I’ve been coming here for about 3 years now and usually get acrylics but I’ve been growing my nails out so I decided to get a gel set. This is the second day I’ve had them and they all have chipped. My regular nail polish doesn’t even chip this bad. I don’t even work a hands on hard job I am a stay at home mom so there is no reason why they should have chipped like that. I also took my mom with me and they wouldn’t paint her nails because they were “too short” when they weren’t that short and then proceeded to charge me $20 for her. Like excuse me. I was 85$ plus I tipped $10 because I am not rude. I am disappointed because I’ve been going here for so long but this will be the end of me going there.

The other customers were nice to talk to! I will definitely go back!

Ive been getting my toes done here for 15 years. They do a great job. I appreciate the hard work that they do, and anytime I mess a toenail up in the shop, theyre willing to fix it no charge!

March 2018: I got my nails done back in march. some of them are still on and it’s been 3.5 months.... I tried really hard to pry them off too lol the lady who did mine was super nice and patient with me. I don’t know much about acrylics and she took the time to help me pick a suitable type. only 3 stars because she quoted about $35, then charged me over $40 plus what I tipped her. if she hadn’t done that, I probably would’ve gone back for a fill and maybe in october again with my bridal partyOctober 2019: I came to get my nails done with a design and was disappointed. The design was off center and the edges weren’t connected and the shape was very square and boxy. It seemed like my tech was in a rush to get to her next client, who seemed like a regular. If I come back, it’ll only be for basic colors. I wouldn’t recommend this place for designs or anything trendy. Overall, they work for my Halloween costume but I will go elsewhere next time

Worst nail work ever! She didnt want to do what I wanted to do. Im never asking for anything crazy she made them super thin and they broke in two days... waste of my time and money. I had to go spend 50 more dollars just to go fix it somewhere else.

I went in for a refill and new design work, not only are all my nails uneven but not at all what I asked for. I gave these girls an opportunity to fix them and all they were willing to do was throw some more paint and threw it in my face I only paid 35$ for a basic refill.

We love this place! Prices are very good and we too love supporting LaPorte businesses. Curious though when reading some of the reviews. They say “great place” etc yet only gives a 4 out of 5. Why not give a 5?

Ive been getting my pedicure here for years and I always use the same Tech who is THE BEST Ive ever had! I always make an appt. to make sure I get my Tech specifically. Very Clean shop, many colors and styles to choose from. I wont go anyplace else. All Techs are very nice as well.I would definitely recommend this place!

Very affordable! An older lady did my manicure with shellac and she was gental, nice, very efficient and for the FIRST time ever I left a Nail Salon WITHOUT BROKEN SKIN OR BLEEDING CUTICLES!!!!!! In the past weather I had a full set, refill or manicure i would always get nicht clipped or burned by the dremel.... I bet they gave just over 100 of colors in each type, powder, gel nails, and polish...

The lady who I had was very nice. I love that they use the plastic protectors for pedicures. However 43 bucks for wax and pedicure is way too high espicially since it wasnt a fancy pedicure at all . Will be returning to my normal salon in Deer Park for half the price.

Walked in and 1 lady was waiting before me but i still waited over 1 hr. And just when I thought I was next the nail lady comes and tells me shes going to take another girl that came in after me! Maybe the other girl had an appointment, but at least let me know its going to be over an hr wait before I waste my time. Will never waste my time on this place again. If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would.

They do really good nails but their pedicures are below average. I have since gone back to my old nail tech . I only came here twice since she was so busy.

I have been coming here for 5 years. Ive always enjoyed my visits up until the last 5 months. First of all Meme was my nail tech and did a good job. However, I noticed that when I would ask her to do something like an extra clear coat over my gel manicure she would argue with me. Im paying for the service, so if I want something done a certain way, I should not have to go thru the hassle of arguing about it. Then I switched to Nancy (which is awesome. I think she only takes appointments.) One day I popped in for a pedi and mani. Nancy was off so Meme greeted me. She said Ill do your pedi and you can come back tomor row for Nancy to do your nails. I could not believe she said that. I said NO Im not making 2 trips. She said but Nancy not here. I said yes I understand that. I did not make an appointment so I will just have to have whoever is available. So she did the pedi and passed me on to Vickie for the mani. (Which was fine for me because Vickie is good. But I felt that she just did not want to do my nails because I had stopped using her due to the arguing of how I wanted my nails done. So in addition to that There have been a couple times that I called and made an appointment. When I arrived on time I still had to wait at least 15 to 20 minutes. Now I would not have a problem with that except today I came to get a mani and pedi and Amy and Meme were the only 2 there. They opened at 9:30 and this was at 10. They both told me to come back later as there were 2 appointments coming in. So I explained that when I have made appointments I still had to wait. But they were not budging. So I said fine Ill wait. The appointments did show up within 5 minutes.. So thats all fine but why do I have to wait when I have scheduled an appointment? So today will be my very last trip to this salon. Who knows maybe I dont tip enough and they would rather see other patrons... I still did tip Meme even after arguing with her about my nails...I have always tipped 5.00 total for both services. But I do no like the way they make me feel. The old part of Laporte needs another nail salon !!!!!!

I changed my review because they are over priced, you can get better nail for a better price down the street by foodtown on spencer. I can get shellac nail polish in Pasenda for 25 dollars and here they are chagring near about 43 girl bye lol.
