Dr. Fernandez and her staff are very kind and comforting. I called in the morning because I had a loose crown and was able to get seen the same day! I was a new patient so was happy they were able to get me seen so quickly.

I had many issues with my teeth from procrastinating because I did not want to deal with the “dentist. Then I chipped a tooth and was referred to Highland Dental Clinic. The entire process of bridge, root canal and fillings was simple & painless. They were able to accommodate my schedule and get me in with little or no waiting each time. Dr. Fernandez & the entire staff are professional, efficient and make sure you are always comfortable by reminding you to let them know if there’s anything you need. I have already scheduled my first cleaning And truly don’t mind going to “the Dentist”.

Dr. Fernandez and her staff are very knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. I went there in July for a routine cleaning and was informed I had chipped one of my teeth from clenching. The hygienist Kim was very kind, made me feel comfortable, and did an amazing job of cleaning my teeth. I came back to have my filling done and the doctor did a great job, the procedure was quick and painless! The assistants and front desk also made me feel comfortable and welcome. They don’t overcharge and will not recommend any procedures that aren’t necessary. They also spent a great deal of time making the perfect mouth guard for me, thank you Antonella and Kim! Overall would highly recommend this office for all your dental needs!

So far, so good! It was my initial visit. I was greeted cordially. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The doctor was personable and efficient. The x-ray tech was very good. The doctor explained what needed to be done and why. Then the staff explained the procedures and the costs. I was able to start as early as today, but I opted for after my next paycheck and they were fine with that. All in all, I am very pleased!

I have a very small mouth. Its hard for me to open wide and keep my mouth open for a long period of time. Most dentists get aggravated when cleaning or doing fillings, but Dr. Fernandez was very patient, understanding and gentle. Her staff is kind and helpful. I highly recommend her.

Love the facility very clean. I love Dr. Blanca Fernández she take her time and explains her findings and plans for treatment. Friendly staff. Price is a little expensive but your getting quality work. I gave it a four because for a lower volume clinic my wait times where a little much. But definitely great 👍🏽

I have a confession for the World Wide Web...I had a mouthful of bad choices, and I didnt floss..I had ANOTHER broken tooth, and it had to be extracted. Along with this extraction, I needed MANY fillings..too many to confess. There is a young man named Alex, who works for Dr Fernandez. Alex assisted The Doctor for my extraction . As I mentioned, I needed several fillings which most were completed the day after removing my bad, broken tooth. Alex cleaned my bottom teeth wonderfully, with such care that I didnt feel a thing. Then he stood by Dr Blanca for 2 hours straight as she worked, assisting with pure professionalism... Alex made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Thank you Mr Alex and Dr Fernandez for the best Dental experience, EVER!! I WILL make better choices... Like flossing, because of you both.....

This clinic is the friendliest, most helpful place I have been to. Dr. Fernandez is so kind and gentle and made this experience a good one and I am the worlds biggest chicken about going to the dentist!!!! I wanted the dental work done for years but because of my fear, just couldnt bring myself to get it done. Then I decided it was necessary to be healthy. I was retiring from work and wanted to be a healthy senior citizen. Dr. Fernandez and the assistants knew I was afraid. She explained every procedure and checked on me many times as the work was done. If you are apprehensive at all about going to the dentist, please check out Dr.Fernandez and the Highland Dental Clinic. I was not disappointed and appreciate the care that I received.

Not a fan of the dentist to begin with... Shes seems very sweet... But looks can be deceiving!!! They hurt me on my first visit!!! Second time wasnt as bad... But then she stopped working on my teeth in the middle of a visit and told me to find another dentist! Because I asked questions... What a see you next Tuesday! And they charge to much!!!

Dr. Fernandez deserves five stars!She is a very sweet caring lady and makes me feel well when I walked in for an appointment. I am usually terrified of going into the dentist but I felt comfortable with Dr. Fernandez!Her staff on the other hand does not! More specifically a gentlemen by the name of Nelson, whom works with making sure the insurance is up to date.I was so offended with his tone and language that I even contemplated on going to a different dentist!I hope they get an upgrade on the Front desk staff as well, they will lose good paying customers because of employees such as Nelson.

5 stars for my first visit. Professional and friendly staff and examination. I really appreciate the process - first the exam and development of the plan, the written estimate of the plan and the consideration of cost and time when making the appointments. There was no pressure to make a decision for an immediate procedure. Dr and staff are bilingual in at least English and Spanish.

Update: Did better research this time and found a new dentist office with more knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful staff. They showed me the x-rays and I have one small cavity that needs to be filled. When I went to Dr. Fernandezs office a year ago she told me I had a long list of problems that needed to be addressed but didnt show me the x-rays. Im glad that I never went back to her. I would have wasted my money and had unnecessary work done on my teeth.Original review: Staff were mostly friendly. Hygienist seemed new to x-rays. She kept putting it in my mouth in painful positions but I bit down right where she told me. It repeatedly was in the wrong position and she had to reposition it then seemed to get frustrated with me about it. I was very honest with all staff about my dental habits, good and bad. I floss every day and not a single staff person believed me. Very judgmental about it. Will see if I can find a dental office that suits my needs better.

Staff is patient and very kind. Dr. Fernandez is a very good dental care provider and a joy to work with. They made this “Nervous Nellie’s” experience a really great one and have almost eliminated the dread I have experienced for years with dental work. Great, caring team! Highly recommend.

This place is great. Dont pay any attention to gigi. I just got a crown and it definitely didnt cost 4000 dollars. Thats just ridiculous. Everyone here is awesome and so friendly. Very professional and very good at explaining everything.

Date April 11, 2017. Took my 16 year old son to have his twice a year cleaning. First time to Dr. Fernandez. Dr. Fernandez said he had 6 cavities. Found that to be odd as my son has a check up every 8 months and never had cavities. Got a second opinion the following day and that dentist said he has NO cavities. She went on to say, Dr. Fernandezs report is completely wrong. She is a fraud. I would not spend a second writing an email unless it would help the consumer. DO NOT GO TO HER. Im reporting her to the FL Dept. of Health. FYI: Ive called her office twice to discuss and she will not return my call.

I started coming to Dr. Fernandez last year, and I have really enjoyed having her as my dentist so far. I am an EXTREMELY fearful patient, and huge baby when it comes to dental work. She is patient and kind, and walks you through what she is doing. The entire staff is friendly and makes you feel cared for, and safe. I highly recommend her to anyone, especially if you have anxiety/are fearful such as myself.

Ive been going to Dr. Fernandez for the last 7 years and I want to say that she is the most caring dentist. Her whole dental are amazing. There are times when she has someone that is new and that is okay, because she will explain everything to them so they know exactly what she expects them to do.

Found her when I moved to Lakeland. I scheduled a check up for my husband (who was having pain) and I. She was super nice, and professional, as was her staff. Plus she was covered under insurance. She told me I needed 9 fillings and probably a cap, and my husband he needed 14 fillings and 2 caps. It had been a few years since I saw a dentist, but I never needed that much work in my life, and I wasnt even in any pain! Went to my familys dentist in Bartow (who I had been to before, and left a review on him as well), and he told me I needed one filling and my husband needed 2 or 3. Since getting work done with him, my husband has been pain free! She would have cost us thousands of dollars each and months of time in appointments and pain. If she recommends you need work, please do yourself a favor and get a second opinion, just in case! Its well worth it in time and money.
