Man doesnt know what he is doing. Wanted to charge us $450 to change out two lines. Ended up going to Lake Worth Auto on Dixie. Guy changed it for $150 and even found another small issue. He didnt charge us much to fix the additional issue.

Lost my business with a snarky remark. Already knew what was wrong with my vehicle, so before having him come out I asked how much he’ll charge for something like that. He responded with some nonsense about how “I don’t have free services I charge to come out there and diagnose your issues” Well yeah, I was planning on paying you to come out (figured like most other mechanics the diagnosis charge would be applied to the job total) but was so turned off from that rude “I don’t have free services” remark, that don’t feel like paying him $1,000. Anyway, you might consider learning to speak to customers respectfully and professionally, if you want to run a successful business. Could have gained a loyal, paying customer.

Chris came out and diagnosed the issue within thirty minutes. I ordered the parts, he came back and installed them. Simple efficient service. Straight forward, no surprise nonsense charges. Would use again.

Highly recommended!I wish i could write a second review, since I used this service for the 2nd or 3rd time, and since my friend/roommate has also started using the service. I’m adding this paragraph as of April of 2021. I started using the service a couple of years ago. Still highly recommended!I have an old ford ranger that was not starting and i was pretty sure that the problem was with the starter. After being quoted $209 (just for the new starter) by a well known garage whose name is often associated with good tires 😉 I called Chris and he directed me where to get the starter myself for half the price, then he came out and installed it quickly, same day. The truck still wouldn’t start, but he showed me what I should try next and how to do it. The additional part was only $30 and i was able to install it myself, but I was expecting that I still would have to call him to come back. The truck started up pretty easily and is still starting with no problems.I would recommend this service to anyone as a more affordable option than towing to a garage and feeling trapped. Chris is courteous and friendly, solved my problem and I never once felt like I was being overcharged or lied to. My truck was repaired with less money and hassle. Last month on 10/15/19 I had a shifter cable replaced on my 2005 Trailblazer. The work was done promptly and the price seemed fair. Fast forward to 11/14/19, one month after the work was done. I ended up stranded because the original repair done by Affordable Mobile Mechanics was done incorrectly. I called to see if he could come that day to fix it and the response I got was, Ill try.... I then took my car to my regular mechanic (who was on vacation at the time I needed the original repair done, which is why I called the mobile mechanic). I had my mechanic fix the repair that was not done correctly. I needed the repair done that day and could not wait for Affordable Mobile Mechanics to do it when he got around to it. I had to pay $50 to have the cable reconnected correctly. When I called Affordable Mobile Mechanics to ask about a refund of the $50 that I had to pay to correct his work, he told me he wanted pictures to prove he had done it wrong. I told him I could provide a receipt of the second repair. But he refused to refund the $50. I do not recommend this mechanic based on his unwillingness to stand by his work. I understand mistakes happen but as one who also works in the service industry, I know that in order to maintain my reputation and keep customers coming back, sometimes I have to either make corrections or refund money when it is a legitimate mistake on my part. Thats just good customer service.

If you ever have car troubles in the West Palm Beach area Christopher is your man, I was traveling to Daytona Beach for the Fourth of July weekend and my car started having an issue with the belt. After calling a few mechanics I found on google the quickest and most attentive was chris, he not only got there in 10 minutes but also discovered I had a bad pulley, I then took an uber to find the parts around town while he waited for me at the vehicle accompanying my wife and kids. When I got back he had my car running in 30 minutes! He literally saved me from a rental and a big stop to my weekend, this review is just a small token of my appreciation, thanks for the excellent service and attention chris!

Chris is the nicest guy first of all. He helped me out of a real dilemma with my work truck. The repair at the dealer would have taken a week and Chris came out and did exactly what I asked so my truck was ready to go the next day back to work! Amazing experience! When I called Chris I was anxious, I expected to wait a little but, he was at my door within half an hour, before I finish telling him what happened, He had it figured out and got working on it immediately. Chris, my mechanic! I live in Northern Virginia and wanted to bid in an auction in Florida. I was purchasing an RV so it wasn’t a purchase that you just do it by looking at pictures. So, I went online to find a mobile mechanic that can go over and start the RV and do a few inspection here and there for me. Chris told me it will take him an hour to do the inspection. I thought it was too long. But when he gave me the report, I decided to give him a 5 star review online. He is simply the best. The report included pictures and things that I wouldn’t have thought about if I had been there myself. I was happy with what he did and will hire him again.

Very personable and easy to work with as I was able to run to the store and grab material while he was here. Price was very fair! Would recommend Chris if you are looking for a mechanic anytime.

I would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. In Florida I’ve dealt with a lot of mechanics and lot of them are crooks, this business is no different. His name is Chris… Don’t trust him. He’s not a man of his word. Constantly stressing the money while he works. He does one job and it breaks down a couple days later. Called him back to fix the problem and his rates went up even higher. Talks a lot And his customer service skills are questionable. You can definitely get a better rate with another mechanic. He doesn’t keep his word and arrive when he says he’s going to. He basically goes with whatever job he feels is going to pay the most wise he leaves you stranded. Talk to two of his customers in the past they all said the same thing… He’s a crookJust bad business from the start. If I were you I wouldn’t trust him

We were stranded and this gentleman was the only gentleman that would come to our Aid immediately. He was at the site within 45 minutes and was able to diagnose the problem within 20 have the part removed within 30 and had the part replaced within 45 had the complete problem diagnosed and fixed within 2 hours excellent service thank you!

I called Chris on a sunday morning, he was at the home in a few hours. very experienced and knowledgable. A spark plug was completely blown out of the engine block. Chris rethreaded it and had it running in less then a hour. he was very fair with his prices and very professional. over all an excellent experience . I would highly recommend him.
