I was very excited when I got the call that my car was ready for pickup, it was very fast they were done before the estimate date. When I first walked in I spoke with Daniel, he was very understanding and honest. A few days later after diagnosis and test drive I got a called he was straight to the point and told me what needed to be repaired. I was notified throughout the whole process. Highly recommend very good quality.

Man these people are God sent! I was on a road trip from Atlanta to Houston and my car started over heating.I took it into a couple of the local mechanics and everyone was saying I had a busted radiator. I almost wasted $500+ on a replacement radiator until I found these wonderful people!They helped me find the source of the problem for a fraction of the price and got me back on the road very quickly! In 2018, my mother -in-laws vehicle seemed to be having transmission issues. I called AAMCO Transmission and spoke with Mr. Gordon who was very helpful and understanding and willing to help. Mr. Gordon fixed the transmission and did a great job, due to my mother-in-law who was 78 years old and on a fix income, Mr. Gordon allow us to make payments to pay for the service which took a few months but he was understanding an compassionate towards our situation. Two years later my son who inherited the vehicle was driving to work and had broke down on the side of the road, I called Mr. Gordon and explained what had happen, and without hesitation offered to send a wrecker to my sons location and pick the vehicle up and have it transported to his shop. Mr. Gordon contacted me the next day and advised what the problem could be but was not sure until his mechanics could Diagnosed it, but due to the year of the vehicle, I had him hold off until my son and I could talk about what he wanted to do, so I had a wrecker go to AAMCO to pick the vehicle up and transport it to our home. I went to settle up the bill with Mr. Gordon and he did not charge me for looking the vehicle over just for the tow which was cheap. Mr. Gordon reminds me of the good old days when you can take your vehicle in to get check and the business you used took care of you the best way they could with kindness, compassion, understanding just like family, something we do not have today. I recommend AAMCO transmission to anyone, located on Prien Lake Road across the street of the bank and Tonys Pizza. Thank You so much Mr. Gordon for all your help.David Nolen

They were honest with me about the condition of my car and also the probability of it being inoperable unless I spent 4000$ to 4500$ on repairs. They also let me know the performance history surrounding CVT transmissions. I was grateful for the technician taking his time out to explain these things to me in a way that I understood. Very sorry they got torn up from the ground up in the recent hurricanes in Lake Charles.

I was not thrilled at all about the price once my truck was fixed. They are pretty high in comparison to other shops for the same exact work that any other shop would do and less warranty than any other shop I called.. Then will try and sell an expensive extended warranty but claim no one can beat their rebuild/guarantee.... so why such a short warranty with an expensive extended?? I will brag on their customer service and speed of service I felt like was fairly quick.

I recently took my car in to have it serviced at a local car dealership. They said I had a transmission fluid leak but couldnt service if for another month. Took it to AAMCO that day and they ran a diagnostic test and discovered there was NO LEAK. Didnt even charge me for the test!! Great Service, excellent staff and would use them again. We had a repair done on two different seals and after we took it home we noticed another leak. We called Gordan and he said bring it back in. Not only did he put a rush on fixing it, they covered the last repair. What an amazing and compassionate guy. I would highly recommend his shop. My husband broke down in Lake Charles. We called around 12 repair shops in the area and because of the size of the vehicle, most were ill equipped, unwilling or unable to fix it. Although our vehicle is too big to go on their lift, Aamco were willing to work on it on the ground. They diagnosed the problem the same day he brought it in and rebuilt and upgraded the transmission in less than 5 days. They were so friendly and helpful and the mechanics were absolutely awesome. They went above and beyond to get him back on the road as quickly as possible and he was able to drive back to Florida with confidence. We will never forget how they helped us out of a sticky situation and cannot recommend them enough!

Had transmission problems on our RV and AAMCO Lake Charles came to the rescue. Very professional and very accommodating, The owner allowed us to stay in our RV while the repairs were done which was great as we travel with our 2 pets (Cat/Dog). Repairs were completed as per the owners estimate and communicated with our insurance company. Thanks to the owner and staffs great work we were able to continue on our vacation. Probably the most knowledgeable, friendly mechanics shop Ive ever been to. Ive always heard horror stories when visiting places like this but the manager made sure I understood everything going on and what all actually needed to be done along with some minor stuff that should be fixed but not critical. They really know their stuff and make sure you do as well!!

Hands down one of the best customer experiences Ive ever had anywhere let alone a mechanic shop. Today started out pretty rough for me but M(r)s. Enjoli made everything fast and easy. I didnt have a ride back home and was about to order a Lyft but Mr. Gordon offered and gave me a ride to a relatives house. I was at work when they closed and thought I would have to leave my truck there over the weekend but M(r)s. Enjoli made it to where I could still get my vehicle. The manager just sat on the phone and didnt even acknowledge that I was standing in the lobby, after about the third separate phone call he had answered I requested if we could get someone to talk to. This must have somehow upset him because upon my request he told both my mom and myself that he would not help us with our transmission problems. Absolutely terrible.
