I came in for emergency work because one of my front crowns snapped off. After temporarily addressing the issue, we looked over the x-rays and determined that another tooth that wed planned use for a bridge was also badly damaged. I ended up with a 4 unit bridge, it looks amazing and I couldnt be happier.Everyone here is great. The front desk was flexible with my schedule, and kept me updated on my appointments. All of the dental assistants were helpful and made sure even temporary teeth looked great and functioned well. Dr. Ahmed gave me all of my options and did exactly what he said hed do. I fully intend to continue visiting this office in the future.

I am very satisfied with the service Dr. Ahmed and his staff provided. I had a crown in one of my front teeth replaced and they did an excellent job. There is no dark spot in the area where the tooth meets the gum which I have come to expect, the tooth looked so natural, you can not tell it’s a crown. If my other crowns break I definitely will go back to Dr. Ahmed.

Dr. Akmal is very good. He is very thorough/detailed and takes time to discuss oral health status at every visit. I had my teeth cleaned a few times and also gotten a crown in the last one year at his office and have only positive things to say. To summarize, he is very trustworthy. I highly recommend him.

I came in here with bad toothache because of left upper wisdom tooth, I had seen another dentist previously who did not help me much I was just to referred to an oral surgeon for tooth extraction. I could not wait with the pain.So I thought of visiting this place, Dr. Akmal Ahmed is awesome, very knowledgeable, friendly and thoroughly explained me the procedure. Like other dentists I thought even now I will be referred to some oral surgeon for getting my tooth extracted but not, Dr. Akmal Ahmed himself took care of it. My wisdom tooth was extracted very smoothly within less than 10 min. I am very happy I came in here. Healthy Smiles of Orlando is a first class dental practice that is hassle free from checking in to billing. Dr. Akmal is an excellent dentist who ensured my root canal was as painless as possible.

First time client. Had been a long time since going to the dentist. A broken filling is what finally brought me in. I was very nervous and embarrassed for not keeping up with my dental care. However, all the staff members were nice and made me feel comfortable.While waiting for the doctor, I was able to watch relaxing nature videos with soothing music to help put me at ease. They have Ruko tvs in room with all sorts of listening and tv watching for whatever you desire.Anyway, my first appointment the assistant took x-rays, which the images were pulled up on the tv monitor for the doctor. Dr. Ahmed is professional with a nice unassuming demeanour. He did a thorough examine and explained to me what needed to be done. Luckily, only 2 fillings and teeth cleaning. So, I scheduled my next appointment.My second appointment is what prompted this review. Ive never had shots in my mouth without discomfort. The assistant puts a numbing agent on swabs before the doctor ever gives you the shot. Perfect! Made it easy and painless. The fillings looks terrific. One is on the front bottom tooth, which was chipped and ugly. Now I have a perfect tooth in shape and color matched perfection. I am so pleased with Healthy Smiles. Finally, I have a dentist that I trust and love.

I recently came to Orlando for business purposes. The day before my flight to Orlando I started having pretty severe tooth pain but was unable to make it to a local dentist without missing my flight.I started searching for a dentist located in the Lake Mary area that could fit my schedule since my flight didn’t arrive until 6pm. I called Orlando Healthy Smiles, explained my predicament. and inquired about an appointment. The staff advised they would be able to fit me in after my flight and emailed me several times to confirm the appointment and to get my insurance info so that when I arrived we could get right to business, which ended up being a life saver because my flight was delayed and I was late for my appointment. Still they squeezed me in and were able to work around the delay and got me in to be seen.Like a lot of people I’m a pretty big wimp when it comes to dental work. I admitted this to them prior to any work being done on me. They remained calm and kept the conversation flowing which allowed me to remain somewhat calm while the examination occurred. They even let me use the remote control so I could turn on some Netflix while the procedure was occurring which kept my focus away from the tooth and on the program. As it turns out, and much to my suspicion I had to get the tooth extracted. It had split in half and was a pretty time consuming affair (though I admit that a lot of that time was a result of me resisting and psyching myself out until I got settled again). I ended up being in the chair for 2 hours for the extraction. I felt embarrassed and Dr. Ahmed, took my anxiety in stride and worked with me throughout the process to calm me until I calmed down again allowing the process to continue. He could have rushed me, but he didn’t. He took the time I needed and allowed my comfort to dictate the activity which I’m VERY GRATEFUL for. I don’t usually do reviews on anything and since I’m not from the area I hopefully won’t have a need to go back. Based on Dr Ahmeds experience and his professional manner I wanted him to be recognized him and his staff for taking care of me and making me feel at home while being away from home.I would recommend these Orlando Happy Smiles to anyone. I’m very grateful for Dr Ahmed and his team.
