I love this place! I have been going for years but when I have something special like....ummmm....my wedding there is no other I would go to! Everything was cleaned and pressed to perfection! And the pants were hemmed perfectly! You cant go wrong them. The staff is wonderful! Full of smiles and helpfulness! No place better!

I was in the area so i thought i would try this place out. As I walked in the cashier was very pleasant and welcoming. I loved that she was so attentive and friendly. This place has yet to call me back, the Mgmt is sick everyday. the owner has not returned my calls. They have lost 2 shirts - chances are someone is walking around with my shirts. They WILL NOT take responsibility for the loss. and have yet to call me back.. I would NOT use this place.

Never going HERE again! They charged me almost twice as much as their original quote and were not at all willing to listen to my concerns. I understand they recently RAISED their prices but there should be a certainty level of transparency to your customers!!!

This was my first time using services from American Cleaners in Lake Mary, and I was very impressed by their customer service. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Iris and Jessica. They were busy this day as many customers were dropping off and picking up, however, they handled each and every customer as if they were a priority. Not only were they polite, but they took the time to answer all my questions without rushing me. They even made me laugh and smile after having a tough morning. I am very impressed with their professionalism and will continue to use them.

They are breaking the law by not providing an itemized receipt to customers. I took my shirts (35 pieces) to this location of American Cleaners. With a coupon I found online I thought I’d save some money getting all my shirts done At the same time. Little did I know they charge by “brand” some my favorite shirts where $9.95!!!! To get done some others $6.95 and some $3.95. At pick up I was expecting to see at the very least an itemized receipt to apply my coupon for discount. I was told by the very nice manager that the system is to OLD and she was not able to provide me with a receipt. Please be aware of their prices and take a leap of faith on what they are charging you I guess.

Sent a uniform here that had a name tag on it. I never received it back with the uniform at all. I called and asked they said they save the name tags and give them back. I drove up to the store and the African American women there said she would look again all she did was look through 2 items and told me she did not have it. I asked her if she could check other items and she told me I dont do that there is to many. There was no effort made to find me belongings at all. I have never had this bad of service from any cleaners before. I will never use this place again. I recommend to anyone in lake Mary switch to a different cleaners. Or you will lose a piece of clothing.

I normally come in the afternoons and always receive excellent service. The attendants, Iris and Angela, already know me by name. Ive even had alterations and that service was also satisfactory. Quick turnaround with my items. Will continue my business with American Cleaners.

Our washing machine broke so I called to get information on their service. I brought our laundry in, none of it was wet. I had eight bags of laundry that had piled up over two days -75 lbs. Each bag was labeled per child so that way when I picked up the laundry I did not have to spend hours sorting. When I walked in, I was not greeted. The gentleman and two ladies looked at me and treated me like I was an inconvenience. I shared that I had a lot of laundry due to our machine breaking and their response was “we don’t take wet laundry”. I told them it was not wet. They asked when I wanted it back and I stated the following day since that is what I was told over the phone. No smiles, no thank you for your business - nothing. The next day I came to pick it up, I had two of our children and we walked in and stood to the right and waited for them to come greet us. I gave them my name and phone number, they want to look for the laundry and another guest walked in. A different lady came from the back and told me I needed to move so she could help a customer. I told her that she needed to move to the other counter that I was there first and was picking up a large load. I have been living here 43 years and will never go back. I was told there is a place in Winter Springs called “In a snap”, it’s half the price and they say THANK YOU!

Visiting from south Florida and needed to get some items cleaned. Found this place on Google and was happy I did. Nice to see that customer service is still alive in the tourist capital. Although I dont live in Lake Mary, I will use them every time I visit. Very happy :)

Insanely expensive

I dont usually like leaving bad reviews, but this place has consistently had the worst attitude and service Ive ever experienced. I almost feel bad for dropping off my clothes. If something gets damaged, which I understand happens sometimes, they act like Im just lucky they hadnt taken them out behind the woodshed and burned them. Then they looked up a sale at a mall 45 minutes from Lake Mary and only offered to reimburse me for the damaged item at the sale price. Im convinced that the ONLY reason they are still in business is because of their location by the supermarket. I hate to have to drive one more place, but Ive finally decided that Im taking my business elsewhere.

Complete Disaster!!! I scheduled my Wedding Dress alterations appointment with the seamstress at this Lake Mary location 3 weeks in advance to ensure that my time and date were specifically set aside for my wedding dress alterations. I also informed her that my Maid of Honor would be traveling over 2 hours to be present for my appointment. When I arrived 10 minutes early the worker told me that their seamstress was off that day and called the next customer in line!!! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!!!! It wasnt until I started to demand her help that she got another employee from the back... The issue was not resolved and they asked me to go to their partner location in Winter Park. Left in tears, I will NEVER, NOT EVER do business with this company.

Will no longer be going to this facility! They lost 3 pairs of pants which showed up 6 months later. Then misplaced a pair of dress slacks and gave me someone else. The owner insisted I made an error. She handled the situation poorly and spoke to me in a way that was extremely unprofessional. Would rather drive further and pay more at another cleaners then ever step foot in this establishment again!

My wife and I were Lake Mary customers for 3 years. We have never experienced a worst customer service from ant other establishments like we have experienced here. We are reasonable people, and we know humans make mistakes. However, this staff does not care if they create any issue, will not return calls or messages, and will not rectify when they provide you with bad performance. We use laundry facilities regularly, and until this week, we brought our laundry here. We live within a 5 minutes drive to this location. The future will take us to one much farther. I would rather travel 50 miles to one, than deal with them. I recommend that all my Lake Mary neighbors do the same.

I came here once and will never be back. Less than mediocre dry cleaning quality and disgusting customer service from the owner. Not worth your time or money. There are plenty of other dry cleaners in the area.

Worst dry cleaner in America. They will not only NOT clean your cloths thoroughly but they will loss your clothing. On two seperate occasions this has happened. I contacted management and three weeks later my shirts have still not been found nor are there any talks of reimbursement. Stay Away from this place!!

Great dry cleaning with convenient pick up and delivery services

Ive been going to this dry cleaner for a very long time. They were good at one point but now I will never be going back. If I could give them negative stars I would. Recently I went the pick up my cleaning and I pointed out an issue with one of my shirts. It had a wrinkle at every button hole in the front. I noticed the last time and pointed it out to the guy behind the counter (later I learned this was the owner because he pointed it out to make stand on his case). He proceed to tell me this is the fault of express and the material they use. I let him know Ive owned this shirt for 4 plus years, its been to several different cleaners in multiple states and I never had a problem. Now its a problem. He then proceeds to tell me it happens during the laundry process. Another red flag for me. I have everything dry cleaned and request that everything be dry cleaned. He now proceeds to argue with me what the instructions say on the shirt. I dont care if it says launder I requested dry cleaning for a reason. The shirts last longer and dont get beat up. 15 years of getting my clothes dry cleaned I know what I want and what I request. Now you have ruined a 50 dollar shirt. He proceeds to tell me its not 50 that and express shirt is 20 dollars. Apparently this guy has never shopped there a day in his life. He continued and continued to argue with me. His business did not do what I requested. They ruined a shirt and he proceed to insult my intelligence. Me and my family will not be returning here or any of his other locations. $1500 a month in cleaning out the door. Customer service here is absolutely disgusting.

WARNING!!! STAY AWAY from American Cleaners of Lake Mary. I was dealt with RUDE employees right from the get go. They ruined my shirt and made no attempts of compensation or even an apology. These people are crooks, and their owner Lucy is a blatant liar and gave me a fake name and phone number when I asked to speak with the person in charge.

The actual Lake Mary branch is very good. However when we moved to East Orlando we tried the companies Delivery service which is horrible. I set up the service and they told me pick up days are Monday/Thursday. After spelling my name four times they came to the house with the wrong name. They said all transactions are sent via email..to date I have received no email (yes I checked Spam) On Thursday night I returned home and the bag was still at the door..I called and they said the delivery guy forgot but would pick it up Friday for sure..Friday night..no pick up..call again..Monday will be there..Monday comes..no pick up..when they did come a few WEEKS ago..They mademe pay cash..delivery girl had no change? Told me it would reflect on email that never came..and she had no receipt book either???Fishy..Each time i called I spoke to a different person..each time the person boldly lied to me. They also do not speak english very well..okay yell racist but I dont speak russian or whatever and when I do business I expect the person who is providing my service to speak English..now trying to get my money back but am getting the run around..horrible customer service..hate to call BBB but have to. Do not honor this business with your hard earned dollars.Customer Service is not Dead it just does not exsist at American Cleaners!!!
