Good teachers we are so happy we found this place

My kids love going here!

We started our daughter (6 years old) about a month ago and shes loving it. Shes counting to ten in Korean, saying YES SIR and really enjoying these sessions. Master Duran and Master Tommy are truly spectacular people - amazing with Children and give just enough discipline to be strong, but still able to teach in a loving/caring way. I cannot thank Master Duran and Master Tommy enough for all theyve done for our kids. They are not only exceptional TKD Masters but they are truly good kind hearted individuals. They treat and care for everyone there as if they were their own family. We are so fortunate to have found 540tkd and are forever grateful.

I’m confused about the decision made to not accept my 4 yo niece. I’ve always thought the martial arts were a place to learn discipline and self confidence. At least thats what happened to me as timid 11 yo boy who made black belt at 15 yo. I’m very disappointed the this place would not accept my niece and told her mom she was over weight and too distracted. Apparently she was put in a advance class for a try out and then decided she wasn’t eligible to attend. How’s does that happen ?? Very disappointed and upset.

We were just observing from outside with our 2 year old and one of the instructors came out to invite us to come in and look if we wantIt seems like a great place and the class seemed to be enjoying itIf she was older we would definitely bring her to these lessons

This studio is great. Master Duran is very patient with the kids and even with the younger ones makes sure that theyre doing the training correctly and learning the proper habits to grow with. I would recommend this facility for anyone wanting an excellent experience for themselves or their children.

5 star Experience! The classes are fun and VERY energetic! My son loves to go and learn with Master Duran. The atmosphere is great and the location is close.

My daughter goes here and she loves it. As a small girl, she is an easy target for bullies at school, but due to her TaeKwonDo training, I know she has the confidence and ability to defend herself if someone pushes her around. Master Duran is an excellent teacher who really cares about his students and his approach to teaching is what sets him apart. He understands children very well, he constantly raises the bar, challenges the kids within their own limits, and keeps their confidence high. I want my daughter to have self confidence and self-worth and thats exactly what she learns from ATC TKD.

Master Duran has been a good friend and mentor to my son for many years now. The things he has taught me and my son have been invaluable. When I had trouble with discipline and getting my boy to follow my instructions, Master Duran took control of the situation and helped me work through the problems. Seems like losing a stripe at Taekwondo is more influential than being grounded or getting in trouble at home. I recommend Master Duran to anyone with children, not just the hard-headed ones. :)

Ive found an awesome Tae Kwon Do instructor in Master Duran. His skill and leadership has made my son a BIG fan of this sport. I couldnt ask for a more charismatic teacher that instills both integrity & discipline as part of his training. I have been extremely pleased with my experience at ATC Lake Elsinore Martial Arts Center and the enjoyment it has brought to my family the past year is priceless. After meeting Master Duran, I was convinced that his studio was the perfect place to enroll my child....and after a year of attending there, I can wholeheartedly say, I was right!

My daughter has been studying Tae Kwon Do with Master Duran for almost a year now and is close to half-way to earning her black belt. Not only is he good with children (which is my favorite part), this is a true olympic taekwondo training facility. As a parent, I like this because my daughter might earn a college scholarship, or possibly even end up in the olympics. Perfect for kids of all ages, including adults. This place is great!
