Laura Cornish is hands-down the best hair stylist that Ive ever gone to, because she listens and then proceeds to cut and highlight my hair into something sleek and natural that doesnt disintegrate into chaos the minute I dash out the door into the real world. Im sort of mystified how Laura can translate my less-than-precise musings about what to do this time into a style that feels like me. This has been consistent since I discovered Laura by accident one day after taking my dog to the vet (which is just next door). Maybe this discovery was luck, but it also was because the salon itself drew me in - its calm, sunny, peaceful and welcoming. And again, Laura is the rare artisan who is gracious and efficient with her work (and I love that Maven gives back to the community, including supporting other artist jewelers).

Great place to relax and be pampered. I have known the owner for many years, she takes serving customers seriously. She pays attention to hair products that are effective and manufactured responsibly and always takes beautiful care of my hair. I really appreciate respectful signs that request customers refrain from cell phone use, allowing the rest of us to relax and visit. The salon is wonderfully located, with windows and outdoor light from North and South. Easy parking and nearby bakery cafe for a little breakfast or lunch.

Jill did an amazing job with my hair. We met a couple weeks before my appointment to talk about what would look best on me. Then once I picked out a hair cut she took time to send me a video to know how to properly style the new cut. I was very thankful for that. While I was at my appointment, Jill was very friendly & personable. I will definitely be going back for future hair care.

She worked her magic first addressing my gray roots and then a new beautiful hair color with beautifully blended highlights that worked well with my skin color type. Had never had this much talented attention given to me before! I feel like a new woman and I credit that to Jill!

Laura has been cutting and highlighting my hair for 15 years. I can’t imagine having to find someone else who does as great of a job as she does. I have really fine hair and she takes the time to blend it beautifully. And, the highlights she does look really natural. I now drive over 45 min to have her do my hair since I moved to Littleton, but it is totally worth it. Great person and great studio.

Mallory was my stylist. Major mess up!! It cost me 235 dollars. I could have gone to Cost Cutters.Id grown my hair out for 2 years. I had a clear photo of the style I wanted, my hair was think and long enough to accommodate the cut. I brought in the base color and highlight color with examples of where to put each color in the style...all clearly depicted in photos. She said she could do it with no problem. She cut layers 4 inches too short where no layer should be, left 1 to 1.5 inches of roots exposed...she couldnt figured out why my hair had brassy colors in layers she neglected to color. What a mess. Outdated style, poor coloring job...and needs another cost redo.

I had a great experience at Maven both times I’ve been there. Both times Jill cut my hair. Admittedly, I’m not the easiest customer because I have moderate/severe scalp psoriasis but Jill was so kind and careful throughout the entire cut. It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t just rush through the cut to get the next person in the chair but Jill is a perfectionist and takes her time. Will be back!
