My first experience with A & M Automotive was great. The staff are willing to go the extra mile. Very helpful, polite, considerate, and had me in and out as fast as they could. Brittany did an outstanding job helping me through my trucks repair. Next in line, the air conditioning system.

In my 50 years on this planet, I think Ive found an honest auto repair shop. I had issues with my Nissan Altima. It stalled when coming to a stop. I thought the issue was the transmission. Another shop wanted $4000 to replace the transmission. I took it to A&M Automotive for one last opinion. Brittany and her crew took the time to diagnosed it. She didnt think it was the transmission or sensors. I asked her to run whatever tests she thought could help diagnosed the problem. Whatever she did, the car is working now. I was charged $300 for two sessions of diagnostic works instead of paying $4000 for a new transmission. I can fairly judge peoples character. I would say this is an honest shop. Ill be bring my three other cars to her in the future. Im give this place 9/10. Im reserving one star just in case I was wrong.

My daughters car was stuck in neutral and we thought the transmission had gone. We towed the car to A&M even though it was 20 miles from her house because I know I can trust Adam and his staff. My daughter knows nothing about cars so I didn’t want her to be paying for services that she did not need. What we thought would be a $3000 fixed turned out to be a $250 issue and they had it done in a matter of days. Thanks so much!

I live in Temecula but will not hesitate to drive all the way to Lake Elsinore to have A & M Automotive take care of my car. I brought my car in because of a low oil warning and a scheduled maintenance service. From scheduling my appointment until I picked up my car, my experience has been remarkable. I usually dread these maintenance checks because it always feels like the shop always finds something else that’s wrong and I always end up spending more than I anticipated. That has always been my experience whenever I take my car to either Audi dealership or the other local repair shops that I’ve tried. Gotta say it’s the very first time I didn’t have to have “everything but the kitchen sink” fixed. Actually Adam took the time to explain which issues are urgent and needed to be addressed right away, and which ones just need monitoring and can wait. They topped off my oil and didn’t charge me. I mean who does that??? Thank you so much A & M! If you cant decide on where to take your car then just look at the 200+ reviews. Gosh there’s a reason why people love them.

Car was in the shop from 10-2:30Only thing I was told they did was add more coolant to my car and to let it run for a couple days to see if the air would come out stronger. Thought they did a diagnostic test which is what I asked for but they did not . On top of that they broke my bumper ! Didn’t even install it correctly so have to go get that fixed now.

A&M is an excellent automotive repair company that I will continue to patronize. This was a regularly scheduled service, but included radiator hose replacement that was old & was also replaced.

Not only were they warm and welcoming, but they remembered my brother who was the one that recommended them to me. Each staff member was so friendly and accommodating, even if they were just walking in and out of the office. They have a really useful inspection report that they text to you, making it easy to understand and follow what is going on with your car and what might need attention. They found something afterwards that they told me about, sent me an updated report, and recommended a cost effective solution for me. It was an absolutely amazing experience compared to any other car repair spots Ive taken my car to and I 100% recommend!

As far as the courtesy, I give it 5 stars but honestly Im disappointed in not the service with my car itself but the way the business was done. First I was told $1200-1500. Wait on the confirmation then it rose to $1700. Even though I already knew I was being overcharged I went ahead and gave the green light being that they already had my car there in the shop. Go to pick up my car and Im told $1900 because extra work had to be done. Why would you do extra work knowing that it would cost more without my consent? That really rubbed me the wrong way. On top of already knowing I was being taken advantage of just from the quote situation, you go and try to take advantage of me a second time by so called doing more work that I never consented to then trying to charge me for it??!! NEVER AGAIN. Definitely wont be coming back.

This place is a rip off. Charges $150.00 for diagnostic ( to tell you what’s wrong) according to the m our thermostat needed to be changed. Truck is a Ford ranger 2003. They charged $350.00 to fix it. Total $ 492.00 .Engine light did go off. Next day engine light back on took back to this place and they want to charge another$ 150.00 to check it again !!!!! This is not ok. Never will I go there again …. To bad this place rips off seniors !

I would recommend A&M to any one in need of quality repair or maintenance of their vehicle. They are very professional and fair in their pricing. Their repair reporting system is great because you can see their work, notes, and recommendations and schedule your repairs as needed. My daughters car recently had an emergency situation that required acquired attention, and they handled it very well. She said her experience was very positive, they had excellent communication, and were very efficient in diagnosing the problem and giving her recommendations. She also liked the electronic reporting system. I think they are a top notch shop and you would be in good hands.

I needed brakes and reached out to A&M based on their customer ratings on various sites. They were friendly, knowledgeable and quick. The price was reasonable and fair. They even gave me a ride home so I didn’t need to hang out there while they did the work. I will definitely use them in the future to keep my car running right.

My appointment was at 8, I went home for about an hour and a half, got a phone they gave my diagnosis and options instead of just one way and the only way to solve my problem and they had my vehicle ready by 2 PM. I like that, I could have gone to any one of my neighborhood auto mechanics but Im so glad I went to A&M they earned my business.

I highly recommend A&M Automotive. Ive taken my familys cars at A&M for years. Good work, fair prices, and most important, their honest.
