This auto repair shop is amazing, family owned and operated and a nicer more helpful bunch youll be hard pressed to find anywhere! Ive used them in the past as they are just a few blocks away and I cant speak highly enough about any aspect of their business and how they treat their customers. I brought my Accent in for AC failure and Bob told me what to do, I followed his instructions and now Im only paying a $50. Deductible as opposed to potentially $1,000. The kicker is, hes not doing the repair, the dealer is! Im having him do an oil and air filter change as I had to give him some business for his kindness. I will also, as always, come to him first when something is not right with my car. They will always treat you right, give you total honesty and charge a fair price for their work. You cant do any better than right here. Theyre directly across the street from The Farmer Girl restaurant (great place to eat if waiting for your car).

Ive known Bob and his son Vinnie for about 5 years and I cant say enough about them. Theyre an old-school family-owned, local auto repair shop and they treat all of their customers like family. I live in Palm Beach Gardens (about a 25 minute drive away), but its easily worth the drive for the peace of mind and comfort in knowing that I wont be taken advantage of.We recently dropped off my sons car for repair. The car was significantly sputtering on start and when driving. Of course, we had no idea what to expect. They could have told us that we needed an alternator or fuel pump or a whole new engine (for $700 - $4,000+ ?)We dropped the car off on a Sunday night and left the key in an envelope through the drop slot in the overhead door. Vinnie called me 1st thing Monday AM and he told me that we needed a new battery and spark plugs for a total of $ 300. including labor and materials and the car was ready for pick-up by 11am.If you enjoy wasting money going to dealers or most other auto repair shops then Bob Davis Auto Repair is not for you. Second time at Bob Davis auto repair.My truck kept dying next to my office, couldnt even limp it to the shop, i called vinny, he gave me the number to a reasonably priced tow truck, the truck came out in 20 min and bob and vinny paid for the tow and charged me later!I asked them to check my battery and my AC system (its been out for the better part of a year, and were in south Florida during the summer) i tired to recharge the AC system with a $30 can from Walmart but to be honest im not the greatest DIY guy) vinny charged my system and added a new battery terminal connection as mine was old and loose and rusted. I was out of there for under $300 including a tow, and MY AC WORKS!!!! most other places would have taken advantage but not these guys!In short If you want honest work at an honest price go see Vinny and his pop Bob at Bob Davis Auto Repair, these are the kind of mechanics that youd recommend to your grandmother!!

My Truck broke down 1/2 mile from the shop and i just happened to find it on a google search, Im lucky i found these fellas, they repaired the problem in less than 24 hours after i walked in with no appointment and had me back on the road. Extremely fair price Good quality work, they only repaired what was needed to get back on the road, its an old truck so there are more than a few issues with it but nothing that makes it unsafe, got my breaks done too, Vinny and Bob Are great people and if you want a trust worthy mechanic you found em. ill be coming here for all me and my wifes future auto repair and maintenance needs.

One of my experiences - Nissan Murano 2017 had an AC issue...Took it to Tire Plus because it was next to my work. They asked over $ 1,000.00 to fix it. I took it to Bob Davis Auto Repair. The issue was so simple it cost me less than $ 100.00. It has been more than a year and the AC is still running fine.

Took our car here after the dealer said we needed $600 in repairs. The quote here over the phone, based on what the dealer told us was wrong, was in the $400-range. But Vinny looked and told us we were fine. Where the dealer made my wife feel like her car could break down any minute, Vinny eased the fear and reassured her that she had MANY MANY miles before that happened. Honest mechanics do exist and we found one here!

Good service w power steering leaks

Paid them over $100 to fix a problem I was having with my Jeep with it stopping on me if I drive it more than an hour at a time. I worked with vinny and was told the problem was fixed, it wasn’t! I drove up to Minnesota days after the repair(they knew I was going to do this) and it’s been a problem since. Talking to vinny after the fact and was refused my money back. Was told “well we fixed another problem so why would we refund you?” The thing they “fixed” wasn’t causing me problems at all so basically paid them to fix something that wasn’t giving me issues. Save your money and go somewhere else!!!!

I believe older cars are built better, to last, if you take care of them. I have an older mustang and I love her. BOB DAVIS is the ONLY place I will take her too. Right now as I speak I have had a rather expensive thing that needs to be done and BOB DAVIS has been putting a bandaid on this problem until I could come up with the cash to fix it. I dont know of any other place that would do this. I have turned my boyfriend on to BOB DAVIS and he knows a lot about trucks and cars and he will not take his autos to another place. If theres something that they cant do they will refer you to another place.
