Started seeing Cody at Main Street Social Club about 7/8 months ago. They were voted Best of the Lakes Region for a reason! Quality is 10/10 every single time. Shop has a great vibe, the music is great (side note, those Spotify playlist are definitely an added bonus!), and if you haven’t seen the shop lately go check it out and see for yourself. Blood sweat and tears my friends. It looks great!My 6 year old son also recently saw Travis for the first time and he thinks the shop is just as great as I do. Wouldn’t surprise me if he’s passing out business cards at recess.10/10 would recommend.

It may look like a get a simple haircut... but I am picky when it comes to it! Cody got it spot on since I walked in the door! He is very detailed and you can tell he loves what he does! MSSC is a great place for a haircut. Both barbers take their time and make sure you are satisfied with your haircut. Most other barbers I have gone to it feels like an assembly line but here you dont feel that way. Cody is my barber and takes his profession very seriously. MSSC is very clean and you can tell they take pride in their establishment. The mix of music they play is great and I would highly recommend giving them a try you wont be disappointed

Cody has given downtown Laconia a great business and the meticulous cuts and fades he and Travis provide are 2nd to none. But it’s just not the best cut that will have you coming back but the conversations while they work that provide that old school barbershop experience. Highly recommend for the cut and the overall experience!

This shop is amazing! Cody and Travis are great people. Just genuinely good guys. I think you would be hard pressed to find two people who care more about their profession than these two. Even on long days I have never seen one of them rush through a hair cut. Both barbers are great and do awesome work. I also love the fact that the shop gives back to the community which speaks volumes to who these guys are. That being said I would like to give a personal shout out to my main man Travis. Over the years I have had my hair cut by a lot of different people. Many of which did a great job. Travis is just in another tier altogether. His personality paired with his talent as a barber makes him a cut above. I greatly enjoy my time in the chair each and every time. If he moved an hour away I would absolutely make the trip, no question to keep him as my barber. Hes that good. If your considering visiting the shop you cant go wrong with either guy. You will love it!

This was my first time getting my hair cut here.It won’t be my last...my wife very much liked the job that Cody did on my hair... my hair is naturally wavy and baby fine... it is problematic for most folks but Cody handled it no problem an did a fine job on the mustache and goatee as well.See you in a month.

Travis did an exceptional job of cutting my hair and it was done in a very reasonable matter of time. The main difference for me wasnt the haircut though but instead the personality and demeanor of Travis. He was well-spoken, polite, and was an excellent conversationalist. It seemed as though I was getting my hair cut by my friend and not a stranger. In addition, they did a great job of following the Covid-19 guidelines and making me comfortable.

You know you found the right place when a vintage Neil Young song comes on the stereo. The conversation was equally as sharp as the haircut. I threw an unintentional curve ball and asked for a shave when I arrived and was granted one. Definitely a place I will return to. I highly recommend.

After trying several barber shops in the area I was beginning to be disheartened until I spotted Codys barber pole out of the corner of my eye one day. The best shop in the area. Great atmosphere and a professional attitude. Ive had my haircut by both Cody and Travis and can honestly say that either one can cut my hair anytime. Ill be back 1 more time before we head south for the winter.

Went to MSSC for the first time today and couldnt be more pleased with the entire experience. Cody gave me a great cut and the vibe in the shop is exactly what you want from your barber. Relaxed atmosphere Travis and Cody are very talented barbers and love what they do which shows! Travis has been cutting my hair for over a decade! Very happy I can drive 5 minutes down the road no appointment needed!

Cody is a nice guy who recently moved up to the area. I originally went to a place nearby but didnt feel up to the 2 hour wait and luckily I happened to stumble upon him. His prices are pretty good and he is an interesting person to talk to during your haircut. I will definitely be returning here for the foreseeable future.

They give you a great haircut at a reasonable price. The guys are friendly and make you feel right at home. I try to go there every time Im in Laconia ! The guys know their music and sports.

The biggest difference Ive seen at Main Street social club compared to other Barber shops is that they take the time to be detail oriented. It makes a huge difference!Unfortunately weve all been there. If your blue collar and care about where you spend your hard earned money. It kind of sucks when you go into a shop and they seem to rush you in and rush you out. Sometimes leaving you with an uneven cut or frustrated when friends or family comment on what happened to the back of your head. Rest assured it feels good knowing that these guys are personable. They take pride in their work and they care about what they do! I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Cody or Travis to anyone I know!

I forgot what it was like to have a barber that truly cared about his customers, I showed up to Cody shop five minutes till five assuming the shop closes at six I was wrong they close at five but that didn’t matter to Cody he treated me like I was the first customer of the day and told me don’t worry man I’ll stay open a little longer to cut your hair. Not many other shops would’ve done the same. He did an awesome job and the shop is very comfortable and laid-back great job Cody!!!!!
