Creation Landscaping did a great job on redoing our backyard. My wife and I wanted someplace for our kid to play. Kent and Tony changed the weed patch in our backyard to a comfortable play place. The initial quote was good and the team helped keep our budget down even with changes. They also were reliable on showing up when they said they would and communicating with us. Kent was happy to take on the extreme challenge of removing the effects of 20 years of no maintenance to our yard! He started working on an earlier day than originally planned and finished the job in record time. He has good insight about what to do with our overgrown lawn and even offered to come back in the spring to help us get our sprinkler system in tip top shape. Kent and Tony made it easy to collaborate on my vision, and then made it come to life. They placed multiple 1+ ton boulders in the round for firepit seating and were extremely patient in getting them set just right. Masters of irrigation and landscape for our Colorado climate as well. The owner, Kent, took a chainsaw to my trees without 1) asking for my input regarding their appearance, and 2) without informing me of the drastic approach he was planning to take to pruning. I was out of town at the time and the only indication I had was a single line entry on the estimate. One of my trees is reduced by half at least and more like two thirds; Kent removed a substantial amount of living and healthy branches so the poor thing resembles a twig instead of a 10+ year old tree. Regardless of the entry on the estimate, no one should take such a drastic, permanent approach when caring for another persons property without first consulting the property owner at length.Most landscaping companies understand that it is the property owners vision ONLY that matters. But Kent seems to think that since he is treating your property as he would his own, your input is not necessary.Further, I had been working with an arborist to care for the trees and they had been pruned properly just last year. Something Kent failed to notice. Kent is misleading his customers by claiming to have knowledge he does not have and he has destroyed my property as a result.

This was a wonderful landscaping expreience. Last year I hired Urban Farmer to do a major landscaping job for me and they did a C+ job. This summer I called in Kent and his crew to not only fix what U.F. neglected, but to do a little extra. I was blown away by how quickly and throughly they did the job. They even did a number of much smaller fix-up jobs needed to be done that I never asked for but found out after the fact when they had finished. This was well above and beyond what I expected.Not only would I recommend them to anyone else, but I will be using them again next summer for other jobs that need to be done.Its always a gamble going with a company youve never gone with before, but as funny as it might sound, Ive finally found my permanent landscaping service!
