This place was just ok today. I dont know why cause normally everything is just so delicious and everyone is very nice. Also the man cooking the steaks tonight was very mean and rude. Been coming here for years and always have rated great til tonight.

Good choice of comfort food. Pot roast is always great. My husband loves their steaks. Great salad bar too. We often end our meal with a bowl of one of their fabulous soups. Not gourmet or anything, but it sure beats Cracker Barrel.

Choices unlimited. You want it, you can get it. Very friendly staff. Food is great.

For someone like myself who has been in hospitality for years as a chef and as a g m in the restaurant field, this place was not really good. None of the staff had energy, the manager on duty was lost in space. A empty buffet is not a good look to a guest when there paying 35$ for two to dine in. There wasn’t much to choose from a lot of the items were sides and looked frozen. The food wasn’t flipped and we’re pouring new on top of old and mixing it. The bourbon chicken was a mess two different colors. If i was a g m here I would be on everything that’s goes around in here. Getting high energy people in here to work be more inviting. The goal is to get people to come back.. the carpet in here needs to be replaced and this restaurant needs a uplift looks old, the odor in here wasn’t pleasant. I can keep going but whatever

The quality is average .No large breaded shrimps and no sweet potatoes casserole any more.But service always good

Good food ate way too much since Charlotte county Golden Corral is still closed down and this one was my favorite when lived up here for almost 10 years glad they had masks on and had gloves by salad bar but wish customers would not take food out of dish then put it back if they dont want it without gloves on or should have more gloves at each station or let customers know please use gloves by salad bar came in for my and my fiance birthday

The food just wasnt great. This location is old and very dirty.3 stars for a nice server and banana pudding. Would not recommend.

This was the first time my husband has ever been to this restaurant he loved it. I have been many times and have never been disappointed they have very fresh food.

Restaurant was cleaner than last time visiting. Food was fresher and atmosphere was more enjoyable. Big improvement.

I think it was lunch 3pm. Gotta to expense for me. My salad was great but not worth 17.00, also a small piece of fish.

Worst restaurant in Golden Corral Ive ever been to. the food is cold and there is not much (empty trays) 3pm. Disgusting bathrooms. The only except is the good attention of the servers. Im definitely not coming back!

The people behind the glass in the buffet line acted like i wasnt standing there. I only wanted turkey and dressing no one said anything and pretty much ignored me. I moved on and got some thing else. Spent a lot of time wondering where the wait staff was, waiting for dishes and plates to be removed. Waiting for refills.But hey, What do you expect for a buffet restaurant?

With the servers that was there today I would not recommend to anyone else that might get those servers.. We was there around an hour, a totally of 7 guests(tables),,, not just us but all 7 tables never saw either of servers.. I did notice that as soon as a table got up to leave they both went to the table for that tip,,,So sad yall wont wait on the people while they are there, but yall damn sure look for that tip...Grrrrrrrt

I had stopped going to Golden corral because it always smells like pee and isnt very clean. But this location is clean and the food was great. Not one complaint.

They are working very hard with such a crowd it was impressive even the manager got out there he was busted but whale group call workers that I saw

I gave it 4 stars only because they didnt have much to choose from. The food we ate was good and fresh. I wish I could remember our waitresses name because she was great! The rest of the staff was also friendly.

No masks required for buffet. So if you are infected, we are not safe.

I come here for my homestyle meals. I find the to-go plate convenient. I always make room for their fried chicken. The skin is so crispy. Just remember, if you are doing the to-go plate, the price is by the pounds so choose wisely.

Recently Ive been getting a dozen rolls as take out. Their rolls are soooo good! Any way, its always friendly, clean, smells great. I would have given 5 stars but I noticed that on the right from facing the chefs, the booth are available to seat down at but back to back booths are being occupied. With this covid going around I would have every other booth. I didnt see the other side of the booths and how they were being used.I want to eat there but that kinda threw me off. I took my rolls and went home.

The food was very good. All staff adhered to the mask and glove protocols. Bathroom was a little dirty but not to bad. The booth we sat at the seat portion was broken amd there was no cushion so it was very hard and uncomfortable. This restaurant for the most part is good it just needs some upgrades or better seats.

It was disgusting nobody was wearing masks I walked out! I guess thats Polk county for you!

Love this place and Michelle our waitress is the greatest. They didnt have alot of food choices that they usually have, but i know that is due to covid 19. But we still love this place no matter.

Ive been to many GC and some are better than others. This GC is standard in comparison. I am certain the bogus precautions today are contributory to the different serving protocols. The food is standard. Nothing stood out but I didnt leave any food on my plate :-). The Salad bar was cool and fresh and the hot side was rotated regularly.

Theres not a NEGATIVE star review. I arrived at 630 pm on a TuesdayWent to find a table but we were surrounded by 6 empty tables; all were filthy, stood there for around 5 mintues for any waitress to acknowledge us so we can ask for any table to be cleaned and waited for her to bring us plates. While waiting, I used the bathroom to wash up. The bathroom was gross: trash & TP all over floor and dirty sinks with no towels. When I asked waitress to clean table she cleaned half, I had to ask her to wipe off the food on other half too. For it being only 630; the food should not have been dried out with 3 baked potatoes I cut were burnt & hard! I will never go back! The GC in Winter Haven is cleaner!!

Service was non-existent. From the unfriendly woman greeting us at the register to our table being forgotten by the wait staff despite small requests like ketchup or a soup bowl. My first drink was never even refilled so I left thirsty, having to buy a drink on the way home. Never again.

Food was good and fresh. Staff was very friendly. Patrons were spaced 6 feet apart and wore masks when at the buffet. Will go back.

Nasty my husband and I ate there this morning for breakfast and I found hair in my food.

We dont usually care for buffets, but the location nearest us on 98N in Lakeland, and the one in Zephyrhills, are both above average, have some really nice selections, clean and very nice owners and staff.

Food: For a buffet I would say on the higher end. (FYI I have eaten at Golden Corrals a fair amount.Service: I first thought are waitress was having a bad day the first time she said something, turns out she was just busy at the moment but she ended up friendly and very attentive.Safety: For a buffet they are doing what they can, distance markers, new plates are brought to your tables, areas with direction where to start, must wear mask while getting food.If you dont like wearing masks, not a place to go right now, they are really strict, personally, I dont care of people do or dont, I dont like to in most situations but I am not going to pitch a fit if they say I need to either.

Food is good but, I dont like this place. They say you have to wear a mask but some of their staff is not wearing them. Then costumers are walking around with the them below their nose and there not enforcing the rules. #DoubkeStanders!!

I give 5 stars on the factor that 9 times out of 10 this place has great food. Everyone has their off days. But as far as lakeland goes this is the best golden corral in town. Hands down.

Worse experience here the food not so great recommend going to another place the waiter were not to nice because they had so much other tables to tend to and 6 of use sat in a 4 seat table because the 6 seat was unavailable.

Pros: Food is great and decent prices.Cons: Several staff members are rude and really dont care about being there(Not the servers). Theres also a few things I noticed last time I was there. The restaurant smells as if the carpets havent been cleaned in ages, one of the employees went to use the bathroom and walked out without washing her hands, and the ice cream machine always seems to be out of product. I wish they would maintain the restaurant better. As a restaurant general manager, I pride myself in making sure my store is cleaned thoroughly every day. I understand foot traffic, but maintenance/cleanliness and product quality go hand in hand. If these things are fixed, it would be a 5 star rating restaurant. Hands down.

I Went There With A Family Of 6 And The Only Con To The Situation Was The Family Dining Area. There Is Not Enough Space To Eat Comfortable. The Aisles Were Very Narrow. The Space Provided Was Very Tight To Get Threw With The Amount Of Space Already Provided. Overall I Give It A 3 Star Rating Based Off Of A Pro And Con Stand Point...

It was pretty good and santize and face mask required to enter and to get food of buffet but once u sit down in the table you can take it off your mask and the waiter give you your own several plates and silverware🤗
