Went for an inspection sticker and apparently the kid there was on a power trip and wouldnt do it because my two front tires had low tread and back power windows wouldnt work which apparently doesnt even matter when it comes to getting an inspection when you go to any other place. Anyway he didnt realize that the lock button for the back windows was on and that in fact they did work. Tires also had plenty of trend too, about half a pennys worth doing the coin test. Kid would not listen to me and just said come back when its fixed or I can fail you to give you more time if you need. No thank you. Wasted my time there waiting for nothing. Never going back there again. No one was wearing a mask. Just me and the other customer waiting. Felt unsafe the whole time I was there. Took it down the road to another place and the service was so much better. Everything checked out great. Got my inspection sticker done quickly with no hassle thanks to Stans. Go there instead.

This is the auto shop that Ive been taking my car to for the past two years - more often than I should, but such is life when you drive a lemon. Usually they are prompt, professional, and honest about the work they do. I havent ever felt like they were up-charging or trying to sell me services I dont need.The reason I have left two stars is their blatant disregard of safety precautions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The last time I brought my car in, half of the employees who came near me wore a mask. Today, no employee was wearing a mask, and several employees brought their unmasked faces incredibly close to my (masked) face. The building is too small for social distancing, and an employee would not let me keep the door open to at least have air flow to have a safer environment for the customers.Five unmasked employees in and out of the very small seating area inside made me feel uncomfortable and unsafe. There isnt a seating area outside, so to keep myself safe the only option was to sit in the parking lot.Im disappointed, as I have enjoyed doing business here in the past. Maybe I will return once the vaccine is widely available. In the meantime, I recommend finding a safer place to do business - a place that makes their team and their customers safety and health a priority.

Stopped in to get my inspection sticker updated. I was assisted immediately by a kind young man. While he was inspecting my car, I got to pet the shops 12 year old lab that wondered out the storage room. Super sweet big guy never made a sound. I got my keys back after I paid and was on my way in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

Fantastic service. Brian Fournet and his team are top notch. My sons 4runner had broken down and Brian sent tow truck to pick it up and tow it to the shop within 15 minutes. I have used Fournets many times in the past and Brian has always been honest, fair priced and has communicated timelines. #1 in my book.

The air pump is broken and only takes air out of your tire instead of putting air in your tire so I paid a dollar to get a flat tire

I took my husbands car in for state inspection in early November. We chose this site due to the awesome weekend hours and reviews. Unfortunately, we had a crack in the windshield and failed. Fournets gave me a sticky note with everything I needed to do, and placed a temporary sticker on to get us by until we could get it replaced.Fast forward to today, we took the car back in, and Mr. Brian helped us out. He was quick, speedy, and it was such a joy to watch everyone come in be treated like family, and greeted with a smile and funny joke. I absolutely recommend them. Fast, speedy, consistent, loyal, and friendly.

Had state safety inspection done today - quick service. In addition, the mechanic checked and aired my spare tire and explained why a minor problem I recently had worked the way it did - without impatience or acting like I was dumb, and at no extra charge. I appreciated their service and attitude very much.

My tire pressure was low on my car so I went in to add some air to my tire. The first gentleman was really kind told me the prices and said but if you just want to just add some air it’s free. So I added the air and my light was still on so I waited because I would now let him check it because something else could have been wrong. The other gentleman was now adding air for someone else when a man came from the back asking if I needed anything not knowing that I just added my own air and watched the other gentleman add air in someone else’s car. I said yes I would like to have my tires checked. He says sorry I don’t have any air and walked away. I have never in my life felt so uncomfortable that was so rude.

My Subaru XV Crosstrek has high mileage and needed a bit of service when I purchased it. I brought it around to several shops to get it diagnosed and read a bunch of reviews of these said shops... and I didnt feel like either; the techs were competent enough or reliable/honest enough to service my needs. I eventually brought it here and was able to work with the team to get my vehicle diagnosed and repaired for a fairly reasonable price.I had some hurdles here at first, HOWEVER, what will keep me coming back is that the business made it RIGHT (charges) to KEEP my business and we came to an agreement. For the reasons of honesty, reliability, and willingness to work out mistakes - I will keep bringing my vehicle here. I could feel the competency and reliability vibe with this business when I first dropped it off, and I was right!THANK YOU

Was the only person in the place and for some reason it took 45 minutes to get an inspection sticker. Someone showed up for gas and the person helping me stopped to go take care of them first despite another person being outside on duty.Won’t be back here.

I continue going to this place because they are always polite and honest.

When I have friends with car trouble in Lafayette I make certain they know about the good folks at Fournets, a family business Ive learned to trust with my automotive problems now over a period of 35 years. These are honest folks who like people before nuts and bolts and the almighty dollar. They know their business, excellent licensed mechanics and if they cant fix it they know who can. That said; theyve fixed every problem Ive ever had and on more that one occasion they have literally rescued me at roadside with a flat or more serious motor problems. I cant compliment them or their services enough only to say Im grateful to Brian and the great family there and only too happy for the opportunity to write this revue.

Didnt like anything about this place. It took nearly an hour to inspect my vehicle, then didnt pass it because the tint was too dark.I am a professional in my mid 30s - the vehicle is a year old from the showroom floor - I didnt order special tint, there is no aftermarket tint - nothing has been modified. It doesnt even look dark-eyeballing it. It apparently had passed inspection when I bought it since it came with a LA inspection sticker- and this was its first inspection outside of the dealership.When I asked the guy about it, he smirked and told me not to take it up with him. He of course charged me $10 regardless... I went elsewhere and had them recheck it, it passed easily.I would never go this place again, they have no respect for their customers time, and are not friendly or helpful.
