DO NOT GET DISCOURAGED BY THE BAD REVIEWS! I think some people may exaggerate, when they dont get what they want... (Not saying that is always the case)I was recommended to this company by a friend, after reading the reviews I was a little skeptical but our friends has been using this company for years & I trust them so we gave it a shot & we were NOT disappointed! The house we rented was beautiful, *clean - which was extremely important to us! & for the most part well maintained. We were very pleased, my family & I had a fantastic time! And I think the staff was fantastic as well, very pleasant all the time & went above & beyond with the only issue we had which was just a sliding door was a little hard to slide open but as soon as I called they sent someone within minutes & fixed it right away! also called to make sure everything else was ok, I felt good that they cared enough to make sure we were happy. I will definitely be renting with this company again. Thank you Elite homes!

I have used elite homes for many years which I have stayed in Cumbrian lakes, eagle pointe, oak island harbor and more. When you read the reviews it is exactly what it looks like. They used to be good with 5 stars given but lately a 1 star at best. I recently stayed in oak island harbor and day one we saw roaches. I called about that and our pool which was supposed to be heated but was cold upon arrival and for days after. The pool guy came and explained that it was electric and not gas which would take awhile. We were there for 5 days. Still only heat when you run jacuzzi for 30 minutes in the jacuzzi only.the pest guy came when we weren’t there.he left a message that he sprayed but we never smelled an odor so thought well maybe it’s a low odor spray.two more days my wife and I stayed and found a nest of roaches in the shower. Ok so I bought my own spray and killed them. My kids came up to stay with us the last two nights and that’s when my son went to sleep with bed bugs on him. I was receptive that we live in Florida and it is one big bug facility but I have owned multiple homes and with success have properly sprayed and never had any issues with bugs period. Donna the general mgr. was rude and condescending and only moved us to another house to move the bed bugs around.makes sense right. So we went to a house at 3am and was in a house way under our expectations but was the same number of rooms etc. we then had more roaches at this location and immediately left. At a 3 star hotel I would get treated better and would be either moved to a clean location or some kind of compensation! Believe me this is not in DONNA’s vocabulary period and she will explain that to you!!!!!If you need pictures I can provide.
Home was very filthy. The houses are very run down, old towels sheets, bugs in kitchen. Non responsive to complaints. It is our fault not theirs. Once they get your money they don’t care. Listen go to a nice hotel enjoy the parks, not these rundown houses. The manager of this business thinks she is so above it all. Condescending and rude.
We have stayed with Elite Vacation Homes for many years, the cleanliness of the houses used to be really good. In 2019 we had a few issues with the house being dusty and having trash but we decided to book with them again in 2020. For about $500 a night my family had high expectations, after a very long drive we had to do our own cleaning since the house was very filthy and we found ants in the kitchen (countertops). The problem was reported to the office the same day of our arrival but they just said that the house was cleaned and inspected and didnt do anything.

COCKROACHES! The TV remote fell behind the couch, and when we moved the couch to get the remote we found a pile of cockroaches. Emailed them, they replied right away saying itll be taken care of immediately That night, we came home and there was a post it note from pest control. Well, as soon as we looked behind the couch. The dead roaches were still there. I wrote to them immediately and still have yet to hear from them.
So far so good again. I hope the problem is fixed. Mel is really nice and professional.Update:Home was amazing, super clean. Pool was heated the next day so everything was to par except for the raccoons tryin to break in lol that was funny. We will definitely rent again. Oh I left something behind and they mailed it back me. I paid for the shipping but it’s was great to know my mother in law got her stuff. Thank you!
Honestly, just a perfect vacation, the customer service was simple and great. The home was perfect clean wonderfully ready for me and the family to an excellent relaxing vacation. Two years in a row so far using Elite Homes and the experience does not disappoint.
Our home was located at Emerald Island Resort . Our home was in need of painting and carpet cleaning, we ordered pool heat and it wasnt warm until the 3rd day. Other than these issues we were pleased with the home, the kitchen was well stocked with quality dishes, pots and pans. We were a party of 12 and the size of the home was perfect. Bed linens and towels were in great shape. Location was very close to everything. Millie from Elite Vacations was very courteous and believe me we called quite a few times the 1st couple of days.
This company has the worse service. Very rude and unprofessional. The house was poorly maintained and they are not responsive at all. Just out to get your money. Bonnie was very unfriendly and uncooperative. If you make a complaint you are either too picky or unreasonable. Nothing is her fault. Look for another company. Pass on this one.
Friendly and helpful for easy rentals, wide variety
We rented one of the houses from Elite homes for 2 weeks in July 2017! There was 10 of us! My husband,our 5 kids, my mom, dad and mother inlaw! We had two towels for the 10 of us! We asked a few times for more towels! It took 4 days to get more towels. The master bathroom whirlpool tube had mold in the jets, two of the toilets were dirty & dishes were dirty. We asked the office if they could come clean it they said they would! They never did. We found a pill in the living room near the couch. I told the office about finding the pill, they did nothing about it! I reminded them that my 18 month old could have found it and swallowed it! They still did nothing about it! We should have never found a pill in this house! Other than that we did have a good time the private pool was very nice! The kids loved it! It was very quiet! I think this company needs to clean better!Shannon
Awful service, managed my house and they kept it in terrible condition. Bonnie is Very rude and I would warn you to stay away. Use Airbnb instead. This company is awful.
I went to visit my family that was staying here for thanksgiving. The property was in Cumbrian Lakes. The place was filthy and I was there not even an hour and we found bed bugs. Not just one, multiple. So here we are at 6 am drying everyone’s clothes and trying to get rid of these bugs. No help from management whose only solution is to move to a different rental. So my family drove 25 hours to come to Florida for thanksgiving and what do they get bed bugs. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Never had to deal with bed bugs in my life. Will never recommend this place to anyone.
The property was not clean. There were dirty rugs and stained carpets. The glass on the coffee table was stained and the few towels and wash cloths supplied were dingy. the artificial flowers were dusty. There was a distinct odor of uncleanliness.I would not recommend unit 4707.
Our stay was very enjoyable, and the house was furnished very well. We have already recommended your firm to some friends of ours, and will rent from you again in the future ourselves. Thank you for making our trip very enjoyable.
We were impressed with Elite Homes. They gave all the information we asked for upfront, no hassle, and answered every single question we had, and we had MANY. They never let us down. It was a pleasure working with them.
For $400 a night, this home is so outdated that the carpet, drapes, and furniture all appear to be from the 90s or early 2000s, and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned since then either.Dirty carpets, blood stains on sheets, rusty sinks. My family and I will no longer be using Elite Homes.

My family’s stay was very enjoyable. The house was beautiful. The accommodations were great. My elderly mother in law was at the property the most and she complained about the Wi-Fi because she could not use her electronics she brought for entertainment during the stay. Other than this the house was great.
In the 11 years I have rented a vacation home during our stay in the Disney area, we had never had such a horrific experience as we did this time during our Spring Break, 3/31-4/7. We rented a vacation home located in Lake Berkley in Kissimmee, FL, through VRBO. Keep in mind, we have rented this home three times in the past without any incidents, on the contrary, we have had a great experience.This time we were left homeless and with no help at all from this management company especially the property manager Bonnie Altamirano and the Property Management owner, David Ramsden. The owner of the home, Ade Talabi, who resides in the UK informed me that the home was rented to us and that we should be in the home and that Elite Vacation Homes doubled booked it.When we arrived Saturday 3/31, the guard did not let us through because he stated that the another family had just checked in and were in the home. I immediately called the property manager, Bonnie Altamirano, she did confirm that the home was occupied and that if we would have checked in before them, she would have been In this predicament. She was very nice at the beginning. She advised us to rent a hotel room for the night until she was able to speak to the homeowner, Ade Talabi, who lives in the UK. I immediately asked her who would be responsible for our hotel reimbursement and she replied Ade will. We rented two rooms at the Embassy Suites Orlando for the amount of $700.00.I kept emailing Ade as soon as we were not allowed to check in and all through the night since I was not able to sleep.Ade first emailed me at 6:37 am on 4/1 stating...What happened? I have told the management company you are suppose to be in the villa. We have a guest in there that moved out yesterday. I will call the management company later. I cant call now but in two hours time.He then called me at 6:49 am and he reassured me that he did NOT doubled book the home and it was the management company who did.The last text I received from Bonnie was at 12:43 pm on Easter Sunday and this is what she stated...Plan b is a bust as guest have not left. My boss is getting with ade as had he communicated regarding Pool heat on March 28 we would not be in this mess now. Not your fault not my fault this is done to the owner to rectify. I am in the field dealing with other check outs and arrivals. I have put this in my bosses hands for now.The whole misunderstanding was because on March 28, I emailed Ade asking if we could get the pool heated and if his home was available for us to rent the home in June (2-9). It is evident that it was the management who left us homeless and without a place to stay. If you read Bonnie s reply above we wouldnt be in this mess now.The only ones in a mess was my family as they were going on with their life without a worry or care. Both Bonnie Altamirano and David Ramsden are very inconsiderate and heartless people that left a family out on the streets without them rectifying their error. We were going from hotel to hotel on a daily basis. We have spent over $2,200 in hotel stays which they do NOT want to reimburse us. They didnt care that I have a very sick child and they were aware of. They just put us on the streets like animals.Beware of these evil and conniving individuals that obviously do not care for anyone but themselves and the money that goes into their bank account. I am currently in contact with the local news to have my story told so that they will never do this again to other families.
Stayed at one of Elite Vacation homes for 2 weeks and we could not fault the home. Excellent customer service, would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Orlando.
STAY AWAY!Disgusting OLD dirty vacation home, after a 12 hour drive we arrived to the home and was so disappointed. The furniture was so old, mold in the showers dust and bugs everywhere we immediately left the home. We were promised a refund - 6 weeks later and we are still waiting.
My family really enjoyed their stay, but I really didnt enjoy the house we had nets flying around in the main room when you come through the door. We cooked dinner before we left to go to a football game and came back nets was in our food. The hot tub was dirty as well as the walls in the kitchen eating area. The patio screens had holes in them, which caused lizards to invade the pool area. I just couldnt really enjoy this particular house. Went to another one of my family members home and it was nice and clean with no bugs.....Called the management and they say they sent someone out but the nets were still there and the hot tubs was still dirty. I dont think ill be staying here again at least not at that home. I was really upset with the kind of money we spent to get something like that....
On Friday, June 19th my family wanted to surprise our 70 year old mother for her birthday. I was livid once we entered the property. Smelt like dog at the entrance. Game room empty with No table games! Furniture was old, antique and very dirty! All the tv were out dated with no video game connection. Not to mention the dining area was full of ants!! All the linen in all 6 bedrooms were dirty, stained and needed to be replaced. Then to top it off the pool was dirty. We wasted our Friday night buying linen and cleaning supplies to make the home liveable. Dont forget we had to spray for bugs. Called the office to complain and they stated there was nothing else available. The cleaning crew is doing nothing to keep the property clean!! There was nothing to enjoy! On Saturday morning they sent someone to spray....to late we took care of that Friday night. They also sent someone to clean the pool on Saturday evening (really)!! For $1,000.00 this was unfair to my family! I do not recommend this company to anyone. The other house that was rented had roaches and everything was broken!! Our address wS 1220 Winding Willow Dr......please dont waste your money. More than a week and I havent heard anything from the company. Low rate and poor business.....Im just disgusted!! Never again

I dislike the property I stayed in because I had the king room downstairs and the mattress was uncomfortable it slept hard it squeaked every time you moved. I called in and complained everyday that I was there all they wanted to do was to offer me 100 back after paying nearly 1800 I was told that the mattress was one of the newest ones so I asked them to send someone out and they did he said it was a bad mattress but again I was told that it was new I think they got it mixed up with the one upstairs. I will from now on stay in a hotel or a resort no more elitevacation home for me from elite. Maybe another rental but not elite . The first person I talked to in the front office didnt really care however the lady Ms. Linda was trully regretful for my unpleansantness the rest of my family enjoyed theirselves of course they were able to sleep in beds while I slept on th sofa.
First this review was initially posted on Elite Homes facebook page but it was removed. Have used Elite homes twice in the past and had great experiences but the third time will be the last. There were a myriad of problems with the two homes we rented but they were mainly small issues that could have been overlooked if there hadnt been so many of them. There was one major problem though which was the cleanliness of the homes. The floors and area rugs were disgusting. Walking on them in white socks for just a few minutes would turn your socks black. The walls look like they hadnt been painted since the 1940s and the homes were built in 2002. There was dust and cobwebs throughout and the dishes all had to be washed before you used them. The issues we contacted them about included a leaking refrigerator, a broken dvd player, a sink, and a door alarm that wouldnt stop beeping. They resolved the sink and the door alarm after several days. When a second door alarm had the same problem we just fixed it ourselves since we now knew how. One of the pools wasnt heated for 5 days... The list goes on and on.In my opinion the management company is slipping and I would look for better options.
