I tried to call the center about adverse effects I’m having from a medicine I was prescribed there. I talked to a nurse that not only challenged me about why she thought my symptoms were from the medicine, she gave me bad medical advice to stop my medicine completely even though it clearly states on my prescription and I was told by the doctor who prescribed it— that it’s dangerous to suddenly stop. I can’t believe how rude and callous this nurse was.

It’s hard to believe a mental health center will refuse service based on insurance and then even refuse to see someone on a cash pay basis. This is shocking and disappointing.

Thank you to Ms. Audrey and the weekend staff for making Katie Miller a lively place to be. I dont remember much of anything I learned here unfortunately but your energy lights this place up, and it was very much appreciated during my prolonged stay.
