(I personally recommend Aces performance)Ok so this is a full detailed review of my personal experience with Alan as a walk in client.I pass by this shop every day going to work and going home and I would see nice looking tuner-ish cars outside so I assumed he knew what he was doing. Which he does. I believe he is a great mechanic. However he isnt an honest one. Nor does he perform any work himself (unless they are busy) My 2014 was Repossessed because I got behind on the note due to reduced hours from covid. I had to take an uber to work. I was still able to make ALOT of cutbacks and sacrifices to save money to buy a cash car. An 01 Buick Century Custom. The body is in pretty great shape. All original but there was an issue with the fuel pump. It ran. But not good. I know how much Buicks are respected in Houston due to the slab culture so I wanted to bring it back to life. I spoke to Alan before having the car towed there and this is where my nightmare begins.He fixed the fuel pump for me and the ac compressor. Did a fantastic job with that. Ac blows very cold and I could hear the new fuel pump prime every time I started my car. So Im thinking man. This guy is good. Fast forward a few weeks. I started noticing my car was losing oil alan said I had a small oil leak. I had to fill my car with oil at least every 2 weeks. And there was white smoke coming from my tailpipe. (Alot) I took it back to him and he told me my motor was going out and that he could rebuild it with all new parts for $2500 that was very steep mind you we are dead in the middle of a global pandemic. He did a quick fix on it. Put some stop smoke and some heavy duty oil in it to get me by until I had enough money saved to pay him. Before I had enough to cover the rebuild, a rental car, rent, and other things. My gf got ill and had to have surgery to get her gallbladder removed. My car broke down on a Thursday night on the way to pick her up from the hospital. 12/24/20 there was alot of smoke and it was running really hot. My motor blew. Oil was everywhere. My gf had to get an uber to me to get the house key and uber home from the hospital. I had my car towed to Alan for the Rebuild... he comes the fun part. SmhIt was dropped that night (12/24/20)I had to rent a car from enterprise to make it to work. Cost me almost $300 for 4 days But he let me rent a van from him for far less for a few more days.I took him $2,500 CASH 12/30/20Car was ready for pickup 1/4/21I immediately noticed the service engine soon light flashing on the way home from work and sent him a video. He said ok dont worry about it check it up tomorrowHe checked it 1/07/21 returned it and just said its good to go.1/9/21 I sent him a picture of my car still running hot and transmission fluid leaking. I took my car back to him that same day.next day my car was broke down. Shook and turned off. Had to get it towed to his shop. It was knocking and misfiring, shaking and squealing and running hot at idle.Never provided a receipt or written warranty for his work.At this point Im beginning to lose my patience. All this back and fourth and having to be towed in AFTER A FRESH REBUILD THAT COST $2500. I had to have it towed back to his shop 1/12/21At 3pm that day he said it was done and sent me a picture of a random bolt and said that was the issue for all the aforementioned symptoms.That same day my car was still running hot at idle and still not giving all of its power when you push the accelerator to the floor.Alan wasnt doing any work on my vehicle himself. He had his employment doing the work on my vehicle.I decided to go to another shop.I was informed my engine was from the junkyard little to no work was done on the engine. They showed me that ALL of my sparkplugs were different brands and sizes. The motor knocks, it leaks. Long story short he robbed me.. my motor is now being swapped for an 08 GM engine.I want a refund. I need at least $1,500 or this review stays forever and Im suing.

I took my car there because I needed new breaks. Alan made sure to accommodate me in every way possible way and at a good price. I highly recommend his auto shop.

First google review. AMAZING Experience!!! Great knowledgeable, smart mechanic and a awesome family man! He was Honest straight forward and very fair on the price. I didn’t know where to take my truck due to the fact I don’t live around here. I’m here temporarily working. I Looked him up on google. Had great reviews so I drove to Alans as a walk in. I talked to him about the issues I was having with my Duramax. Truck swerving, won’t drive straight, wheels shaking and making clunking noises. Told him it’s my only vehicle and needed it ASAP. He stopped what he was doing pulled my truck on the lift looked over the front end suspension/steering found all the issues no problem. He said I’ll take care of it. Done. He Rebuild the front end the next day. Amazing!!! Ive owned my truck for 5 years now and it’s never driven so straight and smooth! Everything’s tight no noises and Rides perfect! Not one complaint! Awesome work! Thank you very much!!! I appreciate you!

Fair and honest imo. This place is always busy. I get my state inspection here nearly every year and have had work done on my camaro.

Finally, a great mechanic with excellent ethics. Alan will be upfront with you about pricing and parts, and will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the work. I had my 03 WRX motor rebuilt here and they even detailed the car before handing it off to me. He helped me get with a tuner and source parts and everything. Great guy, excellent work.

Great people, great place to get your ride fixed.

They were supposed to give me a diagnostic of what was wrong with my car then do the repairs. New engine but the engine light is still on, they new I needed a new battery and didn’t say anything intel i ended up stranded, my car starts smoking every 3 miles because there is a hole in the radiator that they failed to mention. I called for two hours straight to let them know I’m on my way and they did not answer the phone.
