Customer service run-around! I want my refund!I ordered a laptop on May 7th and wound up ordering 2 by mistake. I contacted OD to return the unopened package. They scheduled a pick-up and received their item back. Item picked up on May 17th. Today is June 18th and I still have not received my refund of over $740. I’ve been told at least three different times that I would receive my refund witching 3-5 business days. It’s been 23 business days since the item was picked up at my home. Still no refund!Btw…very pleased with the laptop we kept.

Disclaimer: I do not normally leave bad reviews, but I would like to be contacted by corporate or someone who doesn’t dodge my questions like the store manager.This store is not qualified to offer the technical services that they do. They offer PC repair and other services such as cleaning... yet the store manager, upon taking in my $1700 PC for a cleaning, admitted that he was not familiar with the delicate process. Upon returning home the PC would not power on.An hour or so later I called the store to let them know what was going on, sure that there would be one qualified technician that could now diagnose the new problem. Upon returning to the store, a sweet young employee informed us that the manager (the PC “technician” in question) who was supposed to be awaiting us to deal with this extremely stressful situation was “no longer on the property,” and proceeded to wiggle some cords around to no avail. He explained that there were no qualifications necessary for being a “computer technician” at Office Depot.My computer still will not power on. While this could have been an unfortunate coincidence, since it was working fine beforehand, it is impossible to say because Office Depot has no security measures in place to insure themselves, or their customers, that the equipment being dropped off even powers on. We run a small business which is impossible without it. Now we are out $20 for the “cleaning,” which was not done well, and have to diagnose and fix the issue which could end up costing hundreds and hundreds... during a pandemic. Management has yet to offer any compensation.Some suggestions:ANYTHING in writing that says your company isn’t liable for damages to PCs during “repair”Have the customer TURN ON THE PC WITH YOU so you can accurately say it didn’t work before your under qualified “technician” opened it upSome liability for your “technicians” when they cause an issueI will update this review if there is any attempt from Office Depot to make this situation right.

Had a print order that I needed that came up, yes it was a total of 1500 pages, store was 2 hours from closing and who I spoke to emphazed that, said can do tomorrow. Went directly to Staples, completed in a little over 45 minutes, Home Depot just lost my companies business.

Literally the worst shopping experience of my entire life. I ordered a desk, when the desk arrived they only shipped half of the package. The desk is a large item so it comes in two boxes. I called customer care who told me it was scheduled for delivery the next day. The package never showed up. I have at this point called customer care every day for the past 4 days. They still have not sent me the rest of my purchase.The absolute worst experience buying anything in my entire life. So office depot without asking scheduels a return on the desk.So I guess on the bright side I wont have to worry about having half a desk. But I just paid a bunch of money for a huge amount of frustration.Beware if you have an issue with them. They will do everything in their power to not solve an issue.

Terrible return policy, and I mean the entire company and also this store in particular. I purchased a monitor from this store, which turned out to be slightly damaged, but was not allowed to return it because I no longer had the box. I called their corporate office, and was told it was up to the manager of the store I purchased the item from whether or not they would accept my return. He would not accept it. I called other Office Depot stores in the area, to see if they would either take my return or had a spare empty box for my item, and was told by each of their managers that they were not allowed to take returns for items purchased at other stores, but was told that they would have allowed me to return my item without the box had I purchased it at their store. Lost over $200 total. I would not purchase anything expensive from Office Depot or Office Max unless you like wasting your money. If you absolutely have to buy something from this company, avoid this store at all costs.

The lady working the printing center desk yesterday did not seem very interested in helping me locate an item for purchase via online. I brought the photo and item# in and when she searched, said we dont have it. Usually when someone wants something online, they just order it online. Went back to my office and researched the product, found it online in 30 seconds. Item #227949

The manager Bill is a super nice guy. I shop this store at the beginning of each school year for supplies and the manager and his staff are always so nice and helpful. The price and value here is better than you could get at the super discounted stores, and if not, I believe that they match competitors prices item for item.

Steven was extremely helpful! I needed a signature stamp made and he worked with me until it was perfect. Great personal service! Great attitude!

I mainly come in here to get my printing done. And I will say thats one thing that you cant really do DIY at home as well as these people do. Let the printing department do their business and youll definitely be okay with paying a little more. Professional, clean and always on point! Make sure you get your orders in before 2:00 p.m. if you want the same day.

I was surprised at the good ratings. Came to this store and let’s just say customer service is a foreign concept to the employees. All I needed was to fax a few papers, I was left standing in the line while the employee kept her back to me as she continued to staple her papers. I called out to her excuse me miss. She turned around annoyed and say I’ll be with you in a minute. Meanwhile 3 other employees are watching this standing around doing nothing and none offered to help. I just left and went to ups where I was greeted immediately and the people were very pleasant. Save yourself the trip to this place and just go to ups. That is if you want good customer service. If not then clearly this is the place for you.

I had a very positive experience at Office Depot. Chris exceeds expectations as a sales employee. He went beyond the call of duty helping me find what I needed and explaining warranties for me. He was also so courteous and friendly.

Office Depot is in a good location - easy to access. I used their order ahead option - and was able to pick up in store. Quick and easy.

I needed a Parker Rolling Ball Refill in Fine Point, Office Depot did not have it. Now I will have to order from Amazon.

Theyve been telling me for four days that the item I want will be in tomorrow. All I want is a cardboard box. Theres no reason an office supply store should be out of every single box in every single size for more than 24 hours, as its a LV item which can be shipped in daily, nonetheless to be out of stock for four days.

Pretty normal office supply store, but the staff was pleasant and quite helpful, and checkout was fast. The inventory isnt exhaustive, like some of the super-sized stores or online, but I was able to get all of the solutions I needed.

The Team Members are usually helpful, but the store manger is very unpleasant and makes you feel like you are an inconvenience, rather than a welcome customer.

Overpriced on most stuff, however the one thing I always need when I go there is reasonably priced and in stock 99% of the time, so its almost always an efficient, in and out, shopping experience.👍😊

Went there to purchase laptop. Person on the floor was very helpful. He called the Manager to get the laptop because only Manager can get them from secured area. Waited, and waited and waited (about 20 minutes). Manager never appeared. Told sales person forget it, Ill go somewhere else and walked out.

Wasnt bombarded by associates, but I was greeted. Goods were easy to browse.

The print department routinely triple charges customers (its up to you to catch it) and the staff are incompetent. There were some major changes over the past few years and the quality of copy and print staff has bottomed out. See ya.
