I wont go into details, but new parents, please avoid this place! Their lack of experience coupled with unprofessionalism, made this experience my wife and I will never forget. Our brand new baby was not the only one suffering during this routine appointment!
I just wanted to give the Labcorp on La Rue France a thumbs up. I’m not sure of the name of the phlebotomist who took care of me. But I must say that she was awesome. No painful stick. No pain at all. Thanks again!!
Now something has to be done with the lady at the front desk. Clearly I’ve been waiting and someone she must knows came signed in on the kiosk way after me and I am still just sitting here waiting. And they have went to the back. I am very heated right now!!
After seeing the reviews for this location I was a little skeptical to go for a blood draw. After going there I do not agree with the negative comments. Even in the middle of all the new Covid-19 policies I felt like things went very smoothly. The front desk clerk was very nice and located my lab orders in their system since I did not have the paper order with me. I sat down in the waiting area for 1-2 minutes and my name was called to go to the back. Michelle did the blood draw and she was very welcoming, professional, and informative about the blood draw. She did a great job and I barely felt anything. I would recommend this location based on my experience.
What’s the point of having an appointment if you’re not seen anywhere close to the selected time?? I come here frequently as it is the closest location and it’s ridiculous every time.
This is a risky drink operation. Ridiculous!!!!
Does labcorp look for rude staff inconsiderate staff? Ridiculous
This was the fastest turnaround time I have ever experienced in an establishment like this. I was in and out in 15 minutes. The staff were very friendly and professional. I will certainly be returning for future lab needs to this location.
Smooth service
Fast and friendly. I told the phlebotomist I was terrified of needles and she helped me stay calm. Was in and out in about 10 minutes.
Unprofessional, no one answers phone. The hours on their website and the sign on the door said they closed at 4:30. I got there at 3:58 and the doors were locked and the lights were off. No way to run a lab. I suggest Lafayette General, they were open, they were nice and handled my sample.
I have never screamed louder in my life. The phlebotomist hurt me terribly. I reported it to the home office. AVOID.
The place itself was ok i guess i went at a time when i was the only one there but when the lady called me to the back to draw blood that was not a pretty sight for me🤦🏽♀️ She didnt get the vein and wen she moved the needle around i started to get these sharp pains down my arm and my ring finger and pinky was almost numb i went to grab my arm and ended up moving her hand to where needle came out but the pain in my arm was there for a minute and its been a few days and still feel it i talked to a rn and they said she must of hit a nerve 😢
If I can give 0 stars I would. The older lady at the receptionist desk is extremely unprofessional. She talks about the patients as they leave and/or come to the desk. The short lady who is a phlebotomist is not friendly AT ALL. This place needs better staff. PROFESSIONAL staff.
There is only one employee checking people in and running labs. You can tell she is obviously over worked and frustrated. She is not friendly and very short with customers. This is the case every time I have to come. Very unprofessional
Would be nice if the phone was actually answered! I called at 8a, 9:30a, 10a, 12p, 1:30p, and 3:30p with no answer. Whats the purpose of having a phone ?!?!
This place would be AWSOME if they would actually start checking patients in at 7am. I work in the medical field and when we say we open at 7am it means just that. Not we open the doors at 7am but then have to turn on computers then start the coffee and etc. So I have been here enough to know they open at 7am but the first person will not be called to check in until 7:45 which mean that person wont actually get called back to do blood work until 8:00-8:30 so if you are planning to be there early to get out forget about it. Also if you are waiting and someone walk in 30 min after you and they have a scheduled appointment then you get bumped down that person goes before you so its frustrating to have been waiting since 7 and hour later you still havent been checked in. Outside of the slowness and not starting on time this place is great.
Worst place to go the elderly lady at the front desk is rude
Phone is never answered. My son had to stay out of sports for 2 weeks prior to his blood work, they took his blood on Monday and it is now Wednesday afternoon... his Drs office still has not received his results from Labcorp. Workouts for him began today but because the blood work is still pending, he couldnt even begin because we are still waiting for them to send blood work to his Dr. Since the phone isnt being answered, I had to drive to their location and see what the hell is going on myself. Ridiculous! How can you survive in the medical field without your phone being answered all day! I tried several days last week before we came here! You cant even get their business hours on the recording. Im amazed at how horrible this place is.
Very unsatisfied with this place. Very slow service. Did lab work on Friday and they couldnt have results ready for Monday.
Very unprofessional. Got here before they opened at 7:30. It is after 8 and still no one has had their blood work done. Find any other place than this one.
Inefficient place with one phlebotomist hanging out behind the counter.
Had to wait 45 minutes with an appointment. They were helping a guy who didn’t have proper paperwork & he didn’t have an appointment! I checked on sign in sheet!!! 😤
Reaaally bad experience.
Very slow service!
