My parents contacted Eco Tek pro for an estimate for cleanup of bio hazardous material as a result of an elderly and ill tenant who had recently vacated their rental property. EcoTek was the third estimate we collected.My mother placed a call to Rico who came out on the same day to view the property and provide us with an estimate. He came prepared with a respirator and gloves which told me immediately he was well educated. Several other salesmen did not have gloves or proper face coverings which did not make a good impression on us.After allowing Rico to access the property he came out and discussed the scope of work that was necessary to make this unit safe again. He also noted that the shower area had a considerable amount of mold (which was backed up with photos) and highly suggested this be removed.He spent quite a bit of time with us on site answering any questions we had and provided us with a written estimate via email. My mother made several phone calls to him to ask questions and he was extremely helpful via telephone. This was very important.We decided to go with EcoTek and the job was started almost immediately. This was extremely helpful as it provides rental income.I have the utmost confidence that my parents rental property unit was sanitized and restored back to a healthy home. EcoTek Pro really came thorough for me. I discovered a leak in my daughters room which was staring to show some mold. I called Rico and he responded within an hour or so in order to assess the situation. Rico was personable, professional and extremely thorough in his explanation and what he had to offer us. I noticed some white spots on the wood in the attic space above my garage and was afraid it may have been the start of a mold. I called Eco Tek Pro and Rico Garcia responded within 40 minutes to evaluate the area. Rico was able to make a determination that the white spots in the attic area were from the overspray when the interior garage ceiling was popcorn sprayed. I was fully prepared to pay a service fee for Ricos response and evaluation, however he would not accept any payment. I would highly recommend Eco Tek Pro to anyone who is need of their services. Extremely professional, and obviously based on what I wrote in this review they are not looking to charge you for any unnecessary services. Nice to know there are still honest hard-working people around. Highly Recommend.

I was overwhelmed by a major mold issue but that was no problem for EcoTek Pro. They really went above & beyond and exceeded my expectations. They are hard working, courteous, knowledgeable, professional, accommodating, efficient, AND by far the least expensive of all of the companies that I contacted. While its wise to get several estimates when doing such projects, it would be a mistake to hire anyone other than EcoTek Pro.

There are so many great things to share about my experience in working with Rico and his team. First, Rico was incredibly responsive from start to finish. He was fully present in each and every conversation. He was right on when he made his assessment of my property, yet he also listened and addressed my concerns. There is definitely a sense that he is 100% committed to deliver results. I would absolutely recommend Rico. In fact, so much so that he has now become a preferred vendor for our condominium association due to excellent service, his commitment to achieving results and the rapport we were able to build during the remediation job.

Rico, the owner, is so professional, knowledgeable, thorough, prompt, personable, honest and more. I called last Saturday knowing office hours are Mon-Fri 9:00-5:00. He called me back immediately, came Monday to assess and performed service Thursday. Arrives when he says he will and finishes your job. A big section of ceiling by the return had to be replaced and he also sent me a great drywall guy. Both days I was able to comfortably leave the workers in my home while I was at work. I have a roof AC which makes condensation and over a long period of time, created mold. He and his team cleaned out all mold in and around ductwork, vents, walls and all surfaces. Then he left 2 HEPA air scrubbers over night. I can smell a huge difference in the air in my home now. After looking at several companies, I believe his pricing is more than fair and he doesnt sell you any service you dont need. So nice to find such integrity.

My son had mold in the back of his closet due to rain water coming in through the wall. The ecotek guys came and took care of everything. Theyve certainly given us a lot of peace of mind. They did a great job! I would highly reccomend them!

The guys at EcoTek are very personable and seem to know what theyre doing but please get a Clearance Test if you hire them for mold remediation, and youll find that you still have plenty of mold left behind. One of the first things they did was to bring contaminated items from the moldy bedroom to the living room without HEPA vacuuming or treating them, thereby contaminating my living area even more. I have pictures. Also, they didnt remove obviously moldy wood, plus two feet more, as required by EPA guidelines. All four areas where they removed some drywall had moldy wood and/or baseboard left behind and untreated. The tests showed several types of dangerous mold remaining. I dont think they even used their treatment product, or else it doesnt kill or seal in mold spores at all, per the testing. Be careful using these handyman types to do a serious project.
