Ive been going to Kirklands for years. All of the guys are great and can always schedule me when I need a haircut. The owner makes sure that only the best barbers work there and no matter who you choose their all great. But, if your looking for an exceptional haircut, I would highly recommend DJ. The man is a beast!

These guys are good. Never had an appointment, just walked in ! Taken right away and walked out for about $20.00. Great service and good conversation.

Jay was my first experience going to a Barber for my haircut. I have used SportsClips for the past 7 years. My friend recommended Jay for a professional haircut, and I needed it quickly. Jay was fortunately available and did the best haircut I have ever had. I scheduled an appointment about a month later and this haircut was even better. This place is great. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, it’s a great vibe. I take my kids here for haircuts.DJ is superb. He gave my son his first haircut at age 2 and he’s perhaps the most calm, gentle, and accommodating person I’ve encountered in ages; he does an amazing job with my toddler every time.Everyone we’ve seen has been kind and attentive. Highly recommend.

Great shop with friendly barbers. Appointment or walk in available. 5 barbers on duty when I went. Dont have to pay cash like some shops. Convenient by the Beef OBradys in the Lake Miriam Publix shopping center on South Florida Avenue.

I’ve had Lindsey cutting my hair for 13 years now. Every experience has been consistently awesome. He’s always done amazing work, had great guys working for him, and the shop has been a great place to be in. These days I drive an hour out of my way to come see him for my haircuts because no one else can compare. I’ve recommended and will continue to recommend Kirkland’s for years to come. Kirklands Barber shop barbers are professional in their area. The place is well maintained and clean. The ambience is family friendly. They take walk ins and appointments. Prices are affordable and they have the convenience of electronic payments. Ask for Alex Chiaffarano or Ayala. Very cool guys!

Still one of the best barber shops in Lakeland. Old school Vibe with some great guys. Currently they are taking mostly reservations just for social distancing purposes however they do have some availability for walk-ins. Go check him out and you will not be disappointed. Bring cash though because they do not mess around with credit cards.

I booked for Jay based on a recommendation from a friend. I came in and had one of the best conversations I’ve ever had in public since Covid-19. In conjunction with the great conversation, his cut was impeccable. Clean, precise, and decently priced. My usual barber had to take up a different job due to the outbreak, so I’m glad that I found a new one who does amazing work as well. 5 stars 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🤙🏽

I’ve taken my 11 year old son to Kirkland’s since he was about 3. They are always welcoming, kind and were very patient with him when he was a little guy. Lindsey Kirkland is the owner and it’s obvious he takes pride in his business. We are thankful for Kirkland’s Barber Shop!!

Wow.Worst haircut in my life. Each side of my head looks like 2 different bad skin cuts. Uneven and crooked. Owner just watched and did not stop in to correct it. New barbers I never seen before here and not many customers. Place is different. I wont be going back. Going home to take a bic razor to my head now.

Absolutely LOVE this shop!!! After visiting a few other shops this one is by far the best as far as service and the quality of the cuts. I am especially impressed with Abraham and his talent. This shop is in a good location, but they lack a certain degree of professionalism. After walking in and waiting for 20 minutes, someone finally asks if I have an appointment. No. Well, sorry, we dont have any availability until late this afternoon.There is no sign posted ANYWHERE requiring an appointment. There is no mention of it at all. If youre enforcing appointments only, them maybe make a sign, or ask customers when they arrive, NOT 20 minutes later. Thank you for wasting my time.I came here under a friends recommendation, but youve squandered that.

This is a real Barber Shop, theres occasionally some children here that provide a lot of entertainment, but its always packed and they move through the crowd at a reasonable rate. Its family-owned and the owner is a really great guy. You can tell that the staff has a family dynamic, and it just makes it a fun place to be while you wait. Theres great photos on the walls if you turn around and look behind you. They always keep the conversation appropriate for all age levels, and you can always find something fun to talk about on a group level. They give a great haircut at a reasonable price.

Barbers are very slow..barbers seem to not want to cut hair. If your a good barber it should take around 15 min a head. These guys were having to go to each side come back with clippers for missed spots. Only one barber with a big beard could cut hair properly and was able to cut a black mans hair the others just looked lost

I had previously left a negative review based on my experience with their walk-in service. Since switching to appointments only, I am more than pleased with my experiences at Kirklands. It is now my go-to barber shop as the barbers there are all friendly and give fantastic haircuts. I leave Kirklands every time as a confident man.

Under staffed and slow for a busy shop! Seems as though a barber was going to break everytime I turned around leaving a heavy customer presence still waiting. The fact that this shop allows appointments is cool but when you only have THREE barbers on staff on certain days it shouldn’t be allowed. I gave 2 stars, 1 for having to spend my valuable time waiting, and 1 for an OK haircut.

Perhaps you should give customers numbers? I understand you have regulars that people always go to but common courtesy in seeing who is actually the next person to be seen. Highly disappointed!!

Just got a cut, I have a difficult head of hair so Im literally scared to get hair cuts from time to time. Always forget his name but the last barber has to be one of the most skilled barbers Ive gone to. I gave him 4-5 pieces of information on how my hair works before i even sat down. He stared intently and listened to every one with respect (barbers have rolled their eyes at me before). Perfect cut, didnt take long, the gentleman in the back, sorry I dont remember your name but you did awesome man. Love this place.

I have been to the shop four times in the last four- five months. The first two times I had a gentleman that did a very good job on my hair. Unfortunately he left. the last two times I received the worst haircuts of my life. the very last time, today, was absolutely the worst. They “cut by number”, meaning they have no skill, but use the shaver to do the work. NEVER GO THERE.

Ive been a regular here for over 2 years I think. Ever since I had to volunteer to get a haircut at Travis Carrer center for my sisters cosmetology class. Steven is still my barber and I would highly recommend any of the other barbers here as well.Amazing talent and they dont make you spend your whole wallet. Plus they have magazines and usually history or discovery channel on to watch. Very friendly set of people here.
