I had told the βService Advisorβ, Tyler Martino, I would give him a good review. At the time, I was pleased with the way he had gone above and beyond, to assist me. However, since then, Iβve been trying for a week and a half to get my Jeep in for service. I called once last week and Iβve called THREE TIMES this week and no one will return my call. βLet me take down your name and number and Iβll have him call you back.β I also sent him an email and asked for a call back. Too bad no one has made an effort. I wouldβve liked to give a better review. Super disappointed. Good reviews call for more prompt customer service.
I can honestly say I had a amazing experience at this dealership. Our salesman Brian provided A+ service. I couldnβt have asked for a better sales man. Thought this was a reputable dealer but theyre professional scammers. Albert sold me a used vehicle that had a major issue less than 24 hours after bringing it home. Have had several other issues since & later found out my vehicle was never even inspected before they sold it to me. Absolutely took advantage of me & theyll do the same to you.
I had been on the hunt for the perfect vehicle for me and my little family. We decided to go to one more place then we would make our decision. We went to Jim Cogdill and looked around, we found a couple vehicles, but I came across a Jeep that I fell in love with and after researching, checking it out, and test driving, decided I wanted it. Best Deal Brooks is the man with a plan. He is not onlydown to earth and a chill guy, he legit done exactly what he asked of him, got a great payment and money for our other car we were trading in. He had us in and out of there in no time. 10/10 recommend because of them I now have my dream car!
Service was great up until I signed papers on my 2014 tundra, and there was a few things that was a concern that I was told to bring back and they would take a look at. I took the truck back they done a service and put new tires front brakes. I asked them to check the steering due to it not feeling right as well. Said they fixed it, when I left with it I called the salesman talked to him about it and he said he would get back in touch. Itβs been weeks still havenβt heard anything, nor will anybody return my calls. I feel as they made the sale and now itβs not a concern. So with that being said I wouldnβt recommend nor would I waist my time here again. Also Like I said customer service was perfect up until the deal was final..

After being told my appointment is tomorrow and getting a babysitter I show up and am told they have the appointment a week later⦠No sorry our mistake, nothing except we can try and get it in but will be at least 3 hours of waiting.. TERRIBLE! They listed a vehicle at a price and told me they made a mistake of listing it wrongly but would honor the price. As such, they tried to offset that by offering me $6,000 LESS than fair market value for my trade in vehicle. False advertising if you ask me. Their own website listed my trade in estimate at $16,100 and they wanted to offer me $10k. I showed them proof of vehicles similar condition and mileage like mine within a 300 mile range of THEIR zip code going for between $17-$24k! And they want to sit back and say they canβt give me $16k for my car? Terrible business practice, terrible ethics consideration, and terrible as far as providing customer satisfaction. What a joke for a business to try and undermine a customer like this.
I had a inexperienced salesman.I explained that I wanted a car with the ability to engage emergency stops. After I got home and read the window sticker I discovered that the car did not have that feature. The next day I went back and spoke to the manager. He said he would give me another car without any problems. But he had to find one. I end up wait almost a week after that to get a car that I just settled for. The the car had a more expensive audio system than I wanted but I paid the difference. This mistake should not have ever happened. There is nothing wrong with the vehicle I ended up with BUT I not completely happy and I wish I didnt except the other vehicle. That being said I was NOT pressured. But the entire thing should have never happened.
Ive had all my service done on a Ram 2500 at Jim Cogdill, and it runs as well today as the day I bought it 5 years ago. My most recent visit was handled by Tyler Martino and he had me in and out in no time. The waiting area has great wifi, so I was able to work remotely without interruption as they took care of my maintenance needs.

These guys were good today. While it DID help that I knew precisely what I wanted, and knew they had it, there was the offer, but zero pressure to finance through them. I had secured my own local financing. I can from over 300 miles away. While purchases always take time, I never felt that time was wasted anywhere, and I actually enjoyed todays experience. Took less than five minutes to OK my offer, which ultimately consisted of all of $1000 less than what sticker was, more or less. I feel like I got a good deal out of ot all. Would recommend going here for a purchase.

Iβve been looking for a Ram pickup for a couple of years, and was finally ready to trade in my β14 charger (125k miles great condition, KBB was $9-13k). I thought Iβd found the perfect truck and was ready to sign based on the deal sheet presented by the salesman. Then Joe stepped in.Joe is an unpleasant little troglodyte whoβs opening salvo was to price βhisβ vehicle at $10k OVER asking price, and explain to me that he would offer KBB on my car, which put us to sticker. When I asked for my keys back, he looked me in the eye and said βno, weβre having a conversation here. This is whatβs called a negotiation, do you want me to explain it to you?β He then proceeds to tell me that βmaybe I was looking for too much truck and should go look for something cheaper and in my price rangeβ.I literally left Jim Cogdill, drove straight to North Knox Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and bought a Ram Rebel and was given $10k equity in my car.Frankly, itβs a shame to see whatβs happened at Cogdill. Iβve literally bought every vehicle from them, going back to 1997 (a β92 Dakota). Beyond that my family went there exclusively since the late β80s early 90s. From my understanding Jim sold the dealership to some conglomerate from the Pacific Northwest. If the old man had any sense, he should sue them to get his name off the dealership. After being insulted by the staff like this, I will never set foot on that lot again.
Had great experience when I sold my husbandβs vehicle months ago, after he passed away. I felt so comfortable with Joe Collazo, that I came back to buy a truck. Ultimately, I saw a used Jeep that I wanted more and I wasnβt pressured into buying a much more expensive truck. John Biagotti was my sales rep and he treated me with great respect. I would give zero stars if I could. My wife and I bought a new Jeep Renegade here in February. Just discovered that the A/C doesnt work. That part is fine, I understand some things can get overlooked in a PDI for new vehicles. My problem is the service. My wife called and scheduled an appointment to get it looked at. We live 45 minutes away. She gets there and they tell her they cant get to it, that she was scheduled for the afternoon, but that didnt matter because they couldnt do it now. They rescheduled her for four days later and shell have to drive back out there again. Where we live, our next closest option is an hour and a half to two hours. I tied to call, but no one in service or sales would answer the phone. After buying a new car, I would expect decent service. At the least a phone call. I know that the technician makes less money on warranty work, and thats what feels like is happening. I have had zero issues with Ted Russell Ford and Toyota of Knoxville. That is where I recommend you go.

My service trip was handled through Cogdillβs Express Service Department (first come, first served basis). Shelby Parker did an excellent job as my Service Representative. My wait was minimal, and Shelby kept me informed throughout the process. He did a great job walking me through everything that had been done to my car. Especially noteworthy to me was that he was able to resolve a recurring issue with my automatic sliding side doors on my Pacifica. This was the third time Iβd sought service for that at Cogdillβs. The prior trips only seemed to resolve the issue temporarily. This time Shelby showed me what was causing the problem. Turns out I was the problem (operator error), but I could find nothing in the Ownerβs Manual that addressed the problem. Now I know what to look for if it happens again. Overall; great service. I had gone up to the dealership to look at a car I seen on there site I didnβt think anything about it I honestly didnβt think I could even afford anything at the time but I really needed a car soon so I had to start somewhere my sister ended up getting a keep at the dealership a couple months prior so I asked Jesse what all I could get since I had low credit and I was young so he showed me the list of used cars and I saw a car that I really liked on the site so he gave me a full tour of the car he worked with me throughout the whole experience he did his absolute best and honestly he deserves a raise because I never believed that I could feel more welcomed and feel like I was family there everyone is so nice there they will treat you with respect and make you feel at home it wasnβt something I expected from a dealership but hands down I definitely am going back when I get a new car Iβll recommend this dealership to anyone Ik I love this place so much and Iβm super happy I got a car here they worked with me and gave me the best deal they could and I canβt be more happier I absolutely love my car they treat you right and at the end of the day I couldnβt wipe my smile off my face soo thank you so much Jesse and Shelby Parker. I had previously had hardly anything good to say about this dealership, but under the new ownership that happened late last year, they have made changes to the service department and I decided to give them a try to do things other than an oil change.I was not disappointed. The service advisor in the truck center was pleasant, listened to the issues I was having with the truck, and called me a couple hours later to let me know the update (a couple things had to be ordered, one item was in stock and already replaced, and the oil change/tire rotation was being completed right then). It was definitely a good experience. Kudos to the new service manager and how they having things moving in the right direction in this service department.
We were looking for a cargo van and was told we had the van and deal secured. We even offered to put money down and were told it wasnt necessary. While our salesman was out delivering a car, the manager sold the cargo van behind his back to another person. Totally unprofessional and not how you should do business.

I took my 2019 renegade in for oil change and tire rotation and Mr Shelby Parker informed me that there was a couple of customers were ahead of me and said there would be about an hour and half and within that time frame he came to me in the waiting room and said I was ready. My experience directly involved the parts and repair side of the business. They did a great job supplying me and a friend with a part price we couldnt locate anywhere else. They were polite and held a great business standards. I would highly recommend the parts and repair side.
Had a warranty covered problem on my Ram 1500 and since this was the closest dealer, I brought it to them. After repeatedly having to tell several salesmen/service employees Im not interested in purchasing or trading in my truck they handed me a quote for repairs. I asked why my warranty wasnt being applied and they gave me some run-around about how Rocky Top Chrysler Jeep Dodge was the only dealership that honors that warranty because that was where I had purchased the vehicle from. I said Ill just take it to Rocky Top Chrysler Jeep Dodge and they suddenly said they could do the work under the warranty but replacing the fluids would be an extra charge. So of course I wanted to know why fluids wouldnt be as part of the service covered in the warranty. They told me it just wasnt. Rocky Top Chrysler Jeep Dodge had no problem doing the warranty work and replacing the fluids for the $100 fee that was my liability in the warranty.On a side note, Jim Cogdill Dodge uses every dirty sales method shady car dealers are known for and it gets very insulting after they basically harass people on their lot.
I bought a 2019 ram truck from Jim Cogdill. Rileigh Neumann was the car saleswoman and she made the experience for us very easy. Instead of badgering us with questions and trying to tell us what we want. She let us walk around look for what we want and ask her questions. She let us take our time and my wife and I found the truck we were looking for. I am happy as can be with it and definitely would recommend for anybody looking buy a car new or used to check out Jim Codgill dodge.
So we needed the Freon replaced in a rather new van because something happens every winter and we arenβt really sure why.I called and made an appointment for 8am Monday morning on Friday and I asked how much for the service to have it recharged.And they said $460 wellAfter waiting 3 hrs we charged an additional $350+ $300 on top of that making the bill a over $900.They brought it down to $757 but thatβs still almost $300 over what I was quoted over the phone.I donβt like when a business uses they tactics to make money. It shouldnβt take 3hours to pressure test a line and fill it. My husband works in the industry and he said it shouldnβt take more than an hour maybe 1.5hr anything over that is money on the clock.I am very disappointed.
My dates are approximate because I never thought I would experience this so I really didnt pay that much attention. My vehicle was left at the dealership on or around July 16- I tried contacting them just to make sure the vehicle arrived and to speak with the service dept about the problem. I called each day starting about the 19th through the 26th -- approx 8 days-- The dealership call representatives where always nice and would try to reach the service dept and never got anyone to pick up. They would leave a message with my call back number and I never received any communication from them. Around the 21st I called the general manager-- no answer, left message--again, nothing-- Contacted Dodge customer service around the 26th and follow got a call from the service dept the following day. The gentleman was polite-- the cost to complete the work was really bad--had my vehicle moved to a different repair shop. My vehicle was older and I used it for weekend travel. I will say I went ahead and bought a different vehicle since that one broke down and I needed one anyway at Grayson Hyundai and I was able to negotiate the price via text messages before I went to drive it. It had 33000 miles and was perfect just as described. Test drive paperwork and deal complete in less than an hour.
If you are buying a car or truck in Knoxville Cogdill needs to be your first and only stop. Worth driving to see them even if you are in Sevierville or Maryville. I decided to trade in my 2018 Renegade for something bigger. I met with Rileigh Neuman and began the search for a different vehicle. Salesman was helpful but not too pushy. Actually got us sold on a better car for the same price. But just like every dealership, do NOT get sucked into buying their extended warranty. We told them we wanted to put 10k down, and they added extras until the down payment was gone. They did take them off when we asked them so they still get 4 stars, but just be aware.
I cannot remember bthe gentlemans name for the life of me however, I have purchased the last 6 vehicles from this dealership and have always used them for service....an excellent group to work with....

He was knowledgeable about the product and he was straight with us regarding the vehicles we looked at. We bought a used Jeep Wrangler and traded in a car. We got a good deal both on our purchase and our trade-in. We would do business with them again!
I canβt say enough good things about my experience here. Jesse and Joe Responded to my questions via text message the entire day before I came out. Carson in sales was absolutely outstanding. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was comfortable with my purchase and that my toddler had everything she needed. He got down on her level, Ianβs did amazing job talking and playing with her as we waited. Going to a car dealership as a female on your own, with a small toddler, can feel a little intimidating, but Carson and his actions made it a wonderful experience. When we went to finance, Rico went above and beyond in explaining things and also ensured that my daughter had what she needed to stay entertained as we did paperwork. I am beyond happy with my experience, not to mention that they got me better rates than any other dealership in town was able to.

Had a great experience at Jim Cogdill Dodge. Went in on a Saturday night at 630 pm. They had the vehicle I want to look at pulled up and ready test (straight off the truck from delivery!). Everyone was super helpful, especially Tristan and Alberto. Got a good deal for a top end Jeep Gladiator. Itβs a big investment, but I didnβt feel pressured. Which was really important to me. I would definitely buy from them again.
Everything was outstanding! No pressure and we felt like we were treated fairly. Bernard Harrell was our sales rep and he treated us honestly from the minute we walked onto the lot until we left with a new Jeep and Ram 1500. The negotiations and business aspects didnβt end until almost 10:00 pm, but he was with us until we closed on our deals.
Best place to buy a car is Jim Cogdill Dodge Chrysler Jeep I did my app online salesman called me that I was approved would be in and out very quickly. I got there test drove the Jeep and signed the papers was out of there in less than 30 min. No dealer can beat that and they are so friendly they have great people working for them. Matt and Rick were awesome.
