Avalon is my all time favorite place, they always do such a good job of matching the pic of what you want. Everyone is so nice & you can tell that they rlly care about how the final product turns out. The nail techs pay attention to the tinest of details & my nails always turn out so good. Love the place & the people ☺️ My current set is a pink gradient & I love them!!!!

My daughter and I both had our nails done today. Weve been here quite a few times. Sadly, today has changed our minds on coming back. I took pictures of both our nail applications immediately after our service. I asked for manicure with gel nails. My daughter got acrylics with matted overlay. I asked the tech for one coat of funny bunny as I always get this(Even at Avalon before with nice results). I never had problems before with other techs. The nail tech said you need two coats and the lady who was tending to my daughter vouched that I needed two coats. I said I always get one coat. But, when in actuality Its because one the tech wasnt able to paint one coat and make it look nice. Its because the product was older and instead of getting a new bottle or opting for another color option that would work, she polished with a product that needed to be replaced. I said I always get one coat and before polishing I made sure the tech doing my nails knew this. So she proceeded anyway with two coats. My second coat of polish wasnt distributed evenly. You can see a inconsistent paint job. As well as my manicure. I always keep them short and filed nice. None were even and they were filed jagged and not fully tended to. My daughters polish isnt fully matted at cuticle and you can see below in pictures its very lumpy and her thumb looks like it has veins. Why is this okay?! As my daughter was getting her nails done, I went to pay in front and I showed the other nail tech taking my payment my nails. When I got there I specifically asked for one coat funny bunny and she said yes we can. When showing her my nails she did opt for a color change. I said no but refused application of different color. Anyone who knows gel process would know that means soak in acetone for said time then reapply. We shouldnt have to even go through this. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOTICED. I didnt want another reapplication due to timing. Once I saw my daughters nails when she walked up I said never again. People come to spend money and get pampered. Even ones in the same industry. Im sure they wouldnt want their own nails looking this bad. Reputations speak volumes. This was NOT worth 85.00I will say this. The only person I recommend at Avalon is Hughn (not sure if spelt correctly) If I could give him 10 stars I would. I think Avalon needs a class by him or hire people with the same work ethics as him. His applications are beautiful and he tends to your cuticles as well. I learned today that you can Request him.

I thought I would stop before the holiday weekend because I work on this side of town and I wasn’t sure if my usual place would be busy. The nailLady was nice but kept messing up and I had to constantly tell her to fix something. I will never go back waste of money. My nails are bulky and uneven. I wouldn’t recommend.

Very amazing place, I loved It as soon as I walked in . They took their time (did not feel rushed on) . Very comfortable and relaxing . Will definitely be back ! 10/10 would recommend !

My first time there was great. The place is clean and quiet. Workers are polite and friendly. Lucky took great care of my nails. Very good girl.

A few times that I have been there the service has been good. However, when they are busy or have multiple customers at one time, they often do a very poor job and rush you out. From the several times I have been here, I have left with my nails not completely filled in on the sides with the dip or toes not completely dry because they are rushing my service. I would only recommend coming here when they are not busy, because if they are, the wrong person may work on you and do a terrible job.

Brought my mom for Mothers Day for manis and pedis. We had a great time - everything was clean and sanitized between clients. Definitely felt like we were in good hands!

This is my go to salon, they do a beautiful job each and every time no matter who I get. I typically get the nail dip, Ive also done pedicures and typical acrylic and they also did very well. Excellent service and priced slightly above average rates but it is 100% worth it!!

HORRIBLE! I will never get my nails done here again! The man who did my nails made sure he didn’t fill in my nails enough so that they would look grown out quicker, My nails look like they are two weeks old on my first day of getting them done. He didn’t file them right and when he polished them he left my nail half unpolished on the sides. It was a total waste of my time and money. Horrible business. They rush you out! I went to another place in Youngsville to get them fixed and they were saying what a horrible job Avalon had done. So unprofessional!

Online an acrylic set is listed as 25$, and in store they tell you it’s 35$. I’ve gone before and i get the same thing- I always pay 30$. Which okay prices may change. When we asked if their polishes had a difference, we were not informed price varied based on color or polish. How are you going to charge 50$ for something listed as 25$?? Something I normally get is suddenly 20$ extra? Ridiculous. Inform your customers of upcharges and update your website. I would never go here again.

I needed a gel pedicure done in less than 45 mins. Manicurist was able to do it efficiently and well.

Nails are ALL UNEVEN! Waited forever for someone to come do my nails! After they told me they could take me now! Like come on if you can’t then tell me you have a waiting list but don’t make sit for almost an hour! Then not only he rushed to do my nails, it came out sloppy, and you can see straight through them, and he was so rough that he hit my finger multiple times after I told him he was hurting me! I wanted a light simple pink color and got a dark orangish color. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK! So if y’all go it’s a hit or miss mostly a miss!

Relaxing peaceful experience. No wait and sweet professional women who work there. It is more of a spa experience than a nail salon. Would recommend eyelash extensions. Affordable prices and beautiful nail work. Polish is new and dries properly. They do not give you the old polish that doesnt dry properly like at some salons. I will make this place my new permanent spot for my deserving mommy time lol

I went in today, appearance is clean and well maintained. I received a deluxe pedicure. My feet were smooth on the bottom when I went in are like sand paper tonight. Also, the nails she cut are all hurting to touch now. Will not be returning.

4.5 stars. Staff was professional and detailed, but there was too much talking among themselves in their native tongue. They were not very coversational with customers. Complementary water was not offered until leaving. Overall, the store was very clean, everything was extremely sanitary, and the work was impeccable. They were very honest about prices as well. The bonus was being open on Sundays. The staff just needs more people skills and consistency with the work given by each individual worker.

HORRIBLE. I waited 40 minutes they were taking people that came in after me. I signed the check in sheet but I guess they dont ho in order. I was told dont worry we take care of you. You dont need to get mad. I walked out!

The service was very slow and I had two different people doing my nails. I am not very familiar with the process of dip powder but I do know it is healthier than gel when taking it off. This is the only place my nail has cracked almost to the cuticle when doing dip powder. I think it is due to the fact that they shaved my nails with the drimel tool too much. The people were very nice and I know mistakes can be made but needless to say I will not be going back.

Came do my nails on Friday October 4th, the acrylic was really thin ... by Sunday 6 nails broke off I called Monday October 7th and the lady I spoke too told me she so sorry about my nails and come back in the morning and they will fix my nails for free . So I came in the next morning and they let me sit for maybe 20 minutes to then change there story and say that I need to pay for them while buffing my nails . In that case I would not have came back to get nails full price all over again for cheap acrylic that does not last . And my nails costed $72 . I think not . Rate 0 Seriously .

Having a pedicure now and Vo is AWESOME! My toes have never looked better and he took his time to make sure it was done well and thoroughly. Will definitely be coming back and asking for Vo! The place is very clean and sanitary. Basins were lined and tools came out of an unopened package.

I got a manicure there recently. My nails were different lengths and looked different from one another. They also lasted only a week which I have had my nails done so many times before and this is the shortest time they have ever lasted.

This was by FAR my worst experience in over 17 years of regularly getting pedicures and acrylic. I was rushed the entire time, told to do a different service other than what I wanted because it would be faster for them. The whole time they talked among themselves and laughed as if they were talking about their customers. Horrible customer service. I will never go back.

I got a fill and pedi with gel polish. After 3 days the gel started peeling, especially on my thumb nails. They completely peeled off. I called and spoke to Tommy who offered to fix it. Unfortunately, Im an OTR truck driver and was in MN at the time. I will try them once more. Overall it was a good experience. Clean and prompt service.

To say their a little higher than most places which is fine but I dont think I should receive ok service if thats the case.

They are terrible with acrylic nails there .They over price and my nails starting popping off literally the next day . They aren’t good with shaping nails as well. Just don’t waste your time going to them at all .
