24 hour fitness but closes at 9 whats the point like people coming to have covid after 9 pm. Infact its less busy at night and safer

Great gym closer to my home. Has plenty of space for cardio, free weights benches are a bit limited but manageable not unreasonable.Only real complaint is currently the not being open 24 hours which I get it. Hopefully they go back to being 24 hour soon.

Not very crowded but ample room. Staff is very helpful & nice. Theyre making Crossfit upgrades too.

Great place to work out, receptionists need to smile just a little more but overall all goodI fell in love with one of the receptionist a while ago shes no longer there and I didnt tell her anything 😔 .....recommend it

I always like this gym. I can’t wait till they’re back to 24 hours so I can workout after work like I like to. I feel like it helps take away the stress. For now, I’ll go before work, which kind of takes away yesterday’s stress and puts me in a good mood before work so less stress sticks but the after is important too! They close at nine now and I’m off at 9:30.

I like this joint. I dont need fancy stuff, just the basics to get sculpted for the ladies. It kind of reminds me of an overseas gym upstairs - I dig it. This gym is the best of the best.

Its ok. It isnt bad. The second floor has all the weights, a semi-nice view of the lot outside, and its surrounded by mirrors. You can easily get lost in your muscles and gains. Lol. A little limited in equipment; not many squat racks upstairs. Theres some on the first floor, but if theres a class, youre s**t out of luck and have to wait. Lots of cardio equipment on the first floor, and its always busy. The outside pool and jacuzzi is a different touch. Idk how I feel about that yet. I mean, its California, so the weather is nice...but your still exposed to the elements and it doesnt feel so private. Thats just my take on it.

This location is discriminatory and is dishonest. They seemingly procured a no fencing policy months after I have been regularly going there to train in saber fencing. Their argument was that the saber could be used as a weapon and I was thinking that a 5 LBS weight can be used as a much more deadly weapon. I sense potential racism from the staff.When I signed up I told the sales guy what my training intentions were and I had received no objections about the fencing saber (Sales annoyance - he omitted the extra fee and referred to a subtly places printed label on his keyboard to close the sale; If they cant fully disclose pricing then its essentially a contract scam)I also have been bringing and training in saber fencing for MONTHS ( I go into a room and train independently and respectfully, considering the other gym attendees personal space ) then all of a sudden one night I go in and there is the attendant who starts to yell H-H-Hey this is the guy (to the manager) as if I committed murder or something 😂Dont go here if you do anything remotely interesting with your life 😊( attached is the photo of the perceived POTENTIALLY MURDEROUS weapon 😱 with a baby holding it 👶 )

Good workout gear and a great staff

I love this gym! Joey at the front greets the regulars by name. The club managers and trainers are friendly and helpful. The equipment could use an upgrade. Maintenance tries to ensure there are pins for all the weight machine. My training sessions with Jason W. are effective both physically and mentally. As a person in the similar profession in the medical field, I can assist patients twice my weight without straining my body. I highly recommend coming before 9am if you hate crowds.

I love to come here everyday for my running session. Feels good to spend my time here. Anyone looking for a great gym: here it is!

I acquired a free 7-day pass from their website, as Ive recently moved and Im looking for a new gym. Went there and decided to try it out. I had to speak with the registration manager there first. She asked me if I wanted a trainer. I said no. Then she went on a 20 minute speech about why I need one. Im fully aware of where Im at, where I want to be, and how to get there. Even after telling her multiple times during her rant that I dont want a personal trainer, she continued. I gave her some personal mandatory info of mine. I asked if they would send spam to my email, she promised me they would not.2 days later, spam from 24 hour fitness. Thanks, lady.The gym itself was okay quality. Some machines were a little old and actually rusting. Very packed as well. Roughly 75% of the machines were taken. Will not be returning here again.

Very busy, loud, and constantly dirty. The machines are often out of order or in bad shape (dirty, broken pieces). I would have given it 3 stars but the membership rep who signed me up was dishonest about the terms of the deal, claiming I could cancel at anytime... what he didnt tell me is that canceling would cost me dearly. He also didnt mention I was committing to a one year term at $35 a month with an annual fee of $60, this being their most affordable plan available. He did tell me that it was $30 a month flat, and he will wave the initial fee of $XXX amount with no commitment and cancel anytime status.I am now dealing with their customer service center attempting to cancel my membership. They are very courteous at customer service, but nice people cannot make up for dirty business practices and dirty gyms.Edit: After multiple attempts to resolve the issue through customer support, I still have no resolution. The customer service rep tells me that someone from my local gym will call me soon about this matter. They have told me this 3 TIMES and I have not had ANY RETURNED CONTACT. IF you give them your credit card # they will do whatever they want.

Great gym, nice staff. Quiet most of the time. I would give 5 start but my only complaint is how often the sweaty old people dont wipe down their machines.

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to find a restroom and no one will let you use one as a guest when its 3:30am and nothing else is open. My husband and I were trading cars this morning and he had to use the restroom. The guy behind the counter refused to let him use the restroom and suggested that he go to 7-11. Not a friendly environment. If you want business that is definitely not how to attract it.

Lockers look like they were built in 80s, shower feel like from a prison movie and all equipment is sticky or have brown stains on them. Clean the place!!!!! Maybe a remodel wouldnt hurt.

Marina claims to be the manager of this location. First of all, she has no Customer Service at all!!. She isnt friendly and VERY RUDE should not be working there. I made a report with corporate for her removal. I will not be satisfied until she is gone from this facility as she has no Manager skills. Her name tag doesnt even say manager? She gives short answers, tells you to go figure it out on your own when it comes to an issue on your membership account. very demanding too.

Its fairly busy. But theres always an empty machine. Front desk is nice. Overall a good spot.

Nice gym overall; good temperature, easy to park, wide variety of machines, never very crowded.Why the low rating? On three consecutive trips, I let the people at the front desk know that 2 of the steppers dont work (I gave them the specific machine number as well, which the first two workers didnt appear to write down). On my 3rd trip, I went back to the 24 Hour employee who I had last mentioned this to since the machine wasnt working. Her response, my manager was told but doesnt want to fix it.Either the staff isnt reporting problems to maintenance and management or management doesnt make an attempt to fix in a money saving move. The two machines still dont work a week later and there is not even a sign on either of them indicating that they are broken......

The instructors are all so amazing and inclusive, and the music is always great.

So far our experience has been okay. The only reason we signed up was because my work has a partner ship and offers a small amount less a month. I was never informed of the annual fee and received charges in my account with no explanation. When I called they just told me that someone should have reviewed it with me. So not super happy about it, but I’m in a year contract so I have to stay. Their costumer service is not great.

This 24 Hour Fitness location offers a huge number of cardio machines downstairs and a complete resistance/weight room upstairs. Check Google Maps for busy times and stay away unless you like being a sardine! However, most times of the day are just great and its easy to get in, git r done, and get out. Youll enjoy a no-extra-charge Olympic lap pool, large hot tub, dry sauna, steam room, and group exercise room. Pay a little extra for child watch and items from the pro shop. Parking is easy, and part of a huge shopping center lot. Downstairs, theres music playing overhead, but you can use your headphones to watch a variety of TV channels including Fox News and CNN. There are a wide variety of customers here from obese to athlete and all ages... Though the crowd typically leans towards those in their 20s. You can get a 2-year membership from Costco for $399 (or less when on sale).

Crowded and not enough machines/weights to go around. Ill be looking for another gym soon. This place is to expensive to spend half of my workout waiting for a piece of equipment to open up.

Come during peak hours and you will regret it! It stinks, its suffocating, you dont know whos using what as no one seems to put their weights back where they got them from!I use this gym as it is very close to my house. But I rather come right after work or wait till night. It is usually not so bad when its not crowded. I have seen staff re-racking weights and cleaning (something they usually dont bother doing during peak hours). It is not the cleanest 24 hour in the area. But its not the worst either.

Been going to this gym for awhile and the sales rep I dealt with was trying to push plans I didnt ask for and charge me double the price I usually pay. On top of that I wanted to add my brother to my plan and the sales rep informed me it would cost me 45 dollars more a month, my current rate is 25 a month. What I have learned is not to deal with the sales reps here at all and to just buy a Costco membership alot easier and avoids the hassle of talking to the rude rep.

This location located in the middle of shopping center. Good for losing weight and fitness but no swimming pool or outdoor activity.

Place is filthy and smells like the bottom of a zoo keepers boot, the equipment is out dated, and the ambassador of first impressions was a dismissive aloof that could be less helpful, but hed be really outdoing himself. When the YMCA down the street is a way better option for just gym use, its time to rethink your business plan. However, under achievment will have to suffice because the the place is packed like sardines. *** NO WONDER THEY DONT CARE ***

Nice new and clean gym. Most of the the regulars are Arabic and some of the men have a serious hygiene problem. I mean seriously they stink before their workout. The sauna is ok but the steam room is disgusting. I have actually seen fat people trying to shave in there. All in all the gym is ok except for the less than hygienic Arabic males that are there.

Aside from loud grunting and weight tossing, everything is fine. Dont go into the sauna.

Very dirty, dust and sweat marks on most equipment. Been going for a while simply because it is convenient. Front desk is friendly but that does not really matter. Some trainers try to be intimidating to regulars as if they own the gym. Equipment is outdated and there has not been one NEW piece of exercise equipment introduced in the last 10 years. Almost everything is there has been there since they have opened in 10 years ago. I have been to almost all 24 hr fitness in san diego, and this one is one of the poorly ran ones. Santee, college, mission valley, balboa, downtown, grossmont, ocean beach, pacific beach all have much better facilities and workers.

Been going to all the 24 hour fitnesses In the San Diego area between santee and chula vista east of the 805 and this is my 2nd favorite!small, clean, nice people great location.cons: a little small, a little packed.I still prefer the Santee town center 24 hour fitness to this one, but this ones 2nd runner up.

I like the gym, friendly staff and it’s close to home. They need to really update their machines, a lot of them are really old. Also, they should go live when it comes to their busy hr schedule. The site will say not busy at all during certain times of the day but because it is not live i get there and the gym is always packed. Please make it live!!

Lacks maintenance. Dual soap dispensers in showers yet both empty. Low water pressure in shower, takes three times as long to shower. No shower curtains.

Went In around 9:30 pm to sign up and nobody was available to sign me up for membership some whats up with the 24 hr thing its a joke man

Too bad this so close to my house, today I got unsoliced advice by a trainer,that left me feel like i never want to go back again, he was questioning why i work out the way I do not knowing me and my health issues taking a dig at me with that make sense . Thanks for the insult Master trainer
