22 2019. Trash pick up was Tuesday here, it is Thursday now. Everyone but one whole side of the street on Newman circle east got picked up. I dont know if someone quit or what. Me and a bunch of others called but keep getting the run around. But if its not picked up by 6pm tonight Im calling bay news 9 maybe they can figure out whats going on here. Update me again same thing has happened 6 times already. Contacting state officials to do in investigation. June 16 2020 yall got paid to do a service and did not reinder services and thats illegal.

Republic missed my trash pick up 3 weeks ago and never picked it up until last week. So I had to store 3-4 weeks worth of trash. Called every day about missed pickup, and was assured every single day that the trash would be collected that day before end of business. That was a lie.Republic again missed pickup this past Monday. I called yesterday and left a voicemail. I call them back today and its a solid busy signal. No voicemail option.Here is the interesting part, at some point, they must have come by, because they took my little yellow recycle bin but didnt leave the replacement (larger can with yellow top).This company should be fired. They dont care about customers because our taxes pay for the trash pickup so they are apparently not accountable to customers.

This place really sucks. They charged me 250 for a delivery fee of a container. Missed my pick up day for trash 3 times in one month. When i moved 1 month later it took them 26 days to remove the container after calling everyday. And now they are trying to get another 250 dollars for removing the container. What a joke

Drivers: Negative 25 stars dont waste your time they dont care about you or your clock,lady told me to wait at 1200 and would come get me, told me not to get in line behind local guys for scales, figured out she was trying to get them in and out so they could get home. Its Friday I live in nc 10 hrs from home, supposed to be on my way. Its now 4pm. Maybe if they stop getting trucks theyll have more respect. Also as someone else said the setup is ridiculous.

Picked up a load of cardboard here, it is recycled so expect some smell to your trailer when unloaded. Easy in and out, must weigh empty and after loaded. Employees pretty friendly.

How is it No One is filing a Class Action Lawsuit against Republic Services for the way the handled Hurricane Irma. Taking Monday Off and Saturday Off which was a Beautiful sunny day in Florida. Leaving all that debris alongside the road causing a public safety hazard which must have injured several people due to their Negligence and General Lack of Concern for the Public Well Being.

I just want to post this review because I just watched a worker dump our dumpster and 10 pieces of trash at least fell out of the truck and he got out to close the gate so Im sure he saw it and just kept going. If you going to do a job do it right! I Cant stand lazy people!!This is not the first time its happened they do it all the time! Some of the drivers dont close the gate back. Some drivers are better than others.

These guys have a “gotcha” 3 year auto renewal in their contract. After this happened I told them to take off the auto renewal and they didn’t and now I’m on the hook for an additional 3 years at 1000 dollars a month all without approval. PLEASE stay away from this company!

This is the most expensive way to get a dumpster in polk county. I remodeled a house and their prices are 3 times their competitors. Once my contractor told me how expensive they were he referred me to Trash Taxi who has a flat rate. I paid several thousand dollars over an 8 month remodel and they still told me I owed money. If you are reading this DO NOT EVER use these thieves. They collect $500 deposit then charge a daily rent rate while dumpster is there of $5 then pick up fee then dump fee. Its crazy. Trash taxi gave me a 20 yard dumpster flat rate of $300. It was costing me over a $1000 with Republic Services. It should be illegal what they are allowed to do. Learn from my mistake. I tell everyone now how expensive they are.

Drivers...do not come pick up here. Its the most idiotic set up of any place Ive been. Takes forever for check in and thats once you figure out where to go...No instructions anywhere on where to park and check in, etc...The employees fail to give any type of clear instructions and then look at you like youre the dumb one. Come with fuel level full because they scale you after loading you and they try their best to get you at 80,000 on the dot.

This trash collection company is absolute TRASH. Do not use, drive to the dump before paying this unreliable company. They need to go out of business.

I cant give less than 1 star or i would. Terrible service. Missed plscheduled pick ups on multiple occasions and was called a liar on several occasions by my account manager and his boss. The last time they pucked up the container they locked me out of my own business by failing to lock the gate properly. I have asked to be let out of my contract on several occasions and was told that was no problem if i pay a $500 penalty. I will NEVER EVER EVER recommend them or give them my business ever again.

TRUCK DRIVERS:Turn into gate 3 and pull into the building onto the scale. Yes, they want you to nose in your truck inside of the building. There is a spotter that will help you back out once you have been checked in. They weigh you before and after you have been loaded. For inbound loads I would assume you just weigh once.Put your safety vest on, they will ask for it.Once on the scale, go up the steps to your left and to the sliding window to check in.You will be loaded at gates 2 or 3 on the north side of the building. There is room to turn around if you don’t want to blindside.Professional and polite staff. Just had no clue how to check in and it was very noisy inside so I couldn’t really understand my directions

Garbage and recycle pick up was due yesterday and not picked up because of the holiday on Monday I suppose, so its still sitting out there today. I called and get a recorded message that due to the hurricane coming tomorrow, you are closed till Tues! The weather is still clear. You could have used today to get caught up like you usually do. Now I get to drag a weeks worth of stinky garbage and 4 recycle containers into my garage because I cant leave them out there in hurricane weather. Not a happy customer.

STAY away!!! Cancel the load if you have booked it already or you will feel sorry. You have been warned!!! All the negative reviews are true! Long time wait to get loaded! I got there 11am for appointnent 12:30pm and they got me out 8pm. My shift was over only sitting at their yard! Very heavy loads, make sure you get there with a full tanks of fuel! They will load you on max! Tight yard and many rules. They treat drivers like garbage, is not worth it to pick up their loads! Stay away from this place! Cancel the load! Truck drivers and O/O they dont deserve our service!!!!

They will not be picking up trash today, based off hurricane Irma hitting us tomorrow. I totally understand the meaning of safety, but why not pick up Fri or Thur and their excuse was it was a holiday on Monday. Really thats your excuse. Then they came back with mandatory evacuation, and once again that was not till late last night and you could have picked up fri. then you came back with it was a holiday. Really you can not get drivers to come in and pay overtime. What are all these people to do with all the trash for over a week? They could not answer that.

They do a decent job picking up our recyclables, household trash and yard waste most of the time, but we have issues from time to time. Our driveway is the only one on a section of street and we have watched the truck drive by without stopping more than once, especially on holiday schedule. They are apologetic on the phone and come by to get the trash the next day (most of the time).

Recycle truck failed to pick recyclable cardboard that was laying on top of the recycle bin, he just threw it to the side.truck #4521. Cant get through to Lodge a complaint. Poor service.

Yes mixer paper drivers you will be here all day long trying to get loaded. They must be union, slow and rude, mouth breathers. Rude girl in shipping office acts like she is doing you a favor making you wait all day long to load. The yard is also tight to get in and out. My load out of here was rejected in conyers GA, and i had to bring it back here for free. Too much garbage in the recycled material. I cant give 0 stars or I would.

Zero stars for the worst company in Polk County. Our tax dollars go to these bums for what? To NOT pick up yard waste ever week as I was told they should. Supervisor told me that if they couldnt pick it up while they were there that they are to tag it so it can be picked up with a bucket truck within the week. Well there are 3 piles on my street alone that keep growing because they havent done anything in over a month. All they are willing to do is dump a can of leaves or grass and if they are bagged and stacked nice and neat they rip the bags open and throw the empty bags on the ground. I have called in several times over the past year and I get the same story from the supervisor but I continue to get the same results. Perhaps it time to call a news channel out to film and air their efforts on the local news!!

Watched them empty the recycles into the regular garbage then garbage on top of it. That was bad enough and then to top it off the gave the entire Polk County a big FU during their time of need by abandoning them before Hurricane Irma. Knowing it was on the way, they decided to take most of the week off, leaving all the trash out to become projectiles. And to make sure they crapped on the county, they announced that they have no intentions, what so ever to try and make up all the routes they missed. Too bad you cant give zero stars. NEVER do business with these crooks!

Absolutely horrible! Would not recommend! Take your business elsewhere! They dont always pick up on time which causes problems and some of the drivers are flat out rude! If we werent in a contract with them id tell them to take a hike!

Absolute worst excuse for a professional company ever. For years, here in Polk County Florida, they are, at best, unreliable at doing the basic requirements of their job for the residents of Polk county. Weekly garbage collection is hit or miss with many times the Friday pickup, not done until Saturday or Monday and only after many calls are made by the residents. Recycling pickup is left up to the discretion of the person driving the truck. When they do pick it up, the bins are slung all over the neighborhood and a few times they have even been seen just throwing the entire bin into the truck and driving off (Theft). Yard Debry pickup creates as big of a mess as the one the home owner was originally trying to clean up, sometimes requiring a cleanup of the cleanup, only to be left for the following weeks pickup.Theres a very good reason why they are no longer contracted by the County for waste pickup. If the review could allow less than 1 star, Republic has earned it.

Hey Brian, i hope this message gets to you. For about 10 weeks weeks Ive been throwing out old styrofoam mostly 1 bag at a time. Each week the driver, either forgets to pick it up, or drives over it, and makes a bigger mess out of this. Each week,i pick up the mess, then i have to call republic, or the county, about it, to have it removed, by another driver, to mow my lawn. How many more times do i need to call? What would happen if I put 2 bags out???? Is this waste management revenge?

I had an account with republic services (doing business as FLORIDA REFUSE) after they bought out Trash Taxi.At the end of my contract I canceled (or at least tried to cancel) my account.They not only didnot pick up thier container they continued to service the account and bill for service. After repeated calls they said I had to cancel in writing and they would email the form to me. They didnt. The service was sold to another company (may be why they didnt want to cancel) that canceled the account OVER the phone.NOT recomended!!!!RUN dont walk away if you need SERVICEShould make them remove SERVICE from thier name!Rated 1 star because no negitive value was available!

Worst service ever. We just moved to the area and had a bunch of moving boxes etc. They are going on 3 weeks without picking it up even after calling daily to try and get a bulk pickup. Customer service tells you they will pick it up the next day, but nothing they have said has been true yet...

Im glad they come and get my trash. I just wish they werent pissed off about it!! Terrible PR!!!

Over billing and shady business practices folks please read the back of your contract with these folks the automatic renewal it they dont receive a certified letter with in 30 days of expiration and automatic price increases after the contract expires which the customers hands are tied for a year with a bill thats twice what they signed up for

They do not follow up on their promises nor do they value customer service.

It takes several weeks for the bulk items to be picked up, not the 3 business days. Recyclables are not picked up half the time, and we have not had trash pick up in nearly 2 weeks.

The people in the office are rude as hell.

Piss poor company missed my trash last Wednesday been calling everyday and we will get it today well here it is Tuesday and they still havent picked it up.
