Martial Arts World is a fabulous environment for our children to grow and find inner discipline. After coming for a while now I am super impressed by this studio. Both of my kids (ages 6 and 8) they’ve grown so much just in the passed few months of training here. This place is more than just learning martial arts skills and earning new belts, its about gaining confidence, self control, discipline, and social skills. While having fun all along the way. I highly recommend Martial Arts World for all ages.

I was amazed to see how the children at Martial Arts World showed compassion and respect for my son a newbie to martial arts is extraordinary and impressed me. I am amazed at how they interact with my son he was so nervous and extremely shy trying it for the first time. The Instructor took the time to talk to him and reassure him everything new is scary but how much fun he will have just by giving it a try. My son wanted to go right back in after we registered him. Im extremely happy to have chosen this location and you will be too. The location is very accessible and the environment is welcoming. My son is going to love it. I will too.

Phenomenal after school program, summer camp and evening classes. Reliable, passionate and outstanding coaches. Our boys have become much more disciplined and motivated since starting and they have a great sense of pride from earning their belts.

This place has been like a second home to my son. They have instilled discipline, a sense of belonging and hard work in my son like never before. He enjoys going there after school and many times asks if he can stay for extra classes. Everyone on the staff treats me and my son with the ultimate kindness and respect. I am so happy I found this place and look forward to my son continuing with the program this year and beyond.

My daughter goes there for a wonderful after school program and I can see such a change in her! Everyone is so friendly and helpful, they want actually care. Would highly recommend checking them out..kids or adults, you would not be disappointed!

I have been going to Martial Arts World of Lake Mary with my son for over a month. Great environment for beginners. Excellent instructors and a flexible schedule to meet your needs . Would strongly recommend to anyone in Central Florida. You will notice immediately that the instructors take pride in what they are doing, care about each student, and give you 100% during each class. They also incorporate character development, an added bonus for kids! Dont waist your time anywhere else, sign up with this group, you will be glad you did!

Ive been training at Martial Arts World Lake Mary since they opened in 2015. The Instructors are amazing, the classes are AWESOME!! I get to relieve stress while working out and learn how to defend myself. I truly enjoy it.

Martial arts world lake Mary had been awesome. I brought my son here to start a few months ago. My son had extreme ADHD and could possibly be mildly autistic. The instructors have done everything they can for him to learn and grow. They have even given him someone to work with him one on one with him which I find To be incredible

They hit their target soccer mom demographic very well, as most of that demographic has little to no martial arts experience to start with. However, as a martial artist of 14 years I can smell a scam/fake school from a mile away, and this one reeks. This place, and the staff, came off as too eager and pushy to get people wrapped up in the experience. Just like a car salesman gets you to drive the car (which leads to higher purchasing rates), so too do these people want you to jump in the class and see how happy everyone is. Unfortunately, this leads to pricey long-term contracts signed by unknowing parents who just want the best for their kids.Ill give them props on the environment and happy high fives all the time to get people in. However, the curriculum (you know, the actual martial arts) is a joke at best with instructors that look and perform as if they just started classes themselves. Something tells me no one will ever fail a belt test here. Its a belt factory, not a martial arts school.They also seem to have some sort of network marketing thing going on with the business side of things. In my one class I was offered a chance to pay to go to their Black Belt University so I can learn to open a school of my own! Of course, Id be making a percentage off of any schools I help open with the black belts I train as well.There are many McDojo schools in the U.S. right now, but Martial Arts World (started by YK Kim, who basically invented the McDojo) seems to take the cake.
