I dropped a bottle of bright pink fingernail polish on hard tile right at the entrance to our master bedroom from our bathroom. The bottle shattered and the pink splattered all over our carpet. I found Andrew and his son to be punctual and professional. They used a process on my area rugs that are on hardwood floors that would allow the rugs to dry quickly. Very professional and informative. We moved into our new home and wanted carpets professionally cleaned. Not knowing what had been on carpeting before or what some of the stains were, they did an initial assessment first. We discussed options and they went to work. They took their time and did not rush through and explained every step of the process and took good care of making sure to protect our furniture and used guards and mats for wood floors. This is a locally owned company, which is what I was looking for. Andrew and his Son did a fantastic job in my house, removing urine spots on the carpet from previous owners having pets. They came in with equipment that can detect any spots on the carpets. These father and son are very humble people and very professional doing this job. They cover the wooden steps leading to the 2nd floor, they covered the main entrance and floor so their equipment hoses don’t damage anything, including putting corners edge protection devices. Very reasonable prices too!Will recommend them at any time!

Maybe getting two puppies wasnt the best idea after having new carpet installed. I couldnt get the doggy smell out of my house myself. I knew I needed a professional, so I looked online based off the ratings, I called Hydrostar. Andrew and his son did a fantastic job on my carpet. When the family came to visit, they commented on how nice the carpet looked. And the doggy smell is gone. They were on time, gave me the price of the job, answered every question I had and did an excellent job on my carpet. To check on the smell, I had family over and asked each one if my house smelled from the dogs. Nope, no more doggy smell, Im very pleased with the job Hydrostar did.

We called Hydrostar to come clean our previous house due to the fact that another cleaning service did a horrible job. When they came out to fix our carpet they were very fair and did a great job. We liked it so much that when we moved we had them come clean carpets at the new place. They did another great job. Hydrostar will be the only company I ever use to clean my carpets.

We moved to Knoxville a year ago - the house we purchased was mostly carpeted and had an overwhelming wet dog smell. I thought we were going to have to pull out all of the carpet. Instead, we thought we would first try having the carpets cleaned to save some money. This father/son team did an amazing job and the smell was (mostly) gone that day! After a few days of having the windows open, the smell was completely gone! We had them clean our tile floors as well and Im so thankful we did! I didnt realize how nasty they were until I saw all the nasty water!My reasons for giving a 4-star-rating are as follows:A couple of the stains that were removed have come back - after about 3 months they were back.We had the carpets stretched in a couple of the rooms which I believe was $10/linear foot and took them all but 5 minutes to complete. I feel they got in a little bit of a hurry in our living room and cut the carpet short. There is now a gap between our tile and carpet. Were trying to find a transition piece to put between the two room that will correct the problem.Overall, Im pleased with the service and would use them again.

Andrew did an amazing job on our carpet!! We honestly did not think the huge deep stains would come out. I wish I knew how to attach pictures before and after. Very impressive carpet cleaning. Before cleaning, carpet was thoroughly vacuumed. Protectors put in place on chair legs and corners so the cleaning hose will not scratch. Price is stated before starting and areas to be cleaned are confirmed. Carpet looks great after cleaning.

Excellent service and results!! I used Hydrostar recently (10/18/19) to clean and deodorize my parents home as we were preparing to sell it. The home was a 2400 sq ft home with older carpet that was worn in the usual places with stains, some extensive! In addition, there was dog urine in every room that needed additional treating and cigarette smoke odor throughout. I knew it was a large, challenging job and insisted that Andrew see it in person before he quoted it. We agreed on a price that I felt was very fair and included the extras needed for the challenge. Andrew was honest about the expected results and clear that some of the trouble spots might not clean well. He spent ample time working through the planning and helping me to understand what the extra service would provide. They arrived on time and completed the job in a sufficient amount of time, as most of the home was carpet. The result was.......... nothing more than MIRACULOUS! All of the areas were clean, fresh and beautiful. All the people that had been in the house previously were amazed. The realtor said the carpet, which had been a potential deterrent, was no longer an issue and enhanced the appearance of the home. The cigarette odor was gone and likely due to the Ozone machines that he used at the end of the job. Shortly after the cleaning, we received an offer. During the inspection, which was on one of the rainiest days wed had in months, the inspector found that the carpet was damp in the basement corner and that we had water coming in. We found that there was a gutter issue on the exterior and fixed it and did the proper clean up. Afterward the realtor mentioned that there was a faint damp smell still. We took some additional measures with a humidifier but I still had a concern and called Andrew to come and assess it. He made a special trip with his Ozone machines but upon inspection stated that he didnt detect any odor and felt that I was all good!I cant tell you how pleased I am with Hydrostar and Andrews service and work ethic. Did I say that I worked and managed this from 500 mile away? Andrew could have taken advantage of the situation but HE DID NOT. He was informative, helpful, honest and genuine in everything he did and I am forever grateful. The service I received made a difficult situation much more positive and manageable. I certainly would recommend Hydrostar for all your carpet needs, large or small. Andrew has made a company that is trustworthy, competent and unique in todays world. God Bless Hydrostar!

With a dog and two cats the carpet was a terrible mess. They protected my hardwood with mats and the wall corners with plastic protectors. Wow! We are super impressed! We thought we had one or two pet stains from our elderly dog. Andrew came in with his UV light and found MANY spots we werent even aware of! Our carpet looks and smells brand new!! Andrew and his son were so nice and professional and taught me things about caring for carpet that I didnt even know! Like fibers are 4 sided so you have to vacuum north, south, east, and west to get everything up. Who knew? Also, they put down things to protect our other floors and carpet and even had a little door thing with a zipper to block the front door while it was standing open! Did a good job of cleaning the carpets but beware of the prices they quote you. They quoted us $200 over the phone and when they got to the house they tried to charge double that amount. I couldn’t afford that price so instead we only had half the carpets cleaned.

This was the best carpet cleaning I’ve ever got!!! A family owned business and they’re super quick and efficient. They quoted me a estimate over the phone and then came and did a walk through to give me the actual number. Due to me having pets and my carpet looking really rough they had to add pet solution which was extra/per room. Didn’t really have the funds to do it at the time and just said to do my living room/dining room and I would call them back to do the bedrooms. I left while he completed the job and came back to find out he did my bedroom anyways with no charge! That’s when I knew I would use them forever more! Great people! Great company!
